9 reviews for Royal Lounge
The Royal Lounge is basically a big dive bar..
darts, pool, drinks, bar folks, etc
It's known for their bar karaoke.

The diviest of dive bars! This place is louche to the extreme. It reeks of staleness and cigarettes, the crowd is of the suburban oldie community and I swear I once saw a swinger's club convene here.
Only go here if you really can't make it out to LA, or at least Tina's Tavern (also a dive bar, a couple minutes' walk away). I really don't like this place. In fact, one of the only reasons to come here is because they have a full bar, while the nearby Tina's Tavern mostly has beer, with literally a few bottles of liquor.
Your clothes will most definitely retain the smoky smell of this bar once you leave.

its ok
they dont know how to make drinks well
place is big
a lot of older people
Simply put, it's a Dive Bar. They usually allow smoking if your sitting at the bar. Drinks are cheap and strong. They have Karaoke on saturday nights, but the DJ/MC is quite annoying, he literally asks for tips. Other than that its pretty chill! Great place to just relax, have some drinks with friends.
The Royal Lounge (or as my friends and I like to call it) The Regal Beagal is just that a blast from the 1970's motha f'n past. Is it a Dive Bar? You bet-cha. They have their typical karaoke nights, cheap drinks, it's ok if you want something local (i guess?), there's a lot of older people (i mean OLDER people). One time i went in and the Waitress/Bartender "Flo" (i'm not kidding that was her name) was smoking a cigarette while pouring my drink with a NO SMOKING sign behind the bar (confused look) you bet-cha. Apparently they have allowed smoking since then. So if you want a cheap drink while waiting for Edwards across the street- hit up the Elephant Bar during happy hour, or if you want to get light headed from all the second hand smoke check out The Royal Lounge.
I'm not sure if the name really suits the place, but the Royal Lounge was pretty cool. I got a chance to play some pool, talk to some regulars, and have some good strong drinks. I'm not a smoker, but if I was, I probably would have given this place another star because it was pretty smokey in there. But, I digress. They have pretty good kareoke and a good jukebox with my favorite ZZ Top and Van Halen songs. Overall, its a pretty cool place to spend some time and get a tastey buzz.

The royal lounge is okay. It's your typical dive bar. They have Karaoke on the weekends and I've been known to sing a few tunes a night lol esp. when I'm buzzed he he he. The drinks are strong. The best thing is you can smoke inside yay : )
Aw, I totally miss this place, I haven't been in a few years, and I think the only reason why is the smoke. I am a full on non smoker and don't want any smoke anywhere near me, sorry, but that is just how I am. I like that it's an old lounge, it's not loud, and it's fun. The drinks are good too. And don't forget to play your favorite song in the jukebox.
i fucking love the royal lounge! this place is totally low-key, very dim-lit (just the way i like it), and actually quite spacious. you can play some pool, throw some darts around, chain-smoke to your heart's content, karaoke with the regulars, or just kick back in a comfy booth and shoot the shit with your friends. a perfect way to unwind after a long day!
