This has been one of my favorite public parks for almost 10 years now. In addition to the large public activity centers they have established (including a swimming pool that costs $5 a day or free with membership, an art gallery, baseball and soccer fields and tennis courts) they also have a very nice playground and great paths for running and walking.

You really couldn't ask for more things to be included in a park, all while keeping it beautiful and pleasant to walk around in, with definite character.

Last time I was at this park there was a group of Mexican men and women putting on a live open air church sermon in one of the pavilions, so literally you can do anything here.

Without question one of the best parks outside the perimeter.

Well, Roswell Area Park (a.k.a RAP), is one reason to move to Roswell.  This park is great for kids, dogs, running, sports (tennis, soccer, etc), swimming, the arts, gymnastics - well, you get the idea.  Regional Atlanta does not have that many great parks, but this is one.
