Standard Residence Inn/Marriott quality, but perhaps with a little rougher around the edges staff (if you're used to being the cities).  The rooms are suite style, bed, living/sitting area, kitchen, all one big space.  I felt it was fairly clean, for cleanliness I'd give it a 9 out of 10.

Very small fitness room that is well utilized (ie forget about getting on a treadmill between 5 - 9pm).

The breakfast is standard free breakfast fare, with yogurt, cereal, sausage patties, eggs, potatoes, make your own waffles, (this is one standard among all residence inn/fairfield inns).  If you stick to the basics (prepackaged yogurt, whole fruit), you can't go wrong.

They have little open house type snacks from about 5 - 7 pm which I never went to, but on my way in one evening saw that it was the same as the residence inn in Newark (think: convenience store nachos).

Overall, a decent place to hang your hat for a week if you are traveling for work.  There seemed to be a lot of families staying here (there is a little water park across the way, so maybe that's why they were here).

The rooms have a 2-burner stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.  I thought that typically these rooms have service for 4, but this one was really random (ie 3 spoons, 6 dishes, 2 bowls).  I didn't really care, but if you were with a family and were really using the kitchen, it might be a pain.

Free internet, but kinda spotty (seemed to go out every once in a while.

I don't use the kitchen, so if i found myself in Roseville again, I'd probably stay at the Couryard.

Stayed here for a week for business. It's in the same courtyard as 2 other Marriott hotels so it can be a little confusing. It looks like one really large Marriott hotel but its really 3! If your coming in from Taylor its the hotel imediately on your left side, closest to the Freeway. My room was very nice, it was open, clean and airy. There was a king size bed with 6 pillows, a little living room with sofa, a desk area, a bathroom with tub/shower combo and a small kitchen which included a microwave, fridge, and stove top. One of the hotel services is grocery shopping too, so you can leave out a list and someone will pick up some stuff for you. I just shopped on my own however. I stayed for about a week and had a nice time. The bed was on the soft side but pretty comfortable, and I liked the clean soft cotton sheets. Even though the freeway was so nearby I never heard any noise from it. Also the wireless service was free as long as you were staying at the hotel which is a nice rarity. I would stay there again. The cost was $159 a night with some other taxes and fees thrown in so probably closer to $180. If you have kids or are traveling with a baby this is probably the right hotel for you. They have a basketball court, a gym, and an indoor swiming pool as well. Also higher security then most hotels, you have to use a key card to enter the building. There is a Tahoe Joes across the street, and an Islands Restaurant in the same shopping center both are easily within walking distance if your so inclined. There's also a Cattleman's just a few blocks away if you keep going on Taylor over the freeway.
