Back when I lived in Orlando I used to go here on the weekends. The decor is AMAZING. So much memorabilia, I would spend just an hour wandering staring at the walls. The "New Wave" section is great, lots of Duran Duran and Depeche Mode 12" 's that are hard to find. I also found some Visage records I had been searching for. The records can be expensive though. I used to drop 100s there.

The guy behind the counter is funny and helpful and we had a nice discussion about Nick Rhodes once, I will never forget that.

Be sure to check out the dollar pile, milk crate after milk crate of records they have not sorted and priced yet. I found some great finds in there. It is worth the sweating and digging!

He also has vintage collectible magazines, VHS, pins and posters. Awesome store...if only I wasn't 1,000+ miles away.....

Vinyl junkies of the world unite! This place is by far the best record shop I've ever been in and that counts L.A.'s Amoeba. I don't care what rare gem you are hunting for, you are gonna find it here...and likely in multiple formats as well. In all actuality, this is more than just a record shop, it's a bastion of nostalgia and could just as easily stand up proudly next to some museums for it's amazing cultural representation. Make a day of it and clear your schedule...you are gonna need it to really appreciate the full depth of what you will find here.

I love Rock 'N Roll Heaven. I always find what I'm looking for, and even what I'm not. This is the ultimate source for all your favorite albums, cassettes, and CD's. They have anything you can think of. I've even found out of print videos of "The Andy Griffith Show" and "The Beverly Hillbillies", and I bought all they had. I even bought a box set of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" videos that had gone out of print over 10 years ago. They also have great memorabilia all over the walls and displays. I once found an old "The Price is Right" board game from 1972, and I really wanted to buy it, but it wasn't for sale. :( They also have bargain bins filled with great album, and they're all in great condition. This is the place to go when you're looking for a classic album that you just have to have right at a certain time.

If this is where all of the records and cassette tapes have gone to live out eternity, then I think the name is truly fitting.  If you are looking for a random Barbara Streisand cassette, or a Culture Club record, then you are in luck because Heaven has it all.  Before entering, you can get a glimpse into their variety by the various posters that cover the windows.  You'll find Frank Sinatra next to Green Day.  And the speakers blasting tunes inside and out happened to be playing Meatloaf.

From movie posters, to pins, to random rocker tees such as Jefferson Starship, they have carved out a place on N. Orange Ave. for all things random where music is concerned.  Largely advertising on their front window, "1,000 CDs for $5" I would guarantee that they have just what you have been looking for.  Plus, if you have old CDs that don't get played anymore, you can sell them here.

What I was most astounded by was their collection of historical entertainment memorabilia.  And by that I mean games, toys, dolls, etc. that represent the trends in our entertainment history.  Think Donny and Marie collector dolls and Dennis the Menace replicas.  There was so much to look at, I could have spent hours in there gazing at the collection.

I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I didn't think I would be so damn impressed with a record store in Orlando. I guess it's being engaged to someone who grew up in Orlando and constantly complains about the music scene in Florida.  Tons of fabulous 50's and 60's stuff!  Quick with recommendations on local bands.

Did sorta feel like I had walked onto the set of High Fidelity.

Next to The Drop Shop, this is one of the last record stores in Orlando. They even have a good selection of Miami Bass and Freestyle vinyl. A great deal at $5.99 too!

I couldn't believe I didn't know about a place in my own backyard that is so filled with Rock and Roll dreams.   They have vinyl records and perfect condition which is extremely rare to find.  I expected the prices to be very high but they seem very reasonable.  That's not all, it has one of the biggest selections of CDs that I've ever seen.  You can get anything from Frank Sinatra to old school Led Zeppellin to modern Disturbed.  Anything I could think of, they had it.  They're always really helpful and will help you find whatever it is you're looking for or call out an order.  They also have great parephernelia like rock t-shirts, posters, old posters, videos, dvds, and souveniers.  This place is aptly named Heaven.

It is amazing to find a record store that have vinyl records in pristine condition considering their age. Whenever I visit Orlando, Florida I always make it a point to drop by and shop there for my collection of mint vinyl recordings. Even the bargain bins are filled with records you might think might have been misfiled due to their great condition. Very helpful and knowledgeable owners in finding anything you are looking for. Looking for that missing album? Rock and Roll Heaven is your the perfect place to complete your collection.

Simply the most amazing variety of CD & LPs anywhere in town.

This shop has been featured in Rolling Stone, MTV and various around town magazines.  It is an institution.  If they don't have it on the shelf they'll order it for you.

I've been in there several times and witnessed one of the owners assist a customer with trying to figure out a song based on the year it came out, or what was on the cover.  Ray is a trove of information.  He is an encyclopedia of music.  He can tell you the label, the B side, the people in the backup band.

You owe it to yourself to patronize Rock & Roll Heaven.  It is the only place in Orlando to buy used LPs.  Ray has stringent guidelines on what he'll even take in to sell.  He absolutely does not sell junk scratched or fingerprinted LPs.  His prices are dead on fair, as he knows what he's got & isn't going to give it away.
