i've been here twice. both times i had my brows coiffed beautifully by nikki. on my second visit, i went for a haircut/style as i needed it badly... have you seen unkempt curly hair? basically mine was nearing the status of birds plucking my hair to add to their nests status... that bad.
i love the fact that i was easily & efficiently able to book my entire appointment in a few clicks over the internet. i was paired up with kristin. thankfully her sister has even curlier hair than i do & she's dealt with that mess at a young age. mine was probably like child's play for her. in less than an hour later, i left with lovely layers & hair that beckoned people to look at me, especially on that windy day.
the entire staff is friendly & cordigal. though the checking out was slow both times i've been there. something needs to be altered there.
I've been coming to Salon Bravissimo since the 7th grade and I'm in my last year of college now. Amazing salon with stylists who actually know what they're doing. I've been going to Eva for years, as well as my mom, and Eva definitely knows what shes doing. If you want great hair go to Salon Bravissimo and ask for Eva. Shes SO good that I can just go there, sit down in the chair and let her work her magic and I've never been disappointed with my hair EVER.
I now live in the OC and no other salon/stylist can compare....even the high priced salons I've been to in Beverly Hills....no one can compare... I promise! I work as a server and a lot of my customers always ask who does my hair and I tell them I get it done back home in Sacramento.....and they're shocked. I think that says A LOT. I just wish I could fly home to get my hair done more often.
Side Note: Eva's booked ALL THE TIME....so book in advance but all the other stylists are really talented too! I also really like Dehn. So if you're in a hurry and want to take a cancellation spot, don't hesitate to try a different stylist. All simply amazing!
I've been coming here for years to get highlights and this place is amazing! The drive is worth it and I always leave happy. The stylist are attentive and takes their time into fulfilling what you want. They're very passionate in what they do, if it's something that could damage your hair, they will not let you do it. The service is great! Joy (owner) is my stylist and I love her, Holly (Joy's assistant) is great too, very sweet girl. I went in while there were 2 wedding parties and their hair and makeup was gorgeous! Really! I believe they do all types of services from hair and makeup to facial, waxing, and eyelash extensions. I definitely recommend this salon!
The salon is also always having specials on their product lines so it's easy to be ringing your stuff up at the register and for them to tell you that one of the items you are buying is free! Plus, their punch card deals (ie. buy 9 products, get a 10th free, or get 7 facials, get the 8th free) are awesome.
When my sister was in town, I scheduled an appointment for her and she loved it too! She even got (due to a special) a free travel size kit of products that Emily recommended for her!
Emily has since left, but I've gotten a facial from Nikki and she does a great job as well. My first love will always be Emily, but Nikki is highly competent and gets the job done. If I had to analogize the difference between the two, Emily is like a scented bubble bath while Nikki is like a nice hot shower. Both get the job done in the end but in different ways. My skin was super unhappy due to me being highly hormonal at the moment, but after a visit with her, two days later, my skin was back to looking great.
I've only gotten my hair cut by Julia (I also hear great things about Art) and though she will bully you just a teensy bit into buying products, she does a great job on my hair and I'm always happy with it when I leave.
The only thing that makes me uncomfortable about Salon Bravissimo is how seriously everyone kisses your ass as you are about to walk out the door. I've never thought I had particularly nice lips, great skin or healthy hair...so maybe I'm just uncomfortable getting compliments on that. They absolutely have the best prices in town that I've found so far though.
I promise this is the last time I will update but I got my hair done here again last weekend. Jen gave me a shorter, curly cut and let me say... I LOVE IT!! She is the only stylist who has helped me work my natural curl. She even taught me how I can recreate the look by myself. She didn't push me to but the product but I loved the simple routine she showed me and ended up buying it all anyway. So if there are any curly girls out there looking to love their locks instead of torturing their tresses, check out Jen!

Yay bravissimo! This is a great salon and the staff is fantastic. The stylists are ALL amazing, but I won't give my stylist's name away. She's hard enough to get in with.
Saw good reviews and took a chance after moving to the area to try out a new salon which is a big deal considering I am getting married this month. So far I have only had really great experiences there. had my hair done, facial, microdermabrasion, glycolic. I, too, will keep my people's names anonymous so that others can't take my future spots! oh, alright... denh(hair)- very patient and meticulous; and nikki(facials)- sweet, experienced, and knowledgeable. she does massages, too, and is very good. overall, they all seemed to look out for me and not just try to sell products/services. I didn't give them 5 stars since I haven't tried any of the other salons in the area, but I don't plan on going to any other salons.
