Absolutely terrible place. We went after we failed to find a brunch place that was actually open in this little town while passing through. We chose it because my brother's name is Ryan. The waitress was stressed out and, while ultimately nice, seemed very annoyed with us at first. The pancakes were tasteless. The hash browns were gummy. The potatoes tasted like paste. The people working there would argue with each other over tables. The bathrooms were truck stop-grade dirty (and not a nice Love's truck stop but a regular gritty truck stop). The food all looked like it had been sitting for a very long time. I guess that's what you get for a Ryan's?

I'm not sure what all the other bad reviews are talking about. I went here with my family and boyfriend 2 nights ago around 7 PM, maybe a little after and it was wonderful. The food was all fresh, hot, and delicious!! The staff was all nice, the place was pretty clean. The only thing I didn't like was it was freezing in there!! They said it was really hot in the kitchen so they turned the air on, but it was way to cold and that's the only reason I knocked them down a star. They have a good variety and very yummy pies and cookies and stuff. It was good, we will definitely be back, it may even be out new dinner spot. It was about $55 for 5 of us and we all got water. So it was a little pricy, but not to bad.

The food area was very dirty as well as the tables. the food was left out to long, so it was very dry and unappetizing. And the food I did see them bring out was just poured over the old food I have been to a ryans before at the Mt. Veron IL location and the difference is night and day! And would only rate ryans at this location in this manor. So you get what you pay for at ryans in marion. Poor food and poor service, couldnt even get our drinks refilled.

I understand that Ryan's is a low budget buffet, but the food here was just terrible. I come for the chicken mostly. I can find decent chicken at some Ryan's throughout the US, but this chicken was dry. Every piece I tried was dry and in short supply. The vegetables were OK and nothing else looked even decent enough to eat. I was going to have a baked potato until I saw how shriveled up they were. The hostess was nice, but that's expected. I agree with Steve H, don't waste your time or money here.

There is not much to add about the food. If you have ate at Ryan's then you know what it is about. This particular Ryan's had good service however.

I can remember when this place opened and it was an event for my family to take the kids out for an awesome meal. Several years later it's lost it's charm. The food is below average, even for a buffet, and the price is outrageous for the quality. The breakfast is ok but I would much rather enjoy some Bob Evans across the street. If your thinking about stopping in...don't.

The breakfast buffet is pretty good variety of food best time to go is before 10am. MOST OF the servers are awesome.. THE Steaks for the Dinner menu are ok. The bakery section on sundays definitely has left overs from breakfast such as dried out donuts . SOMETIMES it's just a hit or miss.

When I first moved to the area, last year it was decent at a low cost. Now the price has came up and food quality and taste straight downhill. Will not be coming back.
