I have been seeing Magda on and off since she was working for a salon by the Stonestown mall...but I always end up going back because no one listens to what I really want AND actually cut it that way other than Magda. The only reason I do go elsewhere is that my busy schedule doesnt always fit her busy schedule (thus the four stars instead of all five).
I HATE getting haircuts and ALWAYS scared wherever and whenever I go...but after getting my haircut here..I always realize I have no real fear with her.
Terrible customer service! Walked in and was completely ignored. They weren't even busy that Sat. afternoon.
I saw Magda couple of times for haircuts and my experience was very mixed. The first haircut was great (also maybe because my expectations were low) and she seemed very friendly. But the quality went downhill there after and so her attitude. I swear I tipped her well!! Anyway, after a pretty bad haircut six months ago (when it seemed like she barely touched my hair), I finally gave up and stopped going. I really wanted to like this place because it's super close to my house and was disappointed that it didn't work out.
I think I've found my salon. I've had two updos and one cut here. Actually, it was more like a trim. Laura was really friendly and despite the simplicity of a straight across trim, made sure it was the perfect length and exactly how I wanted it. Anna is updo master. She does cuts too, but I've never had her cut my hair. Anna can do pretty much anything and will accommodate any request. Both times she did my updo, it was absolutely perfect, even with my really fine, difficult-to-style hair and nitpicky attention to detail.
I took off a star because I've had some scheduling conflicts here, and I had to fix my friend's updo immediately after she got it done here. We got to my house and I noticed some hair sticking out of her French twist in the back. It was nothing major, I got the hair stuck back in with some bobby pins and gel, but that shouldn't have happened. It's not like a French twist is super complicated, and we had JUST gotten back from the salon. I don't know who her stylist was, but this is why I recommend Anna. As for the scheduling...one time I came in when I thought I had an appointment with Anna, only to find out I really didn't. Or at least it wasn't in the books. I could've sworn the lady I spoke on the phone with told me I got the appointment, but I guess it was some sort of misunderstanding. It turned out okay though because I saw Laura. Another time I came in for my updo trial appointment only to be turned away. I had a 3:00 with Anna, and while I was driving there she had called my cell and left a message asking to reschedule for 3:30 because she was running late that day. I got to the appointment at 3:00 and Anna was still busy with another customer; then I checked the message. Anna saw me at 3:15 and apologized that she was late. I explained to her what kind of updo I wanted and said she could do it no problem...just not today. I was surprised that despite the fact that she saw me fifteen minutes earlier than her request of 3:30, she still couldn't do it. Seemed rather unprofessional. She explained that her other appointments had come late and really set her back, and she just didn't have the time to do the work my updo trial would require right then. Couldn't she have told me this on the phone before I came here, or even before I spent ten minutes explaining to her what I wanted? She made it up to me though by rescheduling my appointment and giving me a free trial. Anyway, Anna rocked it so I forgave her. If anyone wants to know prices, updos run about $50-65, trials are a couple bucks less. Women's cuts are $35.
They do make-up and nails here too, but I've never had that stuff done. Overall a really good place.
There were 2 ladies doing hair that stared at me when I came in. They both turned back to their work. One of them looked back at me again and saw that I was still standing there and she said - can I help you?
Me: yes, do you take walk-ins?
Her: yes. what do you need?
Me: I'd like to get a bang trim and possibly a manicure.
Her: (yells at a lady doing nails at he other side of the store) Do you have time for a manicure?
The other lady: No
Her: kept working on the hair and went back to pretending I wasn't there.
I walked out.
Maybe they don't need any new customers. Oh well....
i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. the FIRST time i came here i was given amazing service. the place is very modern and up kept.
i absolutely loved the job she did with my haircut and dye ... people usually make AT LEAST ONE mistake, but she made NONE.

This place was sooooo nice at accommodating me. I called and asked to come in right away and they found me an appointment. Anne cut my hair and did it so well. It only cost $25! I didn't do a wash or blow dry but she did straighten my hair out to make sure my hair looked good and the cut was right. I will be going back here!
LADY T is the bomb Yo!!
Back in the day when i had long hair, she would hook me up with the sickest braids. She gave me like 6 or 7 different looks all nice and tight.
She a nice lady..we had some good talks on that salon chair. She is pretty gentle too..unlike some other people who yank on your hair.
PS I went to braid it up and a few other spots in the south bay, but i rather trek my butt 45 minutes to see T.
If only i had long hair again
Lady T did my Updo for my wedding. WoW what a great experience. She has a terrific attitude & kept me calm the morning of my wedding. My niece and step daughter also had their updo's done by Anna. The three of us looked STUNNINGLY beautiful. They were quick, and cheap. My regular stylist doesn't do updo's. I understand a stylist either has the talent for it, or they don't. I had looked and looked for a stylist and am so happy I found this saloon. I found it here on Yelp, and would recommend it.
Magda is one of the best hair stylists I've ever been to. She and Anna and Lady T are extremely professional, talented and give great haircuts. My husband can't get a good haircut anywhere, he has paid over $100 for his cuts, and having thick curly hair doesn't help. Magda is the ONLY person he will see now, and her prices are much more reasonable. She also gave my son his very first haircut, and sat still the whole time!
The owner of this salon, Anna Margiannni was formerly from Structure. I used to go to Structure because of her, but now that she has her own salon, it's easier to book her. The new place is spacious, offers a whole lot of beauty and spa services. And most importantly, she definitely knows what she's doing. I've been going to her for years, and always come home happy with the results. Try her out!
Anna is great and I've been going to her for the past three years after having my share of ups and downs with a variety of hair stylists. Prices are reasonable for both cut and color. Anna knows what works and I stick with it! I especially love the way my hair grows out about two or three months after getting it cut.
I had a good experience with Magda who did exactly what I asked her to do. I barely wanted any length taken off and she did exactly that while still shaping it up and getting rid of the babushka look I had goin on. The prices are excellent too! Im considering having her do my color next month as well. Thanks Magda!

Magda always is able to "fit me in",
Fit my son in, my mom, my grandma, my friend...
The salon has a family feel to it -
atleast I feel like I am a family members place.
It's just a comfortable and relaxing setting.
Isn't that how getting your hair done is supposed to feel like?
Like a treat, it' s no muss, no fuss, no pretention.
And you leave feeling GOOD!

It's a great salon, you can get a mani/pedi - if you prepare in advance...
They do a great job with my unruly hair, within a good time frame, as I am impatient, and the prices are the best around town!

Anna is the best hairdresser I've managed to find since I moved to the city five years ago. I love what she does to my hair so much that I don't mind having to drive out to the suburbs! Great service, very reasonable prices. I can always count on Anna to make me look great!

12/19/07 -My mother and I went in a few weeks ago. I got partial highlights and my mother got just color done. Ana is the BEST. =) My mom loves her new look and of course as always I love my high lights. If you want a great cut (that grows out great as well) and color - she is the person to go to! I can't say how amazing Ana is. I'm luck to have found her!!!! If you haven't been to Salon 725 - trust me you should try it!!!!
I finally found Ana since she moved from Structure. Can I just say ~ She does the bests cuts (and color/highlights even though I didn't get them this time). If you can, please go see Ana. She is truly the best! Take my word for it - the best!!!!!! Thanks for the cute cut yet again Ana!!
Worst haircut I received in years! I am not one to cry but after I received my haircut I was so depressed at how horrible it looked. It was way shorter than I communicated, and I looked like a boy. :( I went to the salon after printing out their craigslist coupon and I will never return.
Magda was referred to me by a friend. I was having a hard time finding someone who could cut and control my curl. It's so hard finding someone who can cut curly hair and I had been to several sylists and salons. I've been going to Magda for over a year. In fact, I was so happy with her haircut and style, I trusted her to do my wedding day up-do/hairstyle because she is so amazing.
I highly recommend Magda for anyone looking to try someone new but especially if you have a curl/wave in your hair. She is very talented and patient. Most importantly, she listens to the style you want and makes sure you leave happy.
I have been going to Magda for over 5 years now when she use to work in San Francisco......I am so excited that Magda and Anna have opened up their own Salon and it is closer to my place of work. The atmosphere is wonderful and they are very friendly. When it come to my hair (yes even as a guy) I don't anyone but the best from Salon 725 touch it!! i just recently went to this salon ( i heard from a friend) and magda was great. she was very nice and professional, she cut my hair fast and it looked great. i would not rec. getting your nails done there though, i had a pedicure and she is not friendly at all, and cut me twice on my toes while filing. so its great for hair but not for nails.
