My family loves Greg!
I live near Pasadena. There are plenty of great local salons near me. But I drive to Santa Monica to get my "hair did." So does my husband.
We both go to Greg at Saints. Greg just knows and understands hair. No matter what your hair is like and no matter how you like to style it, Greg knows what to do with it.
I have fine, slightly wavy hair that I like to wear in long layers and usually air-dry. Greg knows how to cut my hair.
My husband has stick straight hair that he likes to wear in many different styles depending on his mood. Greg knows how to cut my husband's hair.
My mother, when she comes to visit, likes to go to Greg. She has thick course hair with natural waves. Recently, she arrived with a cut she liked but it was too thick and she wanted the weight cut out and the style reshaped but no length gone. Greg knew what to do. I'd almost swear that her hair looked longer when we left. Regardless, Greg gave her the exact cut she was asking for.
Greg is a sweetheart, a professional and an amazing stylist.
This review makes me female number three to brag about how beautiful my hair looks because of Greg. It also makes me the third one to basically say that he saved my hair.
The scenario is as simple as this: I had dark, Snow White Hair with unflattering extensions darker than my real hair. I wanted Amy Adams red--extensions and all.
Greg did a color correction and worked with me until we got the perfect shade of red. I walked out inlove with my hair! Go see Greg today. I go here because it's next to my work and Michelle, one of the hair dressers, is an old friend. I really like the place and the work she does is always top notch. It's a nice convenience to be able to walk over there on my lunch break and get my hair cut. They have a good selection of products too.
Hell, they even let me use their bathroom once when our work restroom was broken.
Trust me, it ain't easy to find a public restroom in that area that isn't inhabited by the street heathens that make themselves known in dark alleys and on bus benches. God forbid you have to park in the public parking lot late at night.
But anyway, back to Saints....they gives good hair services.
If you want a great blow dry, Saints is an awesome place to go. I've had several of the stylists give me a great blow out when I was in a time crunch. Don't hesitate to stop by and walk out feeling fabulous.
I had naturally blonde hair in my teens and early twenties, but it has gradually gone to a dingy brown color. So...brown roots on a blonde is a big no-no...and I'm a blonde at heart. I have the tendency to wait WAY too long to get my hair done. You know...work, social events, trying to save money, etc. But everytime I go to Greg and have my hair done, I ask myself "why didn't I do this sooner?" It always looks amazing!!! He is a HAIR GOD I tell you. I walk out of there and onto the Santa Monica Promenade (as it's right around the corner) and I literally feel like people are staring at me. All I want to say to them is "I know...it's the hair isn't it". Please go see Greg...you will be so pleased (I drive all the way from Long Beach...)
Consistently you will see my hair change color, length, & style. I used to go to Vidal Sassoon when I was a wee little thing but in recent years I found the - THE BEST gal to deal with my hair. Bo Mattie at Saints Salon in Santa Monica is a complete talent and I love how my hair looks when I leave her... oh the joy of a good looking head of hair!
