PEOPLE!!! They have fudge!!!! Peanut butter, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter! FUDGE!!!
In a sea of chocolates and almost hidden in the display of other delicacies. Fudge! Sold by the weight and not too pricey. I took me a big ol square of it and left with a smile on my face.
Makes the drive down the Coast of California that much nicer!

Yummy chain chocolate shop in downtown Paso Robles. They have lots of chocolate dipped goodies. Milkshake was okay, as was the chocolate covered Twinkie. Chocolate covered s'more was pretty good.

It's a chain, but I had to stop in...
I had seen one of the main stores in SF and always walked on by. When on vacation...I eat whatever...and then run it off. I picked up some chocolate, caramel-covered, marshmallow concoction to satisfy my craving. All this walking in the evening made me wonder about fro yo and cupcakes. I politely asked the man behind the counter if he knew of a fro yo shop...
He looked at me and said..."umm, tart, I don't know. I know we have a shop by the food savers." Leave it to me to go ask the question. Yup, me.
I smiled...we could go big people...franchise time!
Service was phenomenal, and the cavity causing chocolate was great. Kudos for the samples that lured me in!Listed in: By no other name=SUGAR

This place is right by the movie theaters and it is actually the only outside food that Park Cinemas allows in their theater since their landlord owns the theater! So that is a plus!
They are surprisingly opened later than you would expect this lazy little town to still have an OPEN sign hanging which is smart on their part since there are usually a lot of movie goers strolling to and from their cars! So already smarter than the old owners!
Their customer service is friendly and helpful and their chocolate though a chain is always fresh and just what you would want in a little indulgence. My only complaint is no one can seem to remove the calories! Arrrrgh!! -

The rocky mountain chocolate factory, is a chain factory, well its not even a factory. But thats besides the fact. The reason i gave it a 3 was i tried one in arizona, and they hand made everything. I ordered a frozen banana, and it looks like they made it a day ago. In arizona, they hand dipped the chocolate, and the banana didnt make me lose teeth. The other stuff there was pretty good, like the chocolate covered strawberries. So if you are going to get stuff here, dont get the chocolate bananas.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a local maker and retailer of fine chocolates and ice cream. RMCF is located in charming downtown Paso Robles, California, on the central park. RMCF offers an extensive line of premium chocolate candies and other confectionery products--most made right in the store.
Offering over 300 chocolate candies and other confectionery products, using proprietary recipes developed primarily by its master candy maker, RMCF is your destination for a treat, gift or event. These products include many varieties of clusters, caramels, creams, meltaways, truffles, molded chocolates, caramel apples, fudge, and ice cream made in full view of the customer using traditional cooking utensils such as copper kettles on gas-fired stoves and marble slab cooling tables.
