6 reviews for Sagaponack Restaurant
My family went to Sagaponack for brunch on Halloween.
As soon as I walked in to the restaurant, it feels like I am in Hamptons.
I love the decor of this place-white marble table and bar.
They have a second floor which is perfect for the party.
I ordered lobster roll and omelet.
Food tastes fresh and tasty. Portion was so big.
Waitress was friendly.
Can't wait to go back
My sister lives in the neighborhood and was waiting eagerly for a new place for our weekly brunch and I have to say the food was awesome and given the location and ambiance, very well priced! Eggs Florentine and Blueberry Ricotta Pancake respectively. The staff was sweet and attentive for the most part but there was one waiter whose shrill voice and over the top gushy, insincere attitude totally turned us off, sort of an off energy for a nice place.
We will most likely be back on another weekend-hopefully one when he isn't working!
Brunch is really good. Very different from the regular week-day lunch. Weekday lunch is self-serve and kinda like a deli. Brunch is table service and great food. Everything looked and tasted really good - we had an omelet and blueberry-ricotta pancakes. It was nice but very casual too. I want to go back and try the eggs benedict.
This place is good, but with some things they have to work out. I think it is still very new. A couple of things:
1) They have a "salad bar" with maybe 10 options. The food is right at the head level of the customers waiting in line to pay, open to be coughed on. I am not a germ freak but they need some kind of covering.
2) Only one cash register. I waited on line to pay for about 7 minutes. Unacceptable for a lunch place.
3) The interior where one could sit looked nice. I took my food to go.
I got the chicken with two sides for $5.95. The food was good, not great. I would go back.
Exceptional sandwiches and wraps (have not tried the hot food), very good prices, pleasant atmosphere and staff. Food is served "cafeteria-style" but with some nice tables set-up for dining in. (Table service is apparently coming soon.) A welcome change from the usual offerings in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!!
The menu features soups, salads, sandwiches, lobster and other seafood rolls. A lobster roll (see photo at http://www.madparknews...) runs $12.95. A few wild cards on the menu are a taco bar and a dumpling and pancake station.
