1 review for Rodeway Inn Downtown
Location: It's by the state line. The cross-streets are Pine Blvd and Stateline Ave, so there you go. The beach, the Heavenly Village, and the casinos are all walking distance... and yes, we did walk. We went there during Thanksgiving week and it was cold. No snow (dang it) but still cold. So we figured why not walk and get warmed up.
Reservation: No problem with reservation.
Bed: We had a King-size bed and it was ok. Like Big bear would say, give me a room with a comfortable bed and I'm happy.
Bathroom: Clean and enough space for two.
Shampoo, etc: BYO shampoo and conditioner. Their soap is ok. Lotion was ok but just use your own lotion.
Service: They have free continental breakfast. We decided to give it a try on our last day. Their office is across the street and that's where they serve breakfast. They have a couch, few chairs and a coffee table, so if others are already seated you better bring your breakfast back to your room if you wanna eat. You could actually see how they setup their breakfast on one of their photos on their website. Anyway fortunately for us, the place wasn't busy at all during our stay so we had no problem.
The hallway was dark.
Parking: It was okay. They have a lot of parking spaces but then again like I said, the place wasn't busy during our stay.
Price: T'was the week before Thanksgiving...5 days and 4 nights... $247.54.
1 star - Never again.
2 stars - Only when there is no other place to stay.
3 stars - It was okay but we would like to try other hotels next time.
4 stars - We like it but there's no place like home.
5 stars - Ahh! Fit for a King and Queen.
