I've gone here a number of times, and I've been happy with the service.  They check in the car fast, and get you on your way.  I wish there were more cafes near by, but that's not really their fault.

Today I went in because my brake light went out, and I've tried replacing it before with drastic results.  Replacing a bulb on a Toyota may be easy, but not on an Audi!  So I took it in today, to fix the rear brake light, and also top up the washer fluids and oil.

It took all of 10 minutes while I waited, and I was stunned when I asked how much it would cost and the guy just said, "Don't worry about it!"  No charge for the light, or service hours...I dunno, maybe I'm just used to being charged for everything these days, but I left with a smile on my face.  4 stars.

Wow. I saw the previous post and so dearly wish I'd gotten that kind of treatment. Instead, my requests to show me how to operate something in my relatively new car as well as my numerous requests left via voicemail to please call me back, were all ignored.

One of the issues that I brought my car in for was ignored, in fact I was told there was no problem despite everyone else who's been in my car being able to notice it easily.

The worst part was their calling to say my car was ready to pick up, my bf going down there to get it only to be told, "woops, we don't have the key," and being sent home with a rental for the weekend -- and then getting a call the next day saying it was ready (again, apparently with key), but now the rental place was closed, so I had to wait 2 more days and go down there again.

Then when I did finally get to actually get my car, it has a pretty bad scratch on the door. Are you f-ing kidding me?

The service guy said they'll fix it if I bring it down AGAIN a week from today.

You're damn skippy I got that in writing, because pardon me for having no trust in people who never called me back, ignored my requests, lost the key to my car, and damaged it while it was in their possession.

This place should be shut down.

So I went in for my 60,000 mile maintenance and had yet another great experience.  Only this time I've got to give them 5 stars instead of 4.

I had a several concerns going in, two of them being the AC strength and pulsing at the brake pedal.  Neither was too horrible, but I guessed that I was probably low on AC juice and my rotors might be close to their wear limit.  Low and behold, not only were both within spec, but Jim and the techs at Royal Motors didn't recommend any preventative maintenance (read - more money).

To me, this is a sign of a good service department.  Once your car gets past it's all around warranty this is exactly what you should look for in a maintenance facility, if you ask me.  Parts have an average mean time to failure, and are engineered that way.  Replacing them early/often is a waste unless you're on a space shuttle or racing at very high levels, blah, blah, blah.  Really, the point is that without having a clue whether I knew anything about auto work Jim and Royal Motors were very fair, quick, and as usual very professional.

Oh, and when I get my car back I usually do a go over in the next day or so to check battery terminals, oil caps, etc.  I have never to this day had an issue with Royal Motors, and that usually means they have attentive techs.

Audi shop was great! Volvo repair....forget about it. Unless you're able to educate them what the problem is, it'll take mudh longer. Mechanics are great, service coordinators should be working at a fast food 2nd class join. Managers are unnecessary! Coudn't helpNOR would they even allow Volvo field reps to be contacted.

I've been using these guys for years now to repair and service my cars and have only got around to yelping them today. I can't understand why they have many bad reviews - are we Audi owners so difficult to please? I've always had the same experience, I call them - they are nice to me, I come in - they are nice to me, we have a chat about the car, we have maybe have another chat the car and hey presto the car gets fixed - pretty much what you want to happen at a repair shop. They don't try to rip me off either, I went in last year because I thought my brakes were going and they added brake fluid and sent me home without a charge, they did take most my self esteem that day though but if I was a mechanic I wouldn't need those guys! I recommend them all the time and I'm only letting my car near Audi experts!!!

Before I start this review, I have to be honest and say that a few years back I had a less than stellar experience with Royal Motors, and started bringing my Volkswagen to the independents. But after receiving a recall notice for my 07 Audi A4 recently, I decided to give them another try, and must say that my faith in this dealership has been restored.

After making an appointment, I brought my car in the following day and was greeted by service adviser Frank Lee. After telling him about the recall on my vehicle, as well as an issue I was having with my iPod interface, he noted that it was also time for my 35,000 mile service, and promised me that everything could be completed by 5pm that day, and had the office call a cab for me so I could get to work.

About 3pm the same day I got a call from Frank saying that everything had been completed, all at no cost to me. I showed up around 5, and when my car was delivered to me it had not only been repaired, but washed and vacuumed as well. It was all a totally painless experience, and I think I will be returning to Royal Motors in the future, even when my car is out of warranty.

I gotta tell ya, I was a bit hesitant taking the car to the dealer for repairs.  Typically the dealer charges more because they have so much overhead that they need to cover and supposedly they are the experts.

Anyway they seem to have an open drive up policy until 10am, and I was in dire straights because my radiator seemed to be leaking and they were the only ones that could look at the car that day.  I usually go to Advanced Autowerks on Michigan.  They did take care of me right away and called me with the estimate and had it done when they said they would.  The service manager (Marta) was extremely nice and knowledgeable.  The facility was also extremely clean.

Of course they did find another problem that they said they could schedule to bring in.

One thing that annoyed me was the person who needed to get my car was texting while I was at the cashier stand so the customer service person had to call his name a few times to get his attention to get my car and as he was pulling my car up he was talking on his cell phone.  He got out and took the key with him.  He gave it back right away but this annoyed me for some reason.

Again, I got great service and the only reason why this doesn't get 5 stars is because of the price.  I paid $39 for a new hose, $30 for radiator coolant and then a whopping $340 for labor.  $180 for initial investigation and then $160 to make the repair.  I expected this and afterall it was a same day service without and appointment.

Thanks Royal

I used to go here when I lived in SF and had okay experiences (minus always feeling like I way overpaid). Well, now I live in Oakland but work in SF, so I had a choice between Royal and VW of Oakland for my 20,000 mile service. I called Royal for a quote. $540. WHAT. I figured it would be around $300, but over $500? I called VW of Oakland. They quoted me $156. Guess where I went. The service at VW of Oakland was great. They were nice, offered a shuttle to BART, and the price was exactly what they quoted. I don't think I'll be going back to Royal. They just charge too much.

This place is HORRIBLE.  My other half takes his Audi here for repair and maintenance.  They completely overcharge their customers and replace parts that they don't need to.  Once, we took the Audi in for maintenance and also wanted to change the wiper blades.  They wanted to charge $50 just for the wiper blades and then ended up arguing with them.  $50 for new wipers? That is completely ridiculous.

Our final straw with them was when the Audi needed a new timing belt.  Audi recommends that the timing belt be replaced at around 45k miles.   The Audi was brough in for service at around 75k after missing the last service time, and they ended up not doing the 75k service and forgot to check the status of the timing belt.  They also wanted to charge $2,200-$2,500 to replace the timing belt and "other parts".  We were pissed and got a quote from another repair shop which happily replaced the timing belt and those other parts for roughly $650 including labor.  Those jerks also wanted to charge another rough $2k to replace the clutch, which was confirmed that it didn't need replacing just yet.

Also, it costs money for them to diagnose the car.  I believe we paid around $170 just for them to look at the car to see what was wrong.

I know nothing about cars, except mine gets me from point a to point b.

A brake light went on on my dashboard, I called them up on a monday morning, they told me to bring it in.

I did, he took one look at it and smiled and said, that just means your tail light is out. Ill fix it for you while you wait, and just charge you for the bulb.

Of course I had no cash and asked if he would take a CC, he said not to worry about it, and that it was easiest for anyone to just swap out the bulb.

So although all they did was replace a tail light, they proved to me they are honest and about customer service.

I'll be bringing my car back to them next time, and recommending them to others.

They are nice enough here, but seriously every time i take my car there for service, somehting goes wrong!!  The first time, they wrecked it! And now it has been in and out of their shop every week for the third week!  I take it in, they say its fine and a day or so later some other warning light goes off! They seem like they don't have much knwledge of Audi and im plain sick and tired of trecking the car to and from the service center!

Go to Audi of Oakland...they are amazing!  wonderful service, always fine after taking it and a really nice job washing it!! They are the best...in all honesty..the drive to Oakland isn't that bad and WORTH the toll!!!!!

Royal motors is a bit sketchy.  My old Audi had a security malfunction, preventing it from starting.  I took it into the shop and they told me it would be all good within a few days.  It took them nearly 2 and half weeks to finally get the parts shipped from Europe, and only reimbursed part of the rental fee.  I give them 2 stars only because they let me a have a loaner for the second half.

***Also, I was recently in the market for a new car.  I ended up creating  a price war between Rector and Royal over the same car that Rector had.  I'll spare Royal's salesmen, but he was quite the hard seller, and my gut always gave me a bad feeling with him from the start.  He wrote cheesy emails about "screaming deals" and tried to sell me several other cars that I just did not want.  Come to think of it, I had another salesmen from the dealership do the same thing to me a few months earlier.  Give me a break, if i tell you I want a certain year and certain mileage, or certain size, or certain engine- DON'T SHOW ME SOMETHING ELSE!

I go to Rector now and have been super pleased.  George and Hector have taken great care of me down there.

I called the parts department for a replacement part for my Audi.  The guy I spoke to seemed pleasant enough but was clearly distracted.  Since the part needed to be special ordered and pre-paid, he wanted me to do so in person, which requires two trips to the dealer?!  I then suggested I pay over the phone using a credit card.  Evidently this was too much for him to handle.  Sadly, he met my expectations -- after telling me he'd call back to get my credit card info, I'm still waiting for the call.

Like most teenagers I got my license when I was 16. I got to drive my parents 1990 toyota corolla (stick shift too!) and when I graduated high school they continued to let me drive, even take it to college. Problem is, I'm one of those annoying girls that really knows nothing about cars (however I at least pump my own gas) so imagine my horror the day I was driving home from the mall and my car just died. I was so freaked out and my dad was the LAST person I wanted to call but I had no choice. So turns out my car was out of oil and I was in big trouble for not checking. Thankfully it didn't kill the engine I was one lucky girl.
Since then, its been very important to me to know of a place I can take my car. 11 years later I still don't know much about what to do to my car, or how to fix it but at least I know of a place to take it: Royal Motors. Very helpful and reliable, the best part is they will be upfront with you and not try to sell you stuff you don't need. Yeah, I'm that girl that sales people dream of because I have no clue if I really need it or not but thankfully Royal doesn't take advantage of girls like me!
Their customer service is great and very helpful and most importantly I don't feel intimidated at all.

I have quite a few friends who have Audis and I recommend Royal Motors to them. I've even told a few coworkers that have Audis to go there.

And for buying cars too! Right now my mom is shopping around for a new car, and I told her to come visit me and we will make a trip to Royal Motors to test drive cars.

Have taken my car there quite a few times and will continue going. Keep up the good work Royal Motors. And a HUGE thank you to all the Mechanics!! You guys are great! :)

I can appreciate how a car purchase is a very unique experience, so perhaps that is why this place has 2 stars for reviews. However, as a woman who has no desire to go car-shopping, and who hates being harassed by car salespeople, I had a very positive repeat experience at Royal Motors- specifically with Evelynn Holtz.

I cannot sing the praises of Evelynn too highly. She is the internet manager for the Audi side. She is kind, considerate, funny, honest and a complete pleasure to deal with. I also dealt with Robert in financing, and he was also wonderful.

On a personal note, I was so pleased to deal with a woman of color, as a woman of color. It made a huge difference to my car purchasing experience.

Jerks....I took it there, they do a whole bunch of stuff on warranty. one week later my light goes off for low oil. I take my car to the pennzoil oil service on 19th and they found leaks and other problems that royal motors did not find the week before (or were they there before I took it to royal motors???). brought back to the spot and they fixed it under warranty.

Another time I was just trying to get a battery for my key (auto lock/open) and they tell me they have to have my VIN # to properly sell me the damn battery. 2 batteries for VW passats...matters which model you have. FINE!!!! just sell me the one that looks like it'll work. The guy eventually did, but made me feel like an ass for not bringing my car or pink slip with me just to get a freaking key battery. Looking at other reviews it looks like they like to play games with getting keys copied and batteries replaced and stuff. save yourself the headache and just buy the key part online.

JERKS!

I come here to get my VW Golf serviced. They have a nice, clean waiting area with wide-screen cable TV but you are not there for very long anyway because they are so fast with minor services, especially on a Saturday. If you call you can usually get an appointment the next day.. but I've come in without an appointment before and they were able to help me anyway!

-1 Stars.   BEWARE.  Horrible service. Inconsistent stories about what's wrong with your car.  Expensive prices and shoddy work.  Royal Motors service center will lie to you and attempt to swindle you.  I know enough about cars to understand when a service staff is quoting on unnecessary repairs and trying to avoid repairs that are clearly under warranty.  Do NOT go here unless you want to deal with a condescending staff that quotes on unnecessary service at a ridiculous premium.  I have reported them to the BBB.

this review is for the service department, which is anything but "royal."

if you're reading this, you already know to stay away from this place.  flat out, don't go.  mine was a terrible experience that appears from these reviews to be all too common.

bottom line, royal had my car for four weeks to repair damages from a collision.  after vague status updates and several outright misrepresentations on the phone, after a month i learned they hadn't even started on the repairs.  i ended up towing my car to another (recommended) body shop, where i was treated with candor and courtesy, and had my car fully repaired promptly.

IMHO, the folks at royal are not trustworthy, and i would stay away.  how this business continues to stay open in this economy with these kind of customer experiences is beyond me.

Very nice service staff, always very professional.  They will fix little things for you if you just drive in and ask  FOR FREE!  That really doesn't happen anymore.  I have gone in twice now for little things I was planning on getting a part and trying to fix myself, fuse and headlamp bulb, and the service advisor fixes them for me while I pay.  So nice. Worth coming back to them for the dreaded 50K tune up.  I have been in for oil changes too, they are always nice and on time. I will be back royal motors thanks for the service.

I have been a customer of Royal Motor Service for several years now. The labor fee is high but worth it for me to take my VW to a place that knows what they are doing. The mechanics are helpful and friendly. Chris Fung has helped me out on most of my service appointments.

I recently went in to replace one tire and the cost of the tire was reasonable -- compared to others in the SOMA area.

They even wash your car for you which us a plus. You will want to check out their online service coupons to save money.

BEWARE of this place!!! (I agree 0 stars should be an option)

I went for a repair here, they gave me an estimate of almost $600 and claimed I needed various replacement parts.  I then took my car to Advanced Audi and they fixed it in ONE DAY for $250 (and it turns out none of the parts Royal Motors claimed needed replacement actually did).

I had two previous experiences, the first time they claimed the instrument cluster needed replacing for over $400 to fix a faulty gas gage.  Then days later, my lights failed and I needed another repair.  I'm not sure what is going on with this place, but in my opinion this is NOT a reputable repair shop.  They wash your car and claim to give you discounts, but this is a joke if you're spending hundreds extra for unnecessary repairs.

From my experiences, it seems this place is either ridiculously negligent or intentionally performs unnecessary repairs to make money.  Look at other Yelper's experiences and draw your own conclusions.

i think they're trying to ki** me ...
The caveat is true, if  your car is off-warranty, do NOT ever bring it back to the dealer, or any dealer for that matter, that's what Yelp is for, just find the best independent service provider out there based on real people's experiences.
And I sincerely believe that these guys tried to ki** me!
If you do bring your car in for an oil change, just make sure they plug the alternator cable back in, 'nuff said!

First off, I don't have any issue with the quality of service.

I have a big problem paying $250 for little more than an oil change.  I took my 2008 GTI there for it's 10,000 mile service (oil change, brake check, fluid check, tire rotation, etc.).  It's a very minor service.  I am appalled at the price that they charged for such a minor service, and will not go back to find out what a major service would cost.  I wanted to like them, but I cannot justify that sort of markup on service.

I'm giving Advanced Audi Volkswagen a try next time.

I happen to work in a professional surgeons office and I know what it takes to be customer oriented. I don't know what all the complaints are about but I must say the customer service is superior. Everytime I bring my 09 Audi wagon in I get greeted by Chris Sung, Frank Lee, and Johnny Liu. I couldn't ask for a better service than that. My car always get the best TLC and the mechanic's know their stuff. I think diagnosing a car is a tough job and this is the place to bring your car. I would highly recommend all my family and freinds to Royal Motors.

terrible. brought my car in for a $350 scheduled maintenance. they couldn't figure out how to turn off some warning lights or fix my headlights. the car is a year old. why is this not covered under warranty? also, the brakes squeezed due to "glazing" whatever the heck that is. they said to take a pressure hose to it to clean it off, or they could fix it for another $350. again, why is this not covered under warranty. and...how hard is it for them to take compressed air to it???

they are simply LAZY, LAZY, LAZY

I'm done with this place. I've had my 2003 GTI VR6 maintenance done here since I bought it and I honestly don't know why I keep going back. EVERY time it's something with these guys. They just feel like shady.

The latest in a string of bad experiences... I took my car in for scheduled maintenance and they told me I might need to replace the oil pan system because the plug that you use to empty the pan was tightened too tight and the mechanic couldn't get it off. Well guess who tightened it? You did! ...the last time I brought it in. So.. so lame...

Seriously. Royal. If you read these... I'm sure you have your reasons for running your business the way you do... you know, taking advantage of the fact that most people go to a mechanic because they lack the knowledge to do the work themselves. However, just read the reviews of your work and you'll see why other places that are less slimy are taking taking your customers. I give you a boooooo...

Royal service is incredibly expensive and not very detailed. I've had them leave lugnuts off of my wheels, not call me for days, keep my car for extended periods of time, and most recently try to charge me for a brake and rotor job that on second opinion wasn't even needed.

Stay away from Royal. My new shop is Advanced Audi and VW. Much cooler people and way more affordable.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Royal Motors.  I bought my Audi from them in 2000.  It was the best price I could find.  A short time later, I moved out of the area and went through the ringer trying to find reliable and affordable servicing.  I never did find it until I returned to SF in 2006 and started using Royal Motors for servicing.

I even wrote the following letter to Royal Motors in early 2007 (before I knew about yelp):

Dear Mr. Witt:

I received your thank you letter for choosing Royal Motor Sales Audi to service my 2001 Audi A4 1.8T.  I only wish that I had serviced my car with you earlier.  In fact, from now on I will only service my car under the care of Mr. Frank Lee, Services Manager at Royal Motor Sales Audi.

I was extremely frustrated when I brought my car to your service center last month.  My car had two warning lights illuminated and a weird sound coming from the engine.  While the symptoms were different, the fact that my car needed servicing was nothing new to me.  My Audi has required constant non-routine servicing since the day I bought it.  Needless to say, the constant servicing has been very expensive and disruptive to my daily life.  As a result, I have been to numerous different service entities trying to find someone I trust that does good work at affordable rates.

I guess what my car and I needed was Frank's attention and care.  From the moment I left my car with Frank, I knew my car and I were in good hands.  Frank provided me with a rental car.  He quickly identified the problems with my car and, most importantly, found cost effective means for repairing it.

The repairs were extensive.  In fact, they required a couple return visits to pinpoint a few of the problems.  Each time, I simply called Frank, and he arranged a same day drop-off and provided me with a rental car.  Furthermore, he did the follow-up at no extra cost to me!

I am very, very appreciative for what Frank did and would like you to know how fortunate Royal Motor Sales Audi is to have him as an employee.  He is a shining example of what customer service should be.  Please thank Frank once again for the exceptional service on my Audi.

This review is for something that happen a year or so ago and has been festering ever since. The long and short is that my wife brought her 2005 VW GTI in for servicing, it was stolen from their shop, finally recovered stripped after about 3 weeks, and they would not pay to have it fixed.
Our insurance company did.

It is impossible to award Royal Motors with few enough stars.

My diligent, faithful, and honest mechanics (reference: my review of Automotive Specialists) were at a loss as to why my MX-5 kept throwing a P0400 code after replacement of all pertinent EGR parts.  They sent me to Royal Motors in hopes that their Mazda-specific code reader would give a more detailed diagnosis.  When I dropped off my car at Royal Motors, I cited trouble code P0400 despite parts X, Y, and Z already having been replaced.  Their answer at the end of the day?  A charge of $180 to tell me that my car was throwing code P0400, and that I should replace parts X, Y, and Z.

Of course I protested, and they took me into their private office to discuss the matter.  (I should have stayed and argued right there in the lobby!)  One of their defenses as to why I should pay: "Your oil was a quart low, so we filled it as part of the $180 service!"  I countered that they should have looked at my sticker: I was due for an oil change in less than a week--they just wasted a quart of oil!  Another argument was that my mechanics must have used non-Mazda parts.  Royal Mazda declined my challenge to look under the hood or talk directly to my mechanics--my guys DO use Mazda parts.  Ultimately, no amount of logic was going to win me the keys to my car, so I paid.  My mechanics made up for it.  (Again, reference: my review of Automotive Specialists.)

I only use Royal because I have no real other choice.  My 2005 Passat is, and will always be, under warranty (leasing can be your friend).  Therefore, I treat it like someone else's kid: I go out and fun with it, and if it starts crying, I take it back.  A recurring problem is that the Passat I got (actually a 2005-and-a-half) is the first time Volkswagen tried to pair GPS navigation and satellite radio.  And they didn't get it quite right.  I don't know what's wrong, but both features function quirkily.

Royal isn't helping much, either.  Their attitude towards my problems varies from apathy (on a good day) to open hostility (on a normal day).  They've done such a crappy job servicing my car that if I ever lease a VW again, I'll do it from someone else.  Yes, I may be stuck having Royal perform the warranty repairs, but I sure as hell can make sure they never get any of my money.

While I bought my Volvo at the Royal Motor Sales on South Van Ness and had a great experience, THEIR SERVICE IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY. I brought my car here for the first time for a 30K service and absolutely did not have a good experience. When I arrived to drop off my car, they opened late, causing me to wonder if they were still in business! After my service was done, I signed the papers, paid the cashier, and was directed to get into my car and drive off. Not one individual sat down with me to discuss what they changed/fixed/etc. What horrible customer service! In addition, they didn't even wash my car! Lastly, right after my service, my tempature gage and locks were acting up. That is the last time I will be taking my car to Royal, even though I live in the neighboorhood.  If its worth it to drive outside the City to get my car serviced, that's pretty bad.

The best Volvo service: Smythe Volvo in San Jose. Mike over there rocks and really provides the best customer service in the world.  (Marin Volvo is also good too).

I purchased a Eos from Royal, right when they came out. Mine had a creeking sound immediatly, and I took it back, and demanded the manager of the dealership listen to it. He personally took it to the reapir shop, but the noise persisted.
I have since taken it there four more times, as now the creaking was so bad it was diving me crazy.
This week I was driving by the dealership, and the noise was so unbearable, I stopped.  I asked my salesman to go for a ride around the block.
He replierd"I've heard the noise, take it to the repair shop. "Then he actually said "best of luck"
I was sp mad, I drove it right to the repair dept, where Mike F got right in, and confirmed what I had been telling them for two years;there is a really loud persistant noise from sometihing rubbing in the retactable top.

Mike was very professional, and seemed like he was really professional in helping.
My care was returned in cleaned condition, and so far the noise is better.
If only they had acted this professionally all along, I might have more faith in Royal Moters. Thank you Mike F for partially redeeming RM Service.

I got a call back from someone at RMS a day or so after my call in to them. They set up an appointment for me to bring in my car a week later on a Saturday @ 10am. Again the process didn't work and at this point they said it must be my car and not them. They then explained to me that this was costing them money (since they charge $190 dollars an Hour for labor) and that they had now spent about 4 free hours on my car at this point. They asked me if I want to have them diagnose the problem. I was thinking "Hmm so you have spent 4 hours already  and only figured out that it must be my car, but still had no idea what the problem could be... So now I should let you charge me $190 dollars an hour for who knows how many hours to figure out what the issue is and then you can charge me more for the actual labor and parts for fixing the issue". This just didn't make sense to me. I said no thank you, that I would do this another time and another place.

I just don't know what to think about this place. I mean if the problem was truly my car and not them I can accept that, but what i cant accept is how long it took them to figure that out and then the fact that they want to charge $190 dollars an hour for labor.

I basically bought a $200 dollar key they doesn't work. They tried to tell me that I could still use it, but it doesn't turn off the Alarm so I don't know how I am supposed to find this key useful If I can't get in the car to start it.

Wow, I am so surprised to see all the bad marks on Yelp!  I am new to SF and usually check Yelp for recommendations, but a mechanic friend of mine told me to take my Passat here and I'm glad I did.

Before I moved 3k miles I had work done on my car and it turns out it was faulty.  I was damned sure I wasn't going to pay for the work when I found out the problem.  RM was so patient and helpful in dealing with the mechanic back east and eventually got it all straightened out so I would not be footing the bill.  After that mess they finally were authorized to fix my car and it was done in less than 24 hours.  The work was great and my car was nice and clean.

They were always prompt in returning my phone calls and nothing but helpful.   I was very happy with my service.

The service techs at Royal are always on top of things.  I took my Jetta in for repair and received 3 telephone calls during the day to keep me informed of the progress of the repair.  When I picked up my car that evening I received a fresh beautiful rose.  What a delight.

When I found out that my dealership closed, I looked for an alternative and found Royal Motors in SF.  I was not going to go to Livermore.  Luckily, I was going to be in the city for a few days and the logistics worked well.

The service was ok.   Most of it was covered under my service contract apart for my new expensive windshield wipers.   My car seems to be doing ok apart from the squeaky breaks ... which I thought they took care of.  But I was obviously wrong.
