I have curly hair and it is hard to find a stylist with the patience and knowledge to cut, color and style my hair - that is before I met Jen!! She's awesome. She takes the time to talk to you and figure out what you want your har to do, what would look good, and what you can do with it on your own. I always get compliments after I leave (and for weeks beyond). And she is not just good with curls, she also does 2 of my friends hair - and they rave about her too.
I would follow Jen anywhere, but the salon is awesome too. Everyone is so friendly!
I get facials from randi lynn at least once a month and i have to say she is fabulous!!!
its takes a minute for her to figure out your skin, but as she does it feels won-der-ful. She massages and takes extra care, really figuring out a regime that is best for you. I receive peels everytime and i have to say that my skin glows and my lines are minimized. also, it just makes me feel great, like a new me was underneath there.
i will continue coming for ages, and hope to soon get a tooth whitening treatment on top of it. its cheaper than going to the dentist and from what i've seen even more effective.

Love this place -- Kelly is absolutely awesome! I actually started out with Shawn, who was highly recommended by a coworker, but I just didn't feel a click though I loved my hair. After checking out Yelp reviews, I booked with Kelly, and I'm so impressed how she's able to fasion my irritatingly curly hair into a great pixie that's almost *too* easy to care for! She's also got a great eye for color and for what will look great on you.
The receptionists and other staff are totally friendly, too, and I love the coffee and tea and comfy waiting area. The prices are very reasonable, but I'm still loving the discounts here -- there's a 10% neighborhood discount for working for a business on Halsted, and last time I got 10% off for scheduling my next appointment after my cut. I remember also getting a $10 off coupon after my first appointment.
I wish we could tip on credit cards, but by now I know to bring cash. They always remind you on the phone, though, which is appreciated!
I wanted something very fun and unique and I knew Jen was going to do a super job and she did! Jen was attentive, listened to my ideas, and then took it and ran with it. With no picture or source material to work from, she created her own masterpiece. I am thrilled! Great service at a great price. Everyone was very nice, and Jen was exceptional with the scissors. I can't wait to go back and see how the cut evolves - I'm finally excited about my hair again!
I love this place. My mom is a hairdresser and has owned her own salon for as long as I can remember, so I have very very high standards. I have been trying to find a consistent stylist and place to go since I moved to Chicago 10 years ago, and I finally found one in Tony at Robert Jeffrey.
He is a very nice, and wonderful person and gives great haircuts. He is accommodating and just generally creates a very relaxed and nice mood for the whole experience. That can generally be said about the whole place, it is very comfortable and inviting. Everyone is super friendly and they are very easy to deal with. I have cancelled an appointment within hours and everything was fine. Their prices are great too and you would expect them to be much higher.
My only gripe is that you can't put tip on your credit card when paying, so you sometimes have to run and get cash if you haven't planned ahead, but that is hardly enough to dock a star.
I was getting my makeup and hair did for a wedding that day, and they did a fantastic job. More so on my hair than makeup, but it is a hair salon. I was going for this retro look and while I was getting my makeup done, the girl said I was lucky to have Mark Anthony doing my hair because he does amazing work. She hyped it up a lot, so I didn't know what to think, but she was right. He was a lot of fun and did an amazing job on my hair. It was exactly what I wanted. I rarely get excited when someone does my hair because I'm so particular, but I did get excited that day.
I'm a regular with Martin, he is very conscientious and always does a great job with my hair. I came to him after self-coloring for a year....he saved my life! Not only did he correct my coloring, he has put in some long layers and made my hair a lot healthier. I have stick-straight blonde hair, and he somehow manages to give it body. He's also super cool and we always enjoy chatting about varous topics while he works his magic.
The other staff at the salon seem very friendly and although I have not had my hair styled by anyone else there, I can highly recommend Martin.
I agree with the previous user (min). I had a haircut with Jean a few days ago, and I'm still sad about it. She did not listen to a word I said either. She cut my hair entirely too short after I had stated several times I did not want it to be any shorter than shoulder length when dry. I would not have minded it that much, had it not been for the fact the haircut had no style, and now I'm forced to wear my hair back until my hair regrows. :(
To make matters worse, I had to wait 40min because Jean was running late doing another girl's hair. I was also charged more than I was quoted on the phone just like the previous user.
The place is clean, and this rating is based only on my experience with Jean. I would definitely not go back, in an area with so many salons, I'm sure I can find better.
Had a haircut w/Jean a few weeks ago and my head finally recovered.
She didn't listen to a word I said. My bangs are about 1/4 inch long (ugh!) and I'm still not sure she did anything to the back of my head. No shape, no style, and I found tons of dead ends after it. When the girl at the counter asked how it went and I told her I was displeased she just smiled and said "ok". Great. Thanks for your concern about your customers.
I've been there & seen Sam before, & had great haircuts, but Jean officially gave me the worst haircut I've had since moving here 5 years ago. Doubt I'll ever go back to Robert Jeffrey. There's too many other salons in this city for me to go back & try again. Not only because of Jean, but because of the airhead receptionist who couldn't care less about the fact that I hated my haircut. She just took my money (which was more than I was quoted on the phone). Had I not been in a rush I'd have made a stink about it.

Just got back from a haircut w/ Maurice at Robert Jeffrey, and I can't say enough nice things. Last time, I went to Aveda Salon School, and it took hours and hours and I ended up with a sub-par cut. This time, I decided to pay double ($30!) and go to a real stylist--and a friend recommended Maurice.
I didn't have any idea what I wanted, but Maurice worked his magic--talked me into bangs (haven't hand any since 8th grade, and that is, terrifyingly, over a decade ago), which turned out awesome. He also did a great layer/trim of my shoulder-length hair. Result: I am a happy camper.
Definitely go. Also, at $30 for a student cut (as in I am a student. Maurice is a pro!), it's kind of a steal!
Ok. So, your hair is extremely important, right? I think that it really matters that when you get a haircut, it's done well and you walk out feeling like a new person.
I've been here a few times because I followed my stylist, Conor, when he moved here from another salon. I have to say, I love coming to this salon. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly, and I feel really taken care of. I've never had to wait long at all for my appointment, and always leave feeling great. Conor is awesome. I've always been thrilled with his work.
I'd highly recommend this salon to anyone!
Shawn really knows what to do with my hair-When I leave there I do not have "skunk" stripes that other places have given me-As well he talked me out of going all over blonde again, knowing I'll be in there every 3-4 weeks and the pain it is for me...my long hair and those tiny sinks=knots in my hair and stress for me-
I went in for a touch-up last week (May 27), last time he did my highlights was February, so he knows how to blend them so they last-I asked for the highlights to be a tad lighter and mix in some lowlights and he got it right-What's funny is everytime I go in I never can really tell a big difference, but then once I get home and see them in different lights I appreciate his work more-
So if you have brown hair and want highlights that blend in and look natural see Shawn, he'll get it right-It's just a subtle change that looks so natural, and he uses color on me instead of bleach, and I can say my hair isn't dry like I've experienced at other places that use bleach-And he doesn't use a toner on me, he gets it right the first time-
Note: If you have long hair you will be charged for more products being used and $20 for a blow dry for color, but it's free for a haircut-
i get my hair cut and colored by jen and i love it every time..she has to be the best stylist in the city. she always listens, gives you options and best part is she NEVER cuts too much off. if you're looking to grow it out but want to look groomed in the mean time, jen is your girl!
i really hate that "just got a haircut" look, and i never leave feeling like i have to fix it myself. jen is my go-to girl.
Since my last review on RJ, I have been back three times; once for another cut and highlights/lowlights, as well as a facial and a bang trim. The five star rating remains.
Jen was amazing as usual, and was able to cut me some very manageable bangs that were exactly what I was looking for as well as giving me some gorgeous new layers. The whole time she was styling she explained how she did everything and how I could do it at home in an easier way. My bang trim was free three weeks later too.
My facial was with Randi, who appears to be new to the staff, and when I told her it was my first facial she got really excited. She asked me what my concerns were with my skin, and looked at it carefully before beginning. The facial room is RIGHT off of the main salon so I was worried that there would be a lot of noise from the outside, but you could hardly hear a peep, and once I was totally relaxed, nothing at all. My skin felt great after it, and as a bonus there was a seasonal 20% off on it. I will definitely be setting money aside to return for one in a couple of months!

I love this place. Very convenient, friendly, sometimes a wait but good magazines and occasionally heavenly scalp massages. Before I got my hair cut with Kelly I never knew my hair could be thinned out. Mine grows fast and thick, not good for running. Kelly gave me an awesomely cute short haircut, perfect for the summer.. I actually can't wait to go back and get it cut again today.
Shawn has been cutting and coloring my hair for two years and has seen me through plenty of different lengths and colors. I always leave with better than I'm expecting. Everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly, which I appreciate. I had one incident where I wanted to push my hair color lighter when I shouldn't have, and when I called a few days later in panic about my super-dry hair, Shawn stayed after closing to do a treatment for me and recommend some products that I love now. I once fell for the stupid "buy this salon gift card scam" and although it has $100 on the gift card- I've still never used it because I would never even consider going to another salon.
SO happy to have found this place. I had been going to Gordon's salon on Clark and after 4 different stylists there each butchered my hair, I moved on to Robert Jeffrey. My hair is thick and curly, and I wear it both curly and straight, so I need a versitle cut that will look great both ways. I saw Connor, and he was fantastic. He talked to me a lot about what exactly I wanted- anything he wasn't clear on he asked me to repeat. I told him that I really just needed my cut from Gordon's fixed, and he pointed out all the mistakes and told me how he could fix them, and made sure everything was OK with me. As I'd just gotten a cut two weeks ago, I didn't want to lose much length, just fix the layering and make the cut more even, so he would stop and show me regularly and ask if I could go shorter or if we should stop there. I've never had a stylist take so much care in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I was a little annoyed that once I got there I was told the appointment before me was running long, and I ended up waiting half an hour. I would've appreciated a call beforehand saying I should come in later. But as I made the appointment the morning of my cut, I was glad they could squeeze me in at all. The price was reasonable- I think around $45- and the salon was clean and nice, staff was friendly. Nothing exceptional about any of that, but Connor made the experience worth 5 stars.
I still feel bad about cheating on Patrick, but a friend from work had her hair done by Daniel and it looked great. She told me he was a curly hair expert and was she right. I don't have my hair done that often, but when I'm ready I better get an appointment fast or else I may go elsewhere. Last time even through Daniel was booked, I think he started early to do my hair. On top of everything Daniel is really easy to talk to.
I may have cheated on Patrick, but at least I'm loyal to the salon.

I've been going to Robert Jeffrey for 2 years (with a few visits to Zea in between) and I'm always happy with my hair when I leave the salon. Whether I am wearing my hair dark or blonde with highlights, Daniel does a fantastic job with my color. If you are ever just looking for a wash and blow-out, go to his assistant Mark, he'll give you a head massage that will leave you wanting more!
Note: Make sure you have cash for the tip because you can't put it on your card!
The reason I gave RJ 4 stars instead of 5 is because almost every time I go, my stylist gets promoted and I end up paying more... shouldn't there be some grandfather clause?

Brandon, is the most creative, dedicated, AMAZING hairstylist that I have ever been too. PERIOD. I've always had problems with hairstylist and ending up having a bad hairstyle.. :(
But BRANDON... He's magic with scissors. You tell him what you want, and he delivers it to you .. only thing is that.. HE MAKES YOU LOOK BETTER THAN WHAT YOU ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.
Brandon has always been my hairstylist the moment I had my first hair cut with him. Sadly, I have to leave the country and he won't be my hairstylist anymore.. I did mention to him if he is willing to be my hairstylist thought HAHAHAHAHA

I finally found a place that I continue to go back to and a stylist that I always see. Charlie from here is the best! I plan to follow him to their new location in Andersonville.
Plus, it makes me giggle when I get to call and set up an appointment with Charlie for Charlie.
I love this place! I had no clue where to go since I just moved to Chicago a few months ago. I have dark hair and i get it highlighted very blonde every few months when the outgrowth is bad. I went here on a recommendation from my cousin. I had Mark and he is the BEST! He is SO cute and sweet, and did exactly what I wanted. He even did a deep conditioning treatment on my hair for free! I did a partial highlight and it was only 75 dollars. The color came out perfect and I was so happy with the way they blew my hair out. Im very picky about this because my hair is really thick and curly and most stylists can't get it straight. They had a junior stylist who was also named Mark... that dried and straightened my hair and he was FABULOUS! he did it so fast and perfect! i would reccomend this place to anyone who wants top notch service for VERY reasonable prices! go to Mark Duthu! He's sooo good!
I had never been inside before, just walked by a million times enjoying there window dressings. (The newest one with gold maniquins and chicken's might have be my favorite). My Aesthetican Randi, whom Ive been a loyal loyal client of for over 3 years is now working there. She is an amazing waxer, and Ive been through many aestheticans, she is by far is the best brazilian waxer I've had. She's funny and makes you feel uber comfortable. She's fast and detail orientated. I've sent her at least 5 of my closest friends and well never stray.
The establishment is large and very busy. I love the edge and the trendy hair styles being worn in Robert Jeffery. The front desk is dressed stylish, and seem to always be in chipper moods. Their prices seem affordable so I cant wait to get my hair done there.
I will report back after I choose a stylist.
This place is as good as it gets. I lucked out when I "moved" to Chicago (aka - when I decided to stay after college, when I was still going home for haircuts) and a friend told me of this place and the stylist she went to, Samantha. I have been going to RJ for almost two years and everytime I get a cut, I am very pleased. I have a short bob with a odd cowlick in the front, but Samantha knows exactly how to cut my hair, what I want and what she is doing. And most times when I get a cut it is after work when I am wiped out and don't feel like talking, which is fine with Sam too. I do have to agree with previous reviews about prices going up. I've gone from a $35 cut to a $55 cut, but it is well worth it and I can't imagine going anywhere else!
A few years ago I called Robert Jeffrey and said I was looking for a good stylist, but not too expensive. Well....4 years later...I'm still going to Daniel! I always change my hair do, it's always something different. He always has a suggstion, and is always up for the challenge. I love him so much, like all my friends go there....literally!
He's the type of stylist that will definitely take you to where you want your hair to be. He doesn't just let you say, "I don't know what to do", he'll always have something up his sleeve! I always walk away saying I love my new do, with a snap!!!
Daniel rocks! And, he's quite hilarious and sassy....and I love that in my stylist!

I started coming to Robert Jeffrey after my stylist at Micheal Anthony suddenly left with no forwarding information. I went based on a recommendation from a friend to see Shawn. He is great. I was very nervous about coloring as I hate it when highlighted hair has those streaks. Shawn has done a wonderful job coloring my hair and has always made me feel comfortable about what he is doing.He has honestly done such a great job I would have a hard time getting color done anywhere else.
Yes, he can come off as a little quiet or almost shy, but to be honest, it is nice to go and sit for an hour and not have to worry about talking to someone the whole time!
I am working with one of the assistant managers to set up appointments for my wedding party and she has been very helpful and accommodating.
They aren't the cheapest place I have ever gone, but they are by no means overly expensive for downtown Chicago.
I moved here in December of 1998. I would have to say that over the past 10 years I have worked through 12 + hair stylists. I was desperate for a hairdresser that wanted to work on my naturally curly, super thick hair (as most would literally sigh in frustration...please see my Trio...hair review).
I checked out Yelp about 9 months ago to look for a hairdresser that worked well with my type of hair, Daniel at Robert Jeffrey was a favorite, and reasonably priced. Was this for real?
So I made my appointment. Not only did I get a great cut, Daniel, as a person, is lovely. After three pleasing cuts (at the cost of one from some of the other salons in the city), I asked if he had a color person he liked too work with....he just looked at me and said "oh, I can do it." In the past, salons I went to had distinctions of color and cut people ...and he's saying he can do them both? Okay, he hasn't disappointed me yet, I'll give it a try.
And of course, he was fantastic. Highlights were perfect and affordable...and quick!.
Robert Jeffrey Salon, in and of itself is great. The staff has always been friendly and the assistants (those that wash the hair), were the best I've encountered in the city.
"I was a virgin going into this hair care studio. I have Never had foils in my hair -- to their amazement and mine (this is that uncommon?). I have always done my own hair color, it never occurred to me that this was a big deal.
Jason listed an ad on craigslist for a complimentary session. Upon arrival, he asked me what I wanted and I told him to do what he wanted and after asking me in detail about my preferences he did a highlight and lowlight with foils followed with a gloss, then a wash and conditioner, blow-dry and style. He did a wonderful job!
My DH and mom actually could tell the difference and really liked it, as do I.
As always, tip on what the procedure would have cost. A pittance for the actual service.
I had an 11am appointment and parking was a breeze albeit street parking with meters (I put 2 hrs worth but ran out with 12 min left and added a quarter -- Jason offered to run out for me, but I thought he's doing so much for me already!)"

Here's a tip. When the stylist comes to get you and you see that her hair is modeled after the works of Edward Scissorhands turn and run.
I asked for one thing. Slunk out with a total different thing. I had to buy a lot of hats and headbands in 2004.
I am was incredibly happy when I walked out. The girls at the front desk were awesome too. The girl who reviewed Shawn must have caught him on a bad day or something. I called at noon today and he had an opening at 1, which was awesome because I really didn't want to wait. I went in told him I my experiences in other salons (all bad) told him I just wanted a shorter version of what I already had -- none of this wild and crazyness with staircase layers, etc. -- just layers, fringe in the front, bang trim. Turned out great :) And I'm going back for color next week. Stay tuned.
The only thing I didn't like was the girl who washed my hair seriously smelled like she had just smoked a dozen cigarettes with the CEOs of every tobacco company between North Carolina and Kentucky and down.
I am writing this review for no other reason than to sing the praises of the almighty hair guru, my stylist: Charlie.
Why do I have Charlie on this pedestal you ask?
Oh, how I could carry on ad nauseum! But I don't want to bore you to death. Let me just highlight the important stuff:
1. He's a creative genius! I've always let him do whatever he wants to my hair and every time I leave the salon, people rave about my hair.
2. He's dedicated to what he does. It takes him over an hour to snip my tresses, if not longer, which is awesome. His attention to detail ensures that you'll never have to deal with the perils of a lopsided haircut. (Not a fun ordeal, trust me.)
3. His candor. He'll tell you straight up if your 'do looks crustastic.
4. He's damn entertaining! If I'm getting my thick mane o' hair colored as well, you can tack an extra 2 hours onto my time in the salon. Never a bore when he's around, plenty of good stories.
The staff are all very friendly and they are on top of their reminder calls. They use the best products and they have a bevy of hair and beauty products to peruse if your stylist is running behind.
If Charlie isn't available, ask for Ana, she's great too! But if you get Charlie, tell him Ellie sent you! :)

Conor Dooley this week while visiting Chicago. An amazing facial and foot massage from aesthetician Randy made it a perfectly heavenly day.
Definitely worth returning on my next visit to Chicago.
After coming here for the past 3 years, I've had great haircuts. Sarah who was my usual stylist moved to Spain, so I was scared that I wouldn't find a new stylist who I loved as much as her...
Well let me tell you guys something, Kelly sure did give me something to rave about! I love her! She really did a great job the first time I went to her, and she did a great job today.
I had a bad experience with them last March because of the reception didn't take down my reservation correctly, and it basically left me empty handed. Also, they ended up calling me an idiot to my face. Well I left, and vowed to never return.
It wasn't until my roommate told me come back, because every time she saw Kelly for her cut/color she told me Kelly was sad I haven't returned, and would love to see me again.
Well I ended up going today, and getting a great new summer cut and color. I am so excited about my hair, and she gave me a rockstar haircut. I really recommend Kelly!
And when you come here, don't mind the front desk, they are bitchy, and obviously don't know how to take down a reservation. Sorry ladies, but you really suck.
While at work one night, my hair was looking awful. I decided I absolutely needed a haircut, and a friend recommended Robert Jeffrey. I work until 7:30 most nights, but they were able to squeeze me in after work. The stylist I made the appointment with (I chose randomly) wasn't there, so they put me with Jason. He and I talked about what I wanted my hair to look like, and how he would fix the mistakes that past stylists made with my haircut.

My first review on Yelp. I mean I use the reviews all the time, it's about time I say something.
Here's the back story. I grew tired of my old stylist and was in search of a new one. I had wanted to get my hair back to its original color and whenever I'd go in, I'd come out with more highlights. I have the really thick and long hair, so getting my hair highlighted and cut takes forever. Plus, I felt like I was always pressured to buy products to maintain the color, or keep it straight, or make is shiny, or whatever.
It was my first time coming to Robert Jeffery. I've sent my fiance here for his cuts and after reading several reviews here, I thought I've give them a try. I would definitely recommend coming here. My stylist (Daniel) did wonders with my super thick coarse Asian hair. Also, he was really easy to talk to, asked me what I was looking for, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I didn't feel obligated to spend a ton of money on hair products. I had a cut a color for $115, definitely reasonable; btw, bring cash for tips I felt really comfortable there. I've already booked my next appointment.
I have been going to Robert Jeffrey for about 8 years. I have had a couple of different stylists, but have been with Romy for about 3 years. I have red hair that stylists aren't interested in coloring, partially because they tell me other clients would kill for the color and partially because the results can be unpredictable. Romy has highlighted and colored my hair a few times now, and I couldn't be happier!
I also had my wedding party get ready here, 5 years ago. It was really fun and all the stylists exceeded my expectations.
So, for my regular cuts and color, as well as special occasions, I'll continue to choose Robert Jeffrey.
This was my first haircut in Chicago! I feel like a proud toddler....
Anyway...I called Robert Jeffrey after seeing the sign on their door for hair models. I've gone to beauty schools before for more reasonable cuts, but I believe the stylists here are providing discounted cuts with mere weeks from completing their hairdressing license.
I'm so grateful that I got such a quick and great cut here. Usually at training schools, it takes FOREVER to leave. But for $10 I would've definitely paid more!
I have been going here upon my cousin's recommendation for past three years or so. I used to go to random Korean places or the $15 walk in places, and as a result I either got a high fade from a Korean mom or a sh*t cut from a hair school reject.
My cousin pointed this out to me and she told me that I needed to start getting real haircuts, and that is how I found this place. Going here is kind of a trek for me and it's in boy's town which at first was a little uncomfortable, but don't get me wrong I'm open minded, however my first time going there I was hit with Market Days and that was pure craziness.
Walking into the location it's very bright and inviting, and the receptionists are usually not bad to look at and very nice. Moreover, I'm happy they changed the decor in the recent years, there used to be these campy photos of the owner and his dog, and some with his friend they were all horrendous and I'm happy they're now showcasing artists.
The guy that cuts my hair is Daniel and he does a great job. He has cut my hair for years and he is nice guy and we always have good conversations. He also does a good job of giving me different types of haircuts which I would never of thought of on my own. However, he has become very popular over the years, and as a guy you never think to call a week ahead for a haircut, but now I have do that which is somewhat annoying but I can live with it. I would recommend Daniel to anyone he does an A+ job.
There is a lot of places to get your hair cut in the city and I think Robert Jeffery's is a great place to tryout.

I have fairly difficult hair, it's very thick and kind of weird. The top part is very curly but the bottom is almost completely straight. It had gotten way too long and out of control. Hair emergency!
Sara is fabulous. She actually listened to me, which is rare for some reason. She took extra time thinning out the bottom and making sure the layers kind of conceal the straight bits. I've never had a stylist pay so much attention to the little details, like trimming up individual curls to make them bounce more :) She works quickly but without rushing, which is perfect.
I went during the evening and it was pretty busy but that's probably because it's a great salon. I think their pricing is very fair. You get what you pay for but it's not obnoxious and overpriced. I did splurge on some products but like I said, hair emergency.
For the most part, everyone seems friendly, at least the other stylists. I can't say that I found the receptionists to be especially friendly. Actually, they were pretty short with me but whatever, I'll be back to see Sara. She's not afraid of my crazy hair.
Also - they can't put the tip on your card, so make sure to get cash BEFORE you go. D'oh.
I'd give Robert Jeffrey 4.5 stars if I could, instead of 4.

First off, I love the fact that everyone on here has a different stylist and yet everyone loves them.
I was a bit nervous when I first walked in here. In college I would drive 4 hours to get my haircut done by the same woman who had done it growing up. Well I live in Chicago now and flying to Dallas every time I need a haircut just isn't practical. I got a recommendation to come here from a friend of a friend. She said her stylist Daniel had curly hair so he would know how to cut it. I was still skeptical because I have super curly hair and well you never know.
I went in super scared, but she was right Daniel did have super curly hair and did know how to cut my super curly hair. He did an amazing job and I was thrilled. Since he'd done so well the first time, I decided it was time to really cut my hair. I got one bad haircut 10 years ago and have been scared for life. With Daniel, I decided to cut off 12" for Locks of Love. Daniel made this haircut, the best one I've ever had.
If you have curly hair and you're looking for a stylist, go to Daniel. He's amazing. Plus he's from Texas as well.
Updated 11/15/07: Well I'm lazy and don't get my hair cut all that often but when I do I go to Daniel. I decided it was time to cut my hair again so I called and made the appointment. My hair had grown and we cut off 8" this time to donate. I wasn't scared this time and it was a lot of fun. Daniel is fantastic and kept asking me if I was okay throughout the whole thing because he remembered how traumatic it was for the first time. I came in with pictures of a style I wanted. Not only did he make it look like that style, he made it look better. I'm so excited that I have short hair again and he did yet again another wonderful job.
