I live near Rose Garden and visit for dinner once or twice per month. The food always comes out hot and quickly. The prices are reasonable, especially for the large portions. They make all of their own sauces here and some are more flavorful than others. My personal favorite is the sesame chicken which they will make with white meat upon request. Not too sweet and not overloaded with soy sauce. I also recommend the pad thai noodles which were recently added to the menu.
The family that owns the restaurant is very friendly. Fist place I think of when I want a quick, casual Chinese meal. -

Hands down the quickest delivery response I've ever encountered. Our food arrived at our house only 18 mins after ordering!
Wasn't a fan of the food though. The meat in every dish was very dry and seemed salty to me. By the time I finished a small plate of food, I had already downed a 40 oz bottle of water. The rice even tasted quite stale and dry too. The wontons appetizer was a small highlight - stuffed and plump with ingredients. -

Food here is decent, served quickly, hot and fresh! A little bland on some dishes, but some are excellent. The Mu Shu Chicken is pretty good, as are the Sesame Shrimp (ask for extra heat, if you like spice though). It is close to me, and the first place that comes to mind when I want Chinese take out, and don't want to drive more than a couple of blocks!

Yes, once again my ever-optimistic sensibilities get me into countless Chinese restaurants...and I had high hopes for Rose Garden. You know? It's a dinkey little place tucked away in an obscure strip mall in north Arvada, so it's gotta be a diamond in the rough, right? Dang it. Bland, bland, bland. Even the hot mustard was bland - I was scoopin' it up and lickin' the spoon. Not a zing or a zowie to be had. My mongolean beef was dry like shoe leather. Bummer - Back to Star Kitchen I go...

Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The sesame chicken tasted like crap and the Kung pao chicken was bland and flavorless. You'd get better Chinese food by buying lean cuisine from the grocery store.

There are quite a few not so good American-Chinese restaurants in Arvada. This place is one of the closest to the house and the closest to decent food. Like any chinese food (real or not), tell them explicitly NO MSG when you order. If it's tasty to begin with it doesn't need it and who needs the added chemicals in their food. I see too many chinese restaurant reviews where people complain about MSG and rate the restaurant poorly because of it's inclusion (true, some items like soup and dim sum have it already added but anything cooked to order can have it left out). We don't eat at Rose Garden often but when the 'jones" is on and everything else seems too far away, that's where we'll be.

Average chinese food... nothing special to write home about. There's nothing wrong with it, but I save it as a place to go for when I receive coupons in the mail. Or for take out.

Had the other night and thought it was pretty decent. I would definately get their take out again.
