I took my friend in for his car service. They charge  you $199 up front for having the car check up every time when the engine lights turn on... fine~.
What happen to my friends car was the thermostat for the cooling system and the rear break. The estimate cost is $650 to fix both, so he asked for a break down, $350 for the break, $300 for the thermostat.

He authorized them to fix the break, I took him back in the evening to pick up the car... the bill came up to $850 ... WHAT????

We have to left the car there, the next morning he called back and said he didn't authorized for the thermostat just the break, they told him for the break itself its $550 ... that's almost the price of both in the beginning.

Its a totally ripped off place, slimy, tricky. I would not recommended at all.

I purchased my Saab 2006 9-3 Aero Sedan not long ago and had the greatest car buying experience I have ever had there!  From the Sales Team and the Sales Manager, Kevin Jones and Steve Nickerson, they were great and did not push me into buying my Saab but assisted me in making an educated decision, in which I am glad I did.  Even the Service Department, led by Laura Wright and Mike Burley, exceeded all my expectations when I brought my new Saab in for a Major Service, I even got a loan car for the day at no extra charge!...All I can say is AWESOME JOB SAAB OF SANTA ANA!...I wish all business' were run the way they are!...My girl-friend especially like the Sales Person Chad, he was charming, well dressed, and knew his product line and its competition!...I will be referring many people to Saab of Santa Ana and will be buying my next car there no matter what!
