While coming through the area recently some friends and I decided to stay at the Rocker Inn. The place was decent enough and felt very safe despite its remote location. Pretty inexpensive and the lobby is open 25 hours.
Also they have two channels for two dvds players in the lobby and a list of avaliable movies, simply call down to the front desk and ask them to play a movie. Easy, fun and also free it was probably the besy part of the stay. Be warned though there is no food anywhere near the hotel and you will probably have to drive into downtown (a few miles away) to find anything decent.
Overall, a safe cheep place to stay if you are looking for something literally RIGHT off I-90
