Not huge into sushi, so I can not attest to that, however their Chinese food is the best around. There is a takeout place in the next shopping center over, and they have nothing on this place.

came by to get dinner before my work shift. small place, but I do like its charm. so i ordered the volcano rolls, spicy scallop hand roll and shu mai soup. my whole order was made very quickly and glad they had everything in bag, when i was unsure if I got chopsticks for the sushi. The volcano roll was yummy, but wish it was spicier, it seemed mild, same goes for the spicy scallop hand roll. otherwise, pretty good, now the shu mai soup, defiantly was different for sure, but the dumplings were very flavorful and loved the chicken broth, got to say, i think I like shu mai in soup now rather than without it. staff was friendly and quick to point with my order.

We had visited this restaurant twice, and on both occasions, we noticed that the sushi chef did not wash his hands after using the bathroom. During our first visit a few months ago, the food was decent with a rating of 3 out of 5, but we had concerns about the hygiene of the establishment, including dirty tables, floors, and cups, and unpleasant service.
Last week, we decided to give the place another chance and were shocked by what we experienced.
After 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come from the back, a lady appeared and asked for our drink order. It was at this point that the chef entered the bathroom, used it, opened the door, flushed the toilet, and left without washing his hands. Although the walls were thin, we did not hear the sound of running water, and were left quite surprised by his behavior. (And yes! He started making a call-in order after that)

Just was here trying to pick up a part of a missing order - even had my GF call ahead to let them know and instead of making it right, they argued they already packed it and tried to say to bring it back after I already drove all the way back to pick it up? I definitely was not a Karen so I just left... I'm at a loss and have to call my bank to reject this charge as we did not get our meal. be careful of wrong or missing orders and argumentative workers even if u show up and ask nicely to resolve it. In shock on how badly the service was to resolve this?

Love this place with all of my heart. Sushi is always fresh and delicious and the people who work there are incredibly kind.

Great place to get food from always tasty and fresh and atleast 10x better then the nasty greasy poorly made Chan's 50 feet away

Normally the food is very good but buyer beware- they make mistakes when putting things in the bag and then when you ask for a correction, they want to charge. For example- we ordered some sushi and a shrimp tempura appetizer. They made shrimp tempura sushi. When it wasn't in the bag we went back to get the shrimp and they wanted to charge us even though we had to go all the way back! And we are talking $6 here. The guy also tried to tell me I should have brought the sushi back.. but we didn't realize what had happened, we just thought they forgot to put it in the bag (because they often do forget to put items in the bag). Overall, will never eat there again because we spend a lot of money there (they are our local place) but wouldn't honor it. Happened one too many times. I'll be sure to tell everyone in Cornwall to go to the other Chinese place. Cheapskates.

My husband and I have been going to eat there for at least 4 plus years. Service was great and so was the food. Food continues to taste good . The Service not so much anymore. It seems like they don't care for customer. Keep an eye on your itemized receipt for extra hidden taxes charges if you don't pay cash.
Is ashamed that a place that care so much to their customers is more interested in the extra buck.

My daughter and I popped in for some Chinese. We took a table and once seated, realized ALL the people in the restaurant were wearing their coats and NOT eating... uh, ahem.
It became obvious this was a take out place and the tables were props.
I began to get a weird feeling like everyone waiting for their take out saying "Ppghh, look at these two thinking their getting a waiter!".
My daughter looked to me and said "wanna jet ?"
And we were gone... wise move.

I have enjoyed Sakura for the past year or so. The food has been good, tasty and proper portions. Recently I ordered barbecue spareribs and they were served burned black and overdone. What surprised me was that they were even served at all. When I called this to the attention of the owner, the response was "next time they will be done correctly". At once admitting the mistake, but no apology, etc.
