OMG!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!
I cant believe this place still excesses!!!! I can remember going up to Ukiah, and having to stop by here and get some quartz, or hematite, or even a fossil or too there. The building looks like it's been there for 100 years or so, and I think it has, but to see all the rocks and quartz he has there is AMAZING! Everything is for sale here, and the guy who runs the place knows alot about things. Hes a little "off", but like I said he knows his rocks.
This is a MUST on any road trip up north on 101. Its a great place to stretch out from the ride up, and there are a shit load of ferrel cats to look at, and some will even let you pet them. With all that, why not stop and check it out.
This place is definitely interesting. It's a totally run down building housing a ton of rocks and a lot of cobwebs. The rock offerings aren't the best ever, but are definitely worth checking out if you are a collector. The guy who runs the place seems like a bit of an odd bird, but a very good guy. He takes care of about 20 cats, most of whom were stray or abandoned. So you'll see a number of cats running by out front, some of which are friendlier than others.
