I have eaten at Ruth's Kitchen for as long as I can remember. They make some of the best kosher food I've had, ranging from the sweet and sour turkey meatballs to chicken schnitzels to kasha varnishkes to chicken lo mein to vegetable tempura. My folks lovethe turkey meatloaf too.
Last month, Ruth's Kitchen was turned over to new owners, who are keeping the name, and are using the same recipes for some things, but from what they told my parents and I, they will be adding kosher Persian items to the menu, and I surmise that they won't making some of the other things that Ruth and Carl had made.
I have not eaten here under the new ownership yet, just since I was here the week of Thanksgiving the day before the changeover, and as a student in Washington DC, I haven't had the chance to go back yet. Hopefully they've been able to maintain the high standards set by Ruth and Carl.
