If I could give ZERO stars I would!  These people are the loop hole kings, and since they are constantly turning over management you never get to resolve an issue with the person you originally dealt with.  

When I left SF I had a credit on my account.  Since I had to  maintain my account to use the credit I put my membership on hold thinking I would use it when I was back in the summer, then end my membership.

That's not what happened.  My agreement says that the account reactivates without notice, which it it did and I managed to miss the start date.  Well, I'm out of luck with the new snotty accounts person, and guess what!  The people I dealt with don't work there any longer.  Apparently, because I didn't put my new address on this form there's nothing they can do to make me whole.  They just got my money . . . again.  

I think this location is a jumping off point for managers, so none, except for John,  of the many managers who are run through there care about the maintenance of the gym or the satisfaction of the customers.  Machines are moved around in a fashion that is not conducive to a good workout against the wishes of the regulars.  It seems that the focus is on selling additional products and services, rather than taking care of current customers.

During the month of August 2006, I have been enriching my personal yoga practice and yoga teaching skills by going on a 3 week yoga studio  tour of various yoga classes and yoga studios in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The first week of my tour included visiting the Yoga Teachers at Club One's Yerba Buena, Civic Center, Citi Group, and JCCSF locations.

While visitng Club One - Civic Center, here's what I found:

1.  If you are looking for an enchanting voice to guide you to a calm mind mixed with basic Hatha Yoga asanas & classical yoga knowledge. . . ..then, you should definitely check out Dee Benefield's yoga classes:
