I used to work with Rob Abta and I can say he is a great person and awesome Realtor! He's educated, but down to earth! Focused, but approachable. Knowledgeable and sucessful! I knew he would take off as a top agent and he has!! I miss working with him, but I'm happy he is doing very well!! I am also not shocked at all his 5 star reviews because I wouldn't expect anything less!

I highly recommend Ron as a real estate agent.  If you work with Ron, you will get first-class customer service, the utmost integrity and savvy business advice.

I met Ron socially through some SF friends a few years ago, and when it came time to link up with a real estate agent, he was the first person I thought of.  I knew Ron to be a good guy:  friendly, optimistic and thoughtful.  What I didn't know was how serious he was about being a first class real estate agent.  He impressed on me from the beginning that he would be diligent, patient and above all conscientious.  I never had to worry about whose side Ron was on in my dealings.  I always knew he was on mine.

That was 2.5 years ago.  This past May I closed on my first place, and I have to say I had a great experience.  Not only did Ron make the process extremely easy for me as a first-time homebuyer, he also had the experience and business savvy to make sure I got a great deal.  Ron's sharp, and he gave me great advice that probably saved me somewhere between $30k - $60k on my home purchase.  Further, Ron leaves nothing up to chance.  He was buttoned up the whole way.

I would also mention that I never felt pressure from Ron in our dealings.  If anything, he was more cautious than I was in the process because his biggest concern was always making sure I got the right place.  Ron is in this business for the long haul.

If you're looking for an agent who has integrity in spades, has the patience of Solomon (did I mention 2.5 years?), is an all-around nice guy, and has the experience to find the right place for you, I can't imagine a better buyer's agent than Ron Abta.

He makes what can be a stressful experience calm and potentially profitable.  He's professional, and a good person too.

Ron Abta is an excellent realtor and an excellent person.  I should know, I am his wife!  Over the years, I have listened in on many of his real estate transactions.  I have to say, he is a master negotiator with infinite patience.  No, he did not ask me to write this.  I am so glad to be so closely related to him because he got us an adorable house in the city.  He also negotiated a credit for us so we could fix the very old roof!  Ron is so friendly, warm, and intelligent.  I definitely recommend him for any real estate needs.

My wife and I were recommended to Ron by other people who have worked with him in the past.  Five-star rating, slam dunk!

He is probably the smartest RE agent you could find in the Bay Area (MBA from Stanford!) which pays off big-time.

Here's a quick example: he took the time to join the walk-through inspection.  As we learned about a small issue with the foundation, Ron advised us on the negotiation and knocked off $5,000 from the closing costs.  It was the right thing to do, but none of the other RE agents involved in this (rather complex) TIC transaction had the insight or intellect to do so.

Ron is also incredible familiar with the city (hidden gems, upcoming areas etc).  Last but not least, his dad is a well-respected mortgage broker (30+ years experience).  When the 2 team up, you're set up for success (e.g. he would write custom pre-approval letters to signal your negotiation room in the bid :-)

Ron sold my condo in the Marina and got me more than what I was asking!  He also sold my brother's condo and represented one of my employees on her condo purchase.  He did an incredible job marketing the unit, and was tremendous help during negotiations.  I have recommended to multiple people that they use Ron as their agent, and I will continue to do so.

Yes, I have consulted Yelp to find my wedding photographer, house cleaning services, doctors, and now, my realtor.  After reading Ron's numerous glowing reviews I was convinced that I needed to seek him out for help with buying our first home.  From our initial encounter with him Ron was gracious and knowledgeable, and not pushy or intimidating.  It's a hard process purchasing a home, let alone in San Francisco, but Ron guided us the entire way.  He gave us such personalized service that we felt like we were his only clients (or at least his #1 clients)!  With every step he was patient and always willing to talk things out, no matter how mundane the question.  He thrives on negotiating on his client's behalf, and we've benefitted from his savviness in this regard.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends.  We are looking forward to using his services again soon- either with selling or buying!

I would like to add another well-deserved 5 star rating for Ron Abta, realtor.  He works quickly, calmly and smoothly.  He can write the book on customer service.  I was one of his original customers and plan to use him again.

My wife and I bought our first home in Noe Valley with Ron's help, a fairly complicated TIC transaction. Being first time buyers, we were extremely nervous on many fronts: would a TIC work for us? Was THIS the house we should buy? There was a tremendous amount of anxiety.

Ron acted as our guide through a complicated process, and was extremely helpful, positive, patient and just generally nice to be around. He answered all of our questions (three times) and was available to us whenever we needed him.

Ron has also remained a great resource since we moved in. He's been quick to offer references for vendors: electricians, locksmiths, plumbers and general contractors. Each referral has been spot on.

Highly recommended.

The home-buying process can be fast, stressful and ultimately, exciting.  Ron has been confident, supportive, professional and knowledgeable through the entire process which helped keep me at ease.   Just as important, prior to finding my new place, I looked at a lot of prospects but none of them felt quite right (hello Goldilocks). Ron never tried to push me to buy and kept my best interests in mind.  When I did find the right place, Ron acted quickly and was a super negotiator on my behalf.  I would, and do, recommend Ron to friends in San Francisco who are thinking about buying a home.

Ron Abta is hands down the best RE agent in SF, maybe the world.  I have worked with other agents but what sets Ron apart is that he is smart, thoughtful, well connected and, well, downright smart.  He showed me an ugly duckling of a house in a neighborhood that I had not even considered.  Needless to say I was NOT interested.  He showed me the underlying value and how easily it could be uncovered.  Ron helped me buy it for less than the asking price and since buying it, less than a year ago, it has appreciated far more than expected.  I am in the San Francisco real estate game because of Ron Abta.  If you are looking for someone to get you in, Ron is your man.

OK, so what other real estate agent is going to take your wedding invitations to the post office just to help out when you're busy but Ron Abta?  Ron is all about service.  My husband and I worked with Ron to buy our home nearly two years ago and it was a great experience.  We received a lot of education from him and lots of hands on advice about the particulars of real estate negotiations.  He really coached us through the bidding and counter offer process and we did remarkably well on our house despite the "sellers market" environment at the time.  I'll never forget meeting Ron at his office at 11PM to put in our bid - the only time that worked for us.  Ron went through painstaking detail with us to put in the best possible bid the first time around and we ended up getting that house which is now our beloved home!  Ron's extremely adept and professional, but most of all he's a really smart, really nice guy.
