Yelp 365: 034/365
There are plenty of hamburger places around the island worth mentioning, but this burger house is also a sit-down restaurant with waiter service. I have tried most of their burgers here (even the veggie burger, I was curious), their other meats including chicken and fish, and had their salad bar on more times than I can recall.
Their salad bar is adequate. It does not compare to the one at Sizzler, but the main reason I get their salad bar is to put some green in my diet.
The drinks here are fine. I personally prefer the iced teas at Chili's and the booze here is really pricey so water is the drink of choice for this establishment.
The reason why I am giving them four stars is their service. Out of the (around) ten times I have been here, I have had three exemplary members of their wait staff serve me. They answer all of my questions without giving me the impression that my questions are ones repeated by most customers. Whenever they have suggested a particular burger (especially my new favorite: the pub burger) it has always delivered as the thing that made my day.
I will be back whenever that burger craze hits me and I want to spend a bit more for great service. Go on yelpers, let's all go burger crazy, and yelp back here and write more reviews displaying our YELP POWER!!! -

Ruby Tuesday's is usually a great experience. Except this location, this time...
First of all the hostess and the blonde lady manager were RUDE & had very little to say. All the manager wanted to do was look at my stroller like why am I bringing it in here. Well first off you're in the mall, what do you expect, and secondly you're EMPTY so put me in a corner!!!
The food is okay. The salad bar is the best part of this restaurant. The chicken in my chicken quesadilla was dry and hard.
The managers attitude is the reason I will not be back here. -
Review from Chris A.
I didn't know what to expect when my girlfriend and I decided to eat here; the only reason we went was because she received a gift card to eat at Ruby Tuesday. Considering that this restaurant has been here for a while, it was only natural of us to assume that the food was at least decent.
After my significant other and I placed our orders, we waited patiently for our shrimp fondue appetizer to arrive. While waiting, we observed customers customizing their own salads from the salad bar. We had the misfortune of witnessing a bottle of salad dressing fall to the ground, get stepped over, and then put back up on the bar as if nothing had happened. Imagine if it was the salad tongs. We finally got our shrimp fondue after fifteen minutes of waiting. The fondue itself was diluted and wasn't as thick and creamy as we would have liked it. We also don't know why it was called shrimp fondue because we didn't really have shrimp in our appetizer.
Our New Orleans Seafood entree, which consisted of creole-seasoned tilapia with sautéed shrimp and parmesan cream with sides of rice pilaf and broccoli was very disappointing. The piece of tilapia was very thin and only had five pieces of small shrimp on top--not very seafoody in our opinion. The classic barbecue baby-back ribs was equally disappointing because it was literally eating bone and sauce. There was barely any meat and it was only half a rack for a very expensive price ($20). If it wasn't for the loaded baked potato (which cost an extra dollar to have all the toppings), we would have walked out of there starving!
The only positive thing that I have to say about Ruby Tuesday was that our waiter, Travis, was very nice and accommodating. He stopped by several times to refill our waters and make sure that we were doing okay. -

Ended up here for dinner tonight with two other friends and was pleasantly surprised there was no wait since people were sitting outside. Service was a bit slow probably because they were low on staff.
Ordered the Parmesan Chicken Pasta and the chicken was fried similar to Chicken Katsu with plenty of cheese melted on top as the name suggests. The chicken did have a slight taste of seasoning from the batter, but still quite dry even with the melted cheese on top. Pasta was the straw type nothing extraordinary in taste, reminded me of Mac and Cheese.
Friends ended up ordering their ribs with a Mango Kiawe bbq flavor and was given the option to choose from half order (6-7 ribs) or full order (12-14 ribs) depending on the cut along with your choice of two sides. They said their ribs was soft to the point where the meat fell of the bone. A half order of ribs will set you back around $17 dollars and full rack around $23. Some side orders are a dollar more.
The waiter we had was nice and came around many times to check up. They had many TVs up on the walls which I found too small to really see the football game they were showing unless you view the one situated behind the bar.
It's an OK place, not worth waiting if there is a line. -

Dined there recently for dinner only because I had a coupon that was going to expire.
Ordered the fish special - grilled salmon with mango salsa over rice pilaf and my husband ordered the triple prime bacon cheddar burger with french fries.
The fish was delicious when eaten with the mango salsa. A very healthy dish where the rice pilaf was cooked perfectly and mango salsa was very tasty and flavorful.
On the other hand we were kind of disappointed with the size and taste of the burger. It was quite small that it could have been mistaken for a slider. The cost of the burger was $14 where you receive high quality beef, however, it lacked any flavor and seasoning. Also the french fries was a bit too salty.
Ended the evening with the Italian Creme Cake which was very moist and delicious. It is tasted more like a carrot cake but without the carrots. Had plenty of chopped walnuts and the cream cheese filling was sooooo good.
Overall the service was excellent and the food was okay. -

this place was AWFUL!! We got seated pretty fast but that was about the only good thing that came of the night. We ordered an appetizer; artichoke spinach dip which came out COLD.. and it was supposed to be a hot dip. Secondly my sister and I ordered the sparkling lemonade which was more sparkling then lemonade. I don't even remembered what I ordered which just goes to show you how lackluster their food is here. LASTLY if you wanted to come here for a romantic night out it might work for you since their restaurant was dimly lit but the restaurant had their AC on full blast and I was cold. Usually I'm not a cold person but I put on a sweater. I know we're in Hawaii but I don't want it to feel like I'm Alaska while I'm trying to eat my very disappointing meal here at Ruby Tuesdays.
Don't eat here.. go to another burger joint that conveniently located in the mall as well! -

It's been a while since last coming here. My wife didn't have a great impression of the place since we were last here a few years back but I told her, "hey let's give it a chance it was years ago". Beside, I know one of the owners so I had a vested interest in the success of the place.
Unfortunately the dinner we had left us with a bad impression,
- my wife's ribeye steak that was ordered as a "medium" came out about as thin and dry as my rubba slippah. At "12oz" it didn't even fill her...and she eats so little to begin with.
- my cajun shrimp pasta was disappointing. The shrimp was small and undergrilled. The marinara sauce was obviously paste from a can.
- salad bar? It's alright but nothing more than the normal basic essentials any salad bar should have.
For this price range there are a LOT of better choices around the island to get similar food at MUCH better quality. I guess it'll be another few years till we return to the place. The worse part about this experience? Dealing with my wife's "I told you so" glances on the way home. -

First time in this place. Never had the desire to come here but my friend was in the mood for a salad, that wuss. Metal drummer with Satanic tattoos on his body (he really does btw) and Jagermeister in his system 24/7 craving something "healthy" was the last thing I expected LOL.
Turkey burger with portobello mushroom and swiss for $11.99 was aight. It had that generic "restaurant gourmet burger" taste (vs. the really good kind), smaller in size than you were anticipating, with the typical soggy bottom bun appeal. Honestly, it wasn't bad but gawd forbid I ever pay this much for a wasn't bad burger again. Also, the fries that accompanied the meal was little in quantity and just too dang salty. Luckily Satan tattoos got the bill today.
Though the peach iced tea was actually kind of nice on this hot summer day. Floating mint leaf and bits of real (I think canned) peaches at the bottom of the taller than usual glass. Not exactly sure the price but I have a feeling it was close to $5 (with re-fills).
Probably the most interesting thing about this Ruby Tuesday was the ambiance. Dark like a irish pub, framed photos everywhere (we so happened to be sitting across the one with Tom Moffatt standing next to Elvis, from back in the day) and ultra chill. Almost too chill. Siesta after you eat chill, even if I will never eat here again. Staff was friendly and our server was upbeat and in fact, pretty hot but who cares.

Review from Ed L.
Came here last night, 08/30/11, after choosing between the Ruby Tuesday's, the California Pizza Kitchen, and the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, restaurants at the Ala Moana Shopping Center's Hookipa Terrace. This place is pretty good. First time to this location (in a long while). The place had good ambiance and having the restaurant in the shopping center. This place could be similar to Chili's, but Chili's may be better with their cajun entrees. Then again, my friend wanted this place.
We were seated almost immediately and the service was nice, but a bit slower than normal. Short staffed? Maybe. Good food, but I rather be in a steakhouse, pronto! -

How many stars do you give a dining experience that results in a trip to the emergency room?
The day started nicely enough, I watched Harry Potter with the missus and the inlaws and met up at Ruby Tuesday's Ala Moana for what was supposed to be a nice lunch. Neither of us had eaten breakfast, so we really pigged out on the salad bar.
An hour after eating there, we're shopping at Costco for a new floorlamp and I make a mad dash to the mens room, my intestines wringing and twisting in agony, as my lunch is forced out of me in a torrent of violent brown diarrhea. I'm not even embarassed by the awful smell or the terrible sounds it makes as it's coming out of me; I'm just glad to have it out of my system so the agonizing pain will stop. I cling to the railing in the stall until my knuckles turn white, cursing my foolish decision for eating at Ruby Tuesday. I'm in there so long the missus texts me, "Are you okay?" But no I am clearly not okay and my stomach is wrecked, my bowels are ravenged and my dignity has made its way out my rectum and into the toilet.
About an hour later we're at home and I'm feeling better, but the missus is starting to feel sick to her stomach. She's making multiple trips to the bathroom, and has no appetite so she skips dinner. In the early evening she's throwing up bits of partially digested burger and salad bar. I hold her hair back as she's retching over and over, her body trying to expell the toxins. Bile and chunks fill the sink and I fish it out with my bare hands just to keep it from clogging. She is exhausted, and looking rather pale and gaunt. She says she feels dizzy, like she's about to faint or black out.
Between the throwing up and diarrhea she lost so much liquid we take her in to the emergency room to get an IV. And that's where we've been for the past four hours.
Thanks Ruby Tuesdays Ala Moana for poisoning us with your food. That is after all, why they call it Food - Poisoning. -

Ruby Tuesdays are known for their Finger Licking Ribs! And thats about the only thing I order and the endless salad bar!
This location is usually not the busiest restaurant compared to the others at the Ho'okipa Terrace at Ala Moana Shopping Center. This wouldn't be my first choice as well, we came here with my bf and his family to celebrate his sister and dads birthdays. We got seated really quickly and our waiter was on top of his job. He asked us for our drink orders as soon as we sat down, then gave us time to decide on our food orders.
If I was rating the service of this place it would be 4.5-5 stars but what they really need to work on is their food. Its not that the food is really bad its just that its not something that I would not dream about like all the other places. I don't think "oooh i want to go to Ruby Tuesdays and get the ribs", umm yep negative. You can get the half rack or full rack, if you get a full rack you can choose two different types of sauce. I usually get the mango kiawe sauce and it is good. However I think its just basic american food that I can get anywhere else and for a lot cheaper!
Then we ordered a chocolate cake and specifically told our waiter that we were celebrating two birthdays, so another waiter comes and gives us the cake without any candles. So his mom asks for some candles and can you believe it, they don't have any! Or no special singing, no comp dessert, nothing! At least we know that if you want to celebrate your birthday and enjoy the embarrassing singing, don't come here.
Anyway ending this review on a positive note, I got a coupon from my co-workers son fundraiser, Buy 1 entree and get the 2nd free! Yeah score! -

Normally Ruby Tuesdays isn't my first pick when eating at Ala Moana but me and my friends had gift cards to use up so we decided to eat here for a Thursday night.
So upon arrival (6:30ish) our party of four was seated immediately and our waiter came up to us with waters and menus almost immediately. It was moderately busy and I was surprised at how attentive the waiters were. Throughout the night our waters never reached half full and our food came reasonable fast.
We decided to try the triple sampler appetizer http://www.yelp.com/us... which had four pieces of fried mozzarella, four chicken strips, and a small bowl of fries covered with cheese, bacon, and sour cream. In my opinion this was better than my main course. The mozzarella sticks were piping hot and I loved the honey mustard sauce.
For my main entree I ordered the triple prime burger with bacon and cheddar cheese http://www.yelp.com/us.... The burgers are said to be cooked at medium but my burger was more well done...and it was rather dry. Pretty disappointing. Plus I didn't want to return my food because you never know what happens when you send food back! As for the fries...well they were so-so, I wish it came with more. For spending about $14 I wished I just ordered a sampler appetizer instead (which is a few dollars cheaper).
So overall the service is quite excellent. But the food is just meh. It wasn't nothing spectacular or remember-able. As for the price...I don't know if I would be willing to pay for that again (if I didn't have a gift card). But it was okay. -

Our server, the wonderful and beautiful Krista and the salad bar were the only 5 stars I could give. Krista was very fast, efficient and friendly - possibly the best server I ever had. The salad bar was great as usual but the entrees were terrible. There is something wrong with the cooks in the kitchen We had 3 entrees and 2 appetizers from ribs to pasta to shrimp. The ribs were soooo dry I had to give it to my dog. The shrimp tasted like popcorn shrimp. I must say the quality of the entrees has been going down for the past 2 years. The hostess was very friendly but we come here for the food. The owners and general manager should take a very close look at their cooks and start reevaluating what's coming out of the kitchen. Terrible. We won't be coming here anymore.

This place is great, courtesy of our server, Kris ( or maybe Chris?). Idk how her name was spelled but, she's a she -- very nice and always had that smiley face from when we were seated to when we left. We were very satisfied, I might add.
The food here is better than Denny's, for sure. Pricey but good enough.
As for dessert, double chocolate cake, FTW!!!!!! :) -

Delicious and perfectly crafted burgers. Sit at the bar. Salad bar is fresh and plentiful. Always a good spot for that mainland-back-at-home feel.
One thing I will note since I am a former mainland-er. Ruby Tuesday in Hawaii does not offer the unlimited fries, or even the newest menu and restaurant decor. It's kind of like going back a few years, but always kinda in a good way. -

Always good service.
Always good food.

And the fancy cocktails are really good, and usually pretty strong.

My mom and I come here whenever we want to eat something at Ala Moana.
Over the years, I've tried an abundance of things, from the burgers and pastas, to the fish and desserts. Everything I've ever had has been consistently delicious, which I like. Usually when I like a place and frequent it, I find it has like a sophomore slump or something, but I have never once thought that about Ruby Tuesday.
The pastas are hearty and great, though I think the portions have shrank a little. Or maybe it just looks different on new plates, and seems like less? Either way, it's still a lot of food, and can easily be taken home. The burgers are good too, very, very juicy!
However, I usually get the fish now, since I'm trying to be a bit healthier. It comes with brown rice pilaf and a side of broccoli. It's a perfect size, and it leaves you feeling full, but not bloated! The desserts on the other hand, are something else. I've had the chocolate cake with ice cream, but my favorite has to be the strawberry dessert. I haven't seen it on the menu the last few times I went, but we always order it, and they always make it for us! It's a puff pastry with vanilla ice cream, tons of fresh strawberries, and this magnificent strawberry sauce all over.
I wish I could marry that dessert.
The service has been on and off. I've been ignored by the hostesses countless times, and sometimes they can be rude, but for the most part, the waiters and waitresses I've had have all been pleasant. The last two times I went, I had this blonde waiter, and he was perfect. My glass of water was always filled, he wasn't annoying, came at the perfect times to take our order, and somehow read my mind and got me a take out box before I asked. Whenever I come for lunch, I always ask if he;s working, because he doesn't disappoint, and most certainly makes up for whatever attitude the hostesses give me. -

Heard on the radio that they served breakfast. Dropped by at 10.30am. Sure enough got a breakfast menu. But WTF. They don't serve breakfast at Ala Moana location. Why give me a breakfast menu at all then. And is it really that difficult to serve breakfast? Anyway had crab cake burger and fries for breakfast. It was good but it wasn't bacon and eggs. Wife had chicken pot pie. Puff pastry and sauce was good but overloaded with carrots.

So far, this is my favorite Ruby Tuesday's on the island. I've come here multiple times and I have yet to have a bad visit. I've come here for dinner with friends or girlfriend, and lunch for meetings with the boss. The service has always been quick and accurate, water glass never empty, and they're always willing to recommend something new to me if I look like I'm lost in their maze of a menu.
I usually get the burger and cheese fries but that's so incredibly greasy. I guess that's why I favor American food the least. When I'm not looking to clog my arteries, I go for the pasta which is a lot lighter, or the all you can eat salad and soup bar.
That in itself is a great deal. And even better for lunch. You don't want to go back to work with your stomach full of oil and cholesterol from bacon and cheese right?
Highly recommended. I received some gift cards for Ruby's for Christmas so I'll see you guys soon!Listed in: Where to eat in Ala Moana

I really like the Grand Slam Sampler. It has special memories for me :)
We went last night at the request on our 7 year old. The food is ok, but like I mentioned the Grand Sampler is what we always get.
The reason for the YELP is because of our waiter JOHNNY!!!! Excellent service. He was friendly not to the point of irritating. He was always coming back to check on all the tables in our area and never once showing signs of impatience. He joked with our little one and said, this sprite is on me since you are such a gentlemen. Now that is a way to get your customers back is impressing the kid. We all know the kids are the BOSS!!!
BTW, the SANGRIA is the BOMB!!! you have to try it. Ruby Tuesday is the only one I will drink. I order it wherever we go to see if they come close to Ruby and they dont. -

Service was good and salad bar was descent. Not as good as Fresh Choice or Red Tomatoe.
The place was very cold and dark, which was nice change from the weather outside. Service was good.
I have to back to try the $6.00 daily drink special. -

On a whim, we went to have lunch at the Ruby Tuesday at Ala Moana...never again....ever.
When we walked in, the fist thing that popped into my head was the movie "Waiting...". Not the most appetizing first impression for me personally.
After forcing myself not to think about what might be going on back there in the kitchen, we ordered our food and drinks from one of the most monotone and unenthusiastic waitresses I have ever encountered. Not that she was rude, but damn, the vibe she gave off even made me depressed.
Then the food came...gross. Over cooked hamburger. WAY to oily fries. Just gross.
Lets just say I wont be going back. Ever. To each his/her own.
Oh, one last rant. While we were there, it must have been a change in shift from the lunch crew to the dinner, but talk about unprofessional. There were employees laying down on the booths toward the back, but in plain sight of everyone. Who lets employees do this?! -
Review from Kim M.
Let's get things straight. I like Ruby Tuesday... BUT, their service is not the greatest.
One afternoon, my boyfriend and I were craving their salad bar after a nice, long run. We were seated promptly. It was pretty empty in there, so we were excited because we thought service would be quick. We were unfortunately VERY wrong. My boyfriend had pretended to fall asleep, hoping to draw the attention of the servers. FAIL.
We waited for about 10 minutes for a server to even greet us and bring us water. I felt bad because it looked like the bartender was the only one working! He was our server and the server for 3 or 4 other tables as well. But I spotted 3 or 4 other workers (looked like servers to me) just standing around talking.
We definitely took care of our server that day.
They get 1star for inconsistent service and 2 more because their food is pretty decent. I like their salad bar. Everything looks good and fresh. They try to keep the salad bar area clean, unlike some other all-you-can-eat salad bar places I've been to.
I like their option to get an entree w/ either soup or salad bar. Their entree portions are pretty generous, and of course I usually opt for the salad bar.
BTW, the texture and taste of the CROUTONS are outstanding. I always think about bringing a small snack-size zip-lock bag to take some croutons on the go...(shhh!) BUT I never follow through because I'd feel bad about stealing from their salad bar. They trust us enough to have an all-you-can-eat salad bar! Must not break that trust!
I like their pot pie. It's flaky, and it comes with a side of steamed vegetables. I also like those mini burgers. They're so cute and they taste pretty good! Their white bean chicken chili is phenomenal and it's something different. I also hear it isn't packed with a billion calories either. Sometimes, I grab a little extra cheese from the salad bar to put into my chili. hehe.
Overall, this place is good. I just wish the service was a little better.Listed in: Midday Meals, Wet Foods

3 stars for the restaurant overall - prices, food quality etc.
4 stars for the all you can eat salad bar - it's nice & fresh
5 stars for those home-made-fried-in-butter/crack-that's-why-they're -so-dang-addicting croutons at the salad bar!!!!!
No lie, I go to Ruby Tuesday only for those gosh darned croutons. They're HELLA good. Warm, salty, buttery, crunchy and soft? YUMMMMM.
Everything else is what you'd expect of a mainland chain. Nothing is bad, nothing stands out either. Very middle of the road. Although my husband's baby back ribs were pretty tasty but for the price, I could BBQ my own ribs and feed not only myself but a Filipino family of 5. And not the the small kine Filipinos, my fams da big boned variety. =)
Pros:
-A fresh, all you can eat salad bar. It doesn't have a ton of selections but just having that option is great. It's VERY rare in Hawaii.
-Their croutons!!!!!
-The lunch combo meals, they serve it all day
-Our servers were really nice and accomodating
Cons:
-Pricing; it's a chain restaurant, you pay more for their decoration, smaller portions and mediocre but tasty food. -
Review from Liz T.
Ruby Tuesday isn't anywhere near the top of my hit-up list, but this is my 10-year-old cousin's favorite restaurant and her mom was treating tonight. I don't know why chains are so taboo on Yelp--California Pizza Kitchen and the Cheesecake Factory give them a decent if not good name.
Anyway, we began with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, which weren't jumbo but were admittedly tasty with a spritz of lemon. The spicy aioli served was nice, too. I got the Mango Kiawe Ribs, recommended to me by mako h., which didn't taste like mango but as he mentioned was so tender it fell right off the bone. Mmmmoist. I should NOT have subbed the default baked potato for healthier mashed potatoes--I was literally eyeballing bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and hot tatties the whole time. Hehehe.
The burgers looked like winners and everyone who ordered the sirloin enjoyed it. The bill ended up being $160 for 6 people--who knew Ruby Tuesday was that pricey? I probably won't return anytime soon with the 87 other dining options in Ala Moana, but Ruby Tuesday was much better than I had expected. It's definitely a kid-friendly place--the adult-to-monster ratio is something like 1:4. =P -

Ruby Tuesday is your run of the mill national chain that showcases its interpretation of American fare. This particular location at Ala Moana gets a few extra points for its somewhat upscale appearance. It loses more points for playing classic backstreet boys...at least play semi-new backstreet boys!
The food is decent and nothing to sneer at, yet nothing that makes you come back for more. The burgers are decent. The chocolate brownie ala mode was a bite of heaven though. Not going to lie...brownies with ice cream win points in my book.
The service is decent...not wow, but decent.
A-Ok is the best way to describe it....Listed in: Burger: It's just so much…

My son wanted to eat here so we complied, boy what a mistake THAT was! Since they had a salad bar, I opted for that as nothing on the menu appealed to me except the buffalo chicken wings.
When I got to the salad bar I realized that it was probably too cold there and some of the vegetables had that 'over cold' look to them. The cucumbers were soggy on one side and some of the stuff looked like it hadn't been replaced for many many hours. I took what looked palatable and proceeded ahead.
The buffalo wings arrived soaked in hot sauce. I had ordered them "HOT" but just didn't expect them to be mouth puckering sour as well. By the time I got to the 2nd wing, my lips were all tingly and my mouth was starting to 'wrinkle up' inside. I wasn't able to continue. When I asked what kind of hot sauce they used no one knew. The response was it says "Ruby Tuesday" on the bottle. It sure tasted like the 50 cent hot sauces available at the grocery store.
But on the plus side, the iced tea had free refills and after yesterday's fiasco with the iced tea, I happily downed 3 glasses. I wasn't sure if it was due to the quenching of the tartness in my mouth or that I was just so thrilled with Travis (our server) topping up my glass whenever it was empty.
Hubby had a turkey burger with blue cheese which, wasn't on the menu per se. The original was a beef pattie which he substituted for turkey. Travis was happy to do that and hubby said it was really tasty although when I took a bite, once again there was that tart taste (pickles) again.
Little guy had the pizza bread which were 2 slices of Texas style toast with pepperoni and cheese. Rather tasty but extremely greasy! His sweet treat came in the form of a Breyer's popsicle.
When I mentioned to Travis that the wings were too sour to be palatable, at first he was a bit unsure what I wanted to do. He asked me if I wanted to box them and I gave him a blank stare. "Box them" I thought... I can't eat them so why would I want to take them home. I was waiting to see what management would do about it so I patiently waited on an answer. Finally, Travis informed me that they took it off the bill. OK, that was more like it. After all, at happy hour prices, the wings came to $5 and if they didn't take it off the menu, I would have to give them 0 stars!
The only reason they even got the 1 star was because the service was agreeable and friendly even though the food sucked big time. I've never been a fan of chain restaurants but hey, it's Sunday and I wanted to let my son have his way today. You won't ever find me frequently Ruby Tuesday ever again, that's for sure! -

A veritable poster child for Alien Chain Mystique. Like Sonic, they advertise heavily on basic cable, and while nominally open in 90% of the country, their locations get pretty sparse when you leave the southeast.
This one in Honolulu was the first I'd ever seen in person, and so I naturally checked in. I knew what to expect, but couldn't suppress a little letdown after so many years. It's really just another junk-on-the-walls dinner chain with a full bar. Like its brothers, most of the menu could be served at any one of them.
Exhibit A: I had the turkey burger sliders, which were thoroughly adequate. Even among the chains, Chili's, Red Robin, or Islands easily outdoes them on turkey burgers. With happy-hour drink-prompting, I did order the signature drink of Honolulu: the overpriced mai-tai, which if nothing else made getting away from Ala Moana more entertaining than it would have been, otherwise.Listed in: Alien Chain Mystique

First of all, the only reason I came here was because my friend insisted on eating here and I was dumb enough to let her talk me into it. I would never go to eat at a place like Ruby Tuesday but since I was craving for a salad bar buffet, and she said this place had a good one, I again was dumb enough to listen to her...SUCKAAAAAAAA!!!
I left feeling disgusting and unfortunately we blew about 70 bucks here for 3 people and left unhappy. Never will I ever go to Ruby Tuesdays again!!!! Hell NO. They have "Happy Hour" and that probably the only time you can get something at a decent deal.. I still think the food is mediocre. 2 Stars and 2 thumbs down!!! BOOOOOO!!!!!! Better to go to Island's Burgers and get a burger with all you can eat fries.. ( although I dont recommend you eat that much french fries cause its not very healthy 4 ya)..But way better deal than Ruby Tuesday. -

Went to have lunch on Monday. I was feeling under the weather, but the broccoli cheese soup was very soothing. I had the pomagranate lemonade which was ok. A little too sour for me.
The service was excellent. Friendly knowledgable greeter and waiter.
My friend had the three assorted mini burgers and fries. I had a bite of the turkey burger. Yum! Always a winner.
Its a soothing American meal when you need one. -

Okay lunch started out well, we were seated quickly and the waitress was very kind. We started with the cheesy fries. It's your typical French fries with cheddar cheese, bacon bits and some sour cream. Nothing really special, plus the dish wasn't really hot so the cheese hardened really fast. After the app, I had the chicken sanora pasta and my cousin had the chicken parm pasta. My pasta as well as my cousin's was very cheesy just from looks alone. My pasta, which was recommended by the waitress, was not bad because it had roasted tomatos, but the cheese still overpowered the dish, the chicken was dry and the black beans seemed put of place. My cousin's pasta was almost half cheese. After he was done, it looked like he only ate half the dish, but he showed me that the remaining glob was all cheese.
The last thing that bothered me a lot was when the waitress filled my water, she only filled it with water...NO ICE! Apparently they don't use ice in there water pitchers. I'm always hesitant to go to ruby Tuesdays. For what you get, you pay way too much in my opinion. Next time I take my cousin to lunch, I'm choosing the location.
