4 reviews for Ruth's Chris Steak House
maybe the best restaurant in louisville. great view. great food. perhaps the greatest filet i've ever had. very juicy and tender. melts in your mouth. great view of all of louisville here. well worth the $. great service. very good sweet potatoes.
good for big groups. has an outdoor bar seating area. some of the best creme brulee too.
Okay, I had very high expectations heading in to Ruths Chris. Were they met? For the most part. I have to say, I love their steaks! It is a little pricy and it's a place that you can't go to twice a week(at least I can't) but on a special occasion, I love this place. Great atmosphere on top of the Kaden Tower and great service. One thing that surprised me was the sweet potato casserole. It is the best side dish that I have ever had! It is incredible. It is almost a dessert. Even if you don't like sweet potatoes, give it a try!! I have only had one sub par experience and the manager took great care of me.
Very nice location, at the top of a tower with a gorgeous view and outside terrace all the way around to walk out onto. The restaurant easily seated our large party of 7 and provided very good service, even when we stayed long past closing time. The server was well versed in wines and provided free desserts... probably due to the large bill we already racked up. All in all, a very nice experience for a Ruth's Chris, not necessarily what I'd consider a 5 star experience though.
It's Ruth's Chris. What else do you wnat to know? Great locale at the top of the Kaden Tower. Around Christmas they open up for lunch for a couple of weeks. The steaks were awesome, but I think I like the Lobster Bisque at Morton's better...
