Back for my yearly Mamm and I actually don't mind coming here.
First I park across the street at the Beverly Center and I just have to cross the street and the Imaging Center is right there (the most I have ever had to pay at BC is $3 but if you park in Cedar Sinai parking you can pay as much as $15 (a tip from one of my doctors years ago).
It has slightly changed inside since I was last there. Now as before you get in line for the reception desk which takes about 5 minutes. While in line there is a kiosk where if you are a germaphobe you can pick up a face mask and some hand sanitizer. http://www.yelp.com/bi...
Then once checked in they hand you your folder and you get into the registration line...about 5 more minutes
There they update paperwork and give you an wristband with your name and you wait in the waiting room...about 5 more minutes.
They called my name and checked my wristband to make sure they had the right person (some may not like this but I think making sure the mamm, xray or ultrasound not being mixed up is very important)
They take you to a dressing room and then you wait in a small waiting room http://www.yelp.com/bi... for the mamm technician about 5 more minutes.
The mamm tech comes and gets you and checks your wristband again then you have the awkward but necessary mamm. (For those who have not had a mamm they make you become a contortionist while squishing your boob...not painful just really uncomfortable).
It takes about 10 minutes...most of the time is just trying to get you to stand, move arms and head in right position.
Then it's over. You redress and they have another kiosk where they ask you a few questions on a screen how your experience was.
I was out within 25 minutes of my arrival and my parking was only $2.

Just top notch on every level. From the validated parking, to the spacious waiting room, every detail is carefully taken care of.
I had to have a treadmill (stress) test and I was nervous. Everyone put me at ease. There was a mix up with the referral which they handled smoothly and quickly.
The facility is clean and spacious. The personal attention paid to me by the friendly and warm staff is like nothing I've received in a medical facility. Every person I encountered was friendly, comforting and respectful. I was really impressed.
Having health insurance helps ease the pain, I'm sure if I was out-of-pocket, I'd think they were crooks.
