I drive all the way from San Mateo, CA for a stylish PERFECT cut by Rowena. She is absolutely the best I have EVER found. I have short hair and all I can say is....when you leave the calm, spa like salon ....you feel awesome!!!! To all you people who live in the El Dorado Hills area....you are so fortunate to have such a talented perfectionist right there....I have women stop me all the time and ask me where I go for such a great cut...what more can I say?
For 8 years now I have tried to find someone who really knows how to cut hair......Rowena is the real thing! You have to believe me when I say I am picky when it comes to hair cut and I can't say enough about this place. Everybody in there is very very nice and not in a robotic kind of way. You just feel like you are among friends. No stuffy, stuck up atmosphere. Rowena listens to you and spends time to make sure she understands exactly what you want. It's on the pricey side but if you want a GREAT hair cut, it's worth every penny and then some. I have tried other of the so called #1 hair salons in the Sacramento area and am still questioning how those magazines come up with the praises they give some of those hair salons. I have been to there #1 salon and i might as well have gone to super cuts!

Rowena and Takashi are the best when it comes to hair and relaxation. I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago from the Bay Area and I was FULLY commited to my hairdresser. After about a year, I couldn't stand making the 2 hour drive just for a haircut. My sister recommended Rowena and Takashi and said that Rowena was THE BEST in Sacramento. I totally agree. The minute you step foot in the salon, the ultimate calming and relaxing sensation will infuse you. The products are top notch and I will use nothing but Davines on my hair. Want to feel beautiful? Established in 1999
Founder Rowena & Takashi opened a current location upon departure from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA to provide unyielding services and education to clients and salon professionals. A Nominee of the spirit of TSA award 2006 and the winner of the Hair Wars 2008. Relocation to Sacramento midtown is planned for 2010.
Meet the Business Owner: Rowena and Takashi H.
Their principle is built upon continual practice of embracing confidence, selfless service and trust. Last year they brought I NUOVI Cosmetics to United States in order to provide true professional make up to the salon and spa industry where all other major brands are absent. Rowena & Takashi received an honor of 1st place at 2008 Sacramento Hair Wars. For this year and forward they are shifting their gear towards much needed professional education in Greater Sacramento.
