530 N Coast Hwy 101A nice place with a nice atmosphere. I had a Moonlight Blue burger (garden) and it was absolutely delicious. If you're vegetarian there aren't many options however. I think there were two items on the menu, then several sides that were vegetarian. You can also order from Viggiluci's Italian menu. Everyone's food was great, and it was good times. Wouldn't mind eating here again one bit.

Great place to go for a nice dinner and still be able to see the game. Pretty popular with the North County locals and service can get pretty sketchy on busy Friday and Saturday nights (the reason why they get 4 stars instead of 5). Warning: the calzones are ridiculously HUGE!
Great local spot, for sure. Good menu, bar food, and brunch type food on the weekends. Awesome servers (personality wise). And fair prices.
Decor is lacking. TVs can be annoying. Live bands most nights...but, one in particular can also be annoying (I won't mention which one). When we failed to tip the jerk band member that came around to our table, he gave us this dirty look and bad mouthed us to the next table. "Chump Working For Tips" should be the band name. Seriously. We didn't care for them, and didn't care to tip. Stop hassling me, dude.
The AC system, or lack of, really doesn't matter TOO much. Only on those extreme days. Hey, it's Encinitas and always 63 degrees...
We prefer the outdoor seating, although traffic (Harley's and such) can get loud on the weekends. The train is really nothing. Again, it's Encinitas. We're used to it.
I'd give it a star more if I wasn't hassled by annoying band members and if the service was a bit quicker.
The sucky thing is that, yes, it more often than not takes an eternity to get your food. But, luckily, there are top shelf liquors waiting in the wings...
:D
I have been to Robbie's twice so far, and I must say that I have had a great experience both times. Since they are owned by the same company that owns Vigilucci's next door, you can order from either menu. Robbie's has upscale bar food, which I actually haven't ordered yet but looks really good. I usually go with a pizza from Vigilucci's even though I prefer to eat in the atmosphere of Robbie's because it is more casual. The pizza is really good-- I highly recommend it. The first time we ordered the sausage, and it was delicious. This last time we ordered the pizza with chicken and spinach-- totally amazing. The atmosphere goes with the upscale bar theme, and they have live music at times.

I've probably spent my time here equally between dinner and happy hours. In fact, the old web page had a pic of my friends on there. I was there too; the camera missed me. Regardless, each time, I've had great time among the drinks, the burgers, the appetizers, and the live music. It seems cramped sometimes, but that's actually appealing. It's usually hopping.
Though I must admit, I haven't been there recently because an ex's parents like to go there - and I kinda steer clear of certain times to go. LOL
But when the smoke clears, I'm back! I'm such an idiot.

Probably the best burger you can get in Encinitas\Leucadia, and perhaps in all of North County.
Great seating, but the televisions are annoying!
Large beer selection. Overall a great experience.

I really really want to like this place which is why I keep going back. I like the ambiance and location (hence the 2 stars) but I have never enjoyed a meal here and I'm not that picky....really.
I went there once with my husband and he ordered steak with wine sauce. What he got was (I kid you not) a dried up piece of beef jerky with grape jelly slathered all over it. Grape jelly? Yes Grape Jelly.
The next time I went there was for a friend's birthday and it was so freaking hot in there that my ass left a sweaty imprint on the chair. Gross!! How many sweaty butt cheeks had been there before mine?
I felt like I was in early menopause and it took the waiter over 20 minutes just to bring water.
I have also been here a few times for happy hour with friends with a little bit better result. Good selection of booze and beer but on the pricey side. Overall I just can't recommend this place to anyone. And I really really wish I could. Really.

Like Risa has said, Robbie's Roadhouse Grille kicks some serious ASS!
Great ambience, great food, great beer! :o)
I performed here last night with the Flamenco Group for the first time, and the place was packed and quite busy... it has a nice atmosphere, outside and inside dining, and a very busy bar.
For people visiting Leucadia, I guess this is a place to "be-seen", as it seems like a very happenin' place. Pretty casual, yet has an air of hipness to it. Big screen TV, live entertainment.
Parking is tough, but they have valet parking.

Robbie's Roadhouse kicks ASS! I love this place. It's finger lickin' good, comfortable, and just real. They have great food at really reasonable prices, an authentic atmosphere yet kinda upscale/nice ambiance. And music 6 nights a week! Really really good music. On the weekends, a few times I heard a group called Trio du Jour that was AWESOME.
I'm not particularly happy about the big sports/big screen TV's around the bar area, but hey: there's something for everyone--- so for that, I'm leaving it at 5 stars. Because it's really a roadhouse, and people on motorcycles can be found parking out front.
What's even cooler is that they let you order from BOTH the Robbie's all-American menu and the Italian Vigilucci's menu, next door. So you can have the best of both worlds. With drinks, you're looking at a really really reasonable-yet-delicious night with great food, and indoor/outdoor appeal. And it's located in one of the cooler more walkable strips of the 101 in Encinitas. I hear Robbie's has a buffet Sunday Brunch for under $20, so I'm going to have to try that next!

Robbie's Roadhouse Grille is part of the Vigillucci's Family. This is a great and friendly steakhouse on the casual side. The atmosphere is traditional and suits the menu perfectly. You can dine outside on the front patio or in one of their comfy booths. They have football on Sundays and cool bluesy/jazz ensembles during some of the dinner sessions.
The burgers are thick and juicy and the Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Cheese--charbroiled and comes with wilted (taken from the menu) field greens and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese cream sauce; also served with mashed potatoes is to die for.
