Great place for breakfast served all day. pancakes are HUGE and so are the omelets. Farmers Breakfast special is more food then i could eat, and I can eat alot, plus it was good!
They would get 5 stars if they had waitress and big bottles of maple syrup at the tables. Little Dixie cup shot glass of syrup doesn't work on huge pancakes! -

Robie's is a definite "must stop" for politicians running for office in NH. Over the years to present, the Presidential hopefuls such as Rudy Giuliani, John Edwards, George H. Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton have all stopped here for a bite to eat and seized the opportunity to visit with "small-town America."
Robie's sells basic groceries, jar goods, snack food, candy, soda, beer, wine, lottery tickets, cheese, gifts, cards, household items, and a full service deli offering breakfast and lunch (mostly sandwiches & wraps), coffee and baked goods. They'll even let customers browse at items such as dishes from behind the counter. For the kids, there's even Penny Candy (really $0.02 a piece), how sweet is that!!
Robie's General Store has been around for over 100 years. The place had rustic wood floors, table seating in front, and the walls have old tools, antiques, old pennants, and lots of political posters, stickers, and framed signed pictures from over many years.
Take a seat, enjoy the food, sip some coffee, read the paper, and take in this classic atmosphere. That's what I did! I had lunch here recently and ordered the Greek Chicken Wrap ($5.99) which was tasty and filling with chicken chunks, lettuce, feta cheese, Greek olives (watch for pits), dressing. I'm itching to try the other interesting deli sandwiches ($5.99-$6.99) named after local landmarks. The chili here is pretty good too!Listed in: I-93 Eats

Great place. I usually go there for breakfast - to go. The owners are friendly and very hard working. They have a large variety of deli type sandwiches that are great values. I think somebody voted their pancakes the best in the sate a couple of years ago.
It's in an old general store type building and is filled with antiques and political memorabilia. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. The prices are more than fair, with huge portions. It's definitely worth a special trip there. -

Traditional NH country store with hearty, inexpensive, breakfasts and sandwiches. Friendly owners. They also carry raw locally produced milk, cream and yogurt.

Sublime, buttery pancakes with great sausage patties. I've never had anything else here because there's no place else to get pancakes this good. They stay crisp around the edges till the last bite!
Learned about Robie's from Saveur Magazine who deemed their pancakes "best anywhere" and provided the recipe. Haven't tried the recipe, but, happily, I live close enough (well, almost an hour away) to get there from time to time. Think of it as a "destination breakfast" and take a trip one morning.
Atmosphere is great, people friendly. I can sit and listen to the repartee between the staff and regulars all day. Wish I had a plate in front of me now. -

Robie's a political stop for over half a century also a place were locals gather for food and other little convenient stops... They have a good selection of foods whix drives there biz now.. Everything is freshly made and they have very tasty wraps along with soups and breakfast foods.... I try to stop by every week seeing i'm in the area passing thru.. When you come thru try one of the monster size chocolate chip cookies or oatmeal raisin to satisfy your sweet tooth upon exiting...
