I thought for sure I would be the first person to review this place. I love this store! It has such unique pieces that I haven't seen anywhere else. I have one of their bags, a green purse with spider chrysanthemum flowers and I get compliments on it all the time. I have dresses, skirts and scarves from there and love all the pieces.
They get stuff from small, obscure designers, so sometimes there may only be a couple of that style. I've had this problem where I see a piece I like but they don't have the size and won't get anymore. But that just means they get new stuff frequently and you're never going to run into anyone else wearing the same thing. I'm almost afraid to post this place is so cool.
The staff is also super nice and will go out of their way to accommodate you. I recently found out a co-worker of mine is friends with Mimo! My friend is uber-cool, progressive and kick-ass so, just by association I know Mimo is also amazing and I'm supporting an awesome establishment.
OMFuckingG!
I always find the best tights, fragrance, cards, shoes, skirts, girly kids clothes, plates!, knick knacks....whatever you are looking for this place has it. I love that they will find whatever you are looking for even if it takes more minutes than they can spare. I'm a huge Miso Pretty fan and the woman at the counter imformed me that they were expecting a shipment in a few days. I went back a few days later and there it was.
Check them.
i've been shopping at this hidden gem for years now. this is truly the place you wanna go to for that one-of-a-kind quirky (yes, quirky) outfit that you'll be wearing for years. i got a pair of amazing leather shoes that people stop me on the street to ask about. they also have a lot of sales, so it's best to keep coming back in order to snatch up these great pieces at a discount.
it's also great that the owners, who are sisters, can give you the history of each piece, the designer, etc. they seem to really love every one of their clothes, which are like individual works of art, and genuinely delight in showing customers how to best wear each piece.
