I can't get enough of this place. Just about everytime I go in there, I walk out with something different.
The best way to summarize what this art does for me is ... cheerful and colorful.
The feeling I get when I come in to my living room and see my Romero Britto is the same that Snoopy must have felt whenever he went into his dog house and saw his Van Gogh.

This is a really nice gallery to walk around and check out Miami's favorite artist.  His work is definitely uplifting and happy.  l have heard his work criticized as "cheesy"  but of course this is from the type of person who doesn't like happy work, just dark and "mysterious thought provoking" because happy can't be "art".  Open your mind.. the uterus made from crepe paper next door isn't my cup of tea but l will respect it as art.  Sometimes we just want things to be exactly what we see.

Besides, Brittos $80,000 work is being snatched up by European, Latin American and American collectors.  Not so much that paper uterus.  So Britto is definitely on to something..  Whether you like his work or not just come on by.  Happy fun stuff..

And yes, there lS something for everyone, posters, books, giclees, original paintings, so no matter what you want to spend you can find something here.  These come straight from the source and are numbered limited work... also they all come FRAMED.

Nice gallery but the prices are way too high - not for savvy shoppers. Websites like artrev.com and even a google search turns out the same artworks for less. A cool place to go on a date or with friends.
