At the recommendation of the shop where I bought my wedding dress, I took my wedding shoes here to be dyed to match. The man who works there is very nice. Truly. Unfortunately, the service they rendered wasn't equally good.
1. They didn't call me to tell me that the shoes were ready. I had to follow up with them, and while I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, anyone who has been through months of wedding planning will tell you that each little detail like that makes a difference.
2. The dye was off. Luckily, the dress was long, so the shoes didn't really show. And it wasn't as if they dyed the shoes green or something. The dress was "oyster" and the shoes started out "white" so with the dye, they ended up closer to oyster than before, but still not the match that I was hoping for.
