One of my favorite NY shopping stops has hit Chicago, and I'm thrilled. The dead sea scrubs are the most amazing skincare products I've ever encountered. My skin feels so soft and the scents are delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and the minimalist packaging is a nice change of pace.

I happened to walk past Sabon on State St. and they were giving samples away. I went in and everything smelled so good in there!
I'm trying out one of their facial bars right now, and I'm loving it so far. I'm definitely gonna go back as soon as I'm done using up all of my stuff from LUSH. :)

I'm not really into buying soap at a specialty store like this but I must admit that I'll be back as a regular customer. Kinda pricey but worth it?
Sabon, I love you.
I've never been into expensive bath or beauty products, but then I moved into Chicago, and have been hooked.
At first I was a little intimidated, because I was pretty new to this sort of product. Before this I generally would by my bath stuff at the drug store. NEVER AGAIN.
My favorite thing has to be the lemon mint body scrub. It smells amazing, and is great for your skin.
Plus, all the staff members have been super nice, and not pretentious like I thought they might be.
Go get clean.

Sabon is one of my favorite places in town to get bath products. I used to exclusively be a LUSH girl but after trying their Body Scrub (staff is extremely helpful and very encourage testing their products) I am a believer.
The company is based in Israel and use natural ingredients. The company opposes animal testing.

Sabon just opened up right down the street from me, so I had to go in and check it out. The staff was super friendly and informative and seemed eager to let me try out and smell all the wonderful hand made soaps and scrubs... they have a giant fountain in the middle of the minimalistic store... I loved it. My hands were so soft and fresh after he showed me the exfoliating scrubs and sea salts.. I left with a jar of lemon coconut body gel lotion. I couldn't wait to show it off in my bathroom- it looks like something your grandma would have given you from her collection- bare minimal labeling, not a whole lot of descriptions (or even a website) on the label, but I like that... everything is hand made in Israel. The men working in the store were Israeli too, I believe.
I love the products and funky feeling at Lush, but Sabon is almost the anti-LUSH. No silly names or in your face packaging (although I am sucker for that too!) ... just very simple and the products are what they are- lotions, scrubs, salts, soaps, and even some aroma candles and such... i love it! I'll definately be popping back in the store for that lovely salt scrub treatment!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. First tried it in NYC. I haven't been to the store in Chicago yet i haven't used up all the products i bought in NYC. The scents are incredible, very yummy without being fake or too perfumey! The body butter is perfect for Chicago winter weather. I can't wait to go replenish my products:)

I'm generally not a person whos that into pamper products, but this place was incredible. i left the store with my hands feeling the softest theyd ever felt in my life. all of their products come from the dead sea and are hand mixed/created. its a large product line, the actual venue is beautifully designed, and the employees are more than helpful and knowledgeable about the products. i recommend everyone pick up a jar of the body scrub, what theyre best known for, for themselves and a few extras will make great gifts!

This was my first time visiting Sabon and I must admit, I am in L O V E with their Vanilla Coconut body scrub!! I loved it so much I even picked up a candle of the same scent.
It's a shame their store is so tiny and inside a mall - I haven't visited their other store on State, so maybe they have more space available there?
