Roberto's Taco Shop

Me and the bf's to go place for a late night hunger. Lol out of all roberto's location we tried, this is the one we like because they are generous in giving meat and everything else (specifically speaking for carne asada fries and carne asada burrito)

Staff: They're ok. Friendly but not too approachable. Doesnt smile lol but its ok for me(maybe they're tired or sleepy) coz we always go there like around 10pm literally only for a late night craving/hunger so understood if they dont want or not able to smile...

Place: no complaints... We dont eat at their dining room coz we always take our food to go.

Food: big portion for the price. Sometimes they forget to put beans on my burrito tho!!!! Lol

All in all, 4 stars!

Been going to Roberto's since 2001. Love this place and most locations. Will still go back to others. This one is always in a disgusting parking lot full of homeless people.

My issue with them is tonight, every dish with cheese tasted exactly like the chemical, air freshener or cleaner they are using. I ordered to go and ate at my house 10 minutes after. Got in the car and Took food back immediately after trying and all food with cheese tastes like soap.

I thought it may be the container they store cheese in just didn't get rinsed off. NP. But as soon as you walk in you can smell the strong cleaner smell that you can't get out of your mouth. Whatever they are cleaning with permeates the open cheese container. 100%. And their workers just eat a bite of cheese out of the container without washing hands and say I dont taste it. Of course you don't, you're working and smelling the smell for hours. You won't taste what you're used to now. No trust of customer telling you the cheese is permeated with cleaner smell.

I'll never go back to this location. It's not worth it when food is good, so why go when that is a waste and makes you sick.

Go to a cleaner better location, not this dump.

Agree with the other bad review saying they let homeless people sell stolen stuff there, I've been in line two times and had people lay out stuff to sell. Workers try to move them out, but hell. This tells you all you need to know. Complete dive.

I complained that they made my 16 dollar burrito with little fillings and mostly tortilla. They refused to remake it and just gave me a refund then the next time I went in they refused to serve me and told me to go somewhere else to eat. I cannot believe the horrible service at this place. Do not go here!

Horrible!! Do not go here!! Avoid at all costs! I ordered a quesadilla for my son today and I took a bite of it and it tasted like mold. Health department has been notified. This place needs to be and will be shut down. I should have read the reviews prior to going. While it's still open, do not go. The bad reviews are all true.

I live right behind this taco shop and I've been here a couple times but after tonight this is the last time I'm coming in. Every time I've been here late night Catalina (cashiers name thats on my receipts) always has this mean a$$ attitude like as if she hates working here . I walked in happy af and as soon as she sees me she yells at me to walk around the area she mopped already and im like ? Am I supposed to already know you mopped the entrance and if so what you want me to do? not walk in?
And its not the first time she treats me or my family like crap. I treat her with nothing but respect , never rude never say anything but after tonight enough is enough. Because of her id rather take my Buisness elsewhere. I will miss their delicious tacos on Wednesday nights tho!

The staff is rude, the cashier Laura P. gave me an attitude when I asked if my food was ready. The food is not that great; the green salsa is not even spicy, the carnitas tacos were dry even though it had guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa it still was dry and the tortilla was over cooked. It was difficult to take a bite.

I haven't been here in forever but it's 6:45am and 4 people in line couldn't get food cause they decide to clean!!! Who does that when there's probably a morning rush for breakfast!?! They couldn't do it at 3am or 4am. So stupid

Very clean limited seating cause of Covid ordered a chorizo burrito and large horchata to go fast fresh hot and,prompt! I got home was disappointed in the food size amount of chorizo and egg was about a cup and no cheese no potato? I thought it came with it before anyways it's to much money 7.50 burritos and 2.50 large drink that's over 10 dollars. I'll go back and try lunch or dinner but prices on a lot of things say to much

Can't go wrong with this location! I have been to many here in town and keep getting disappointed. The daytime team with Erika at the register, and her partner at the grill it's top notch! The children tacos are the bomb!

We had a large order for office lunch. The common denominator in everyone's food was the cheese. Every single person stated their food tasted funny. Like dirt. We returned what wasn't eaten and they did refund that amount but this is a known problem that we were unaware of. I guess an employee had moldy items from there before and didn't realize we were ordering this location.

Great Mexican fast food! Yummy tacos, combo plates, huge quesadillas, great Carne asada nachos/fries. Good prices. Horchata. Try the homemade green salsa! Highly recommended!
