This place wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis, as the name suggests it is a French restaurant, the fish hanging everywhere indicate it is a seafood place, and the inside felt a little like a pub (lots of wood and random decorations). The menu itself had jokes about the South, but offered a mix of southern, italian and greek options. We had the greek salad, which was okay but a little pricey for what it was. Also, it had pickles and potatoes on it which was odd. The fried chicken was fine, but nothing to write home about.
All in all, it wasn't terrible, but I think that Roussos needs to come up with a clearer concept, as well as better food.
Craving Key Lime Pie - I headed to the Internet to find someone in Mobile that made it. Roussos was on the list, open and easy to find.
The key lime pie was good, but not what I expected. The pie had a meringue topping and while tasty, it would have been better if it was left out and there was more key lime filling.
Caution - they moved a while ago and the address on my GPS was incorrect as was the one online. Call first!
