This is one of my own personal hangouts in the Santa Ynez Vallley that I am so fond of.
Every time I make the drive down south I stop in and get a Oreo mocha and a Pattibake's carrot cupcake.
I enjoy both while walking around downtown Santa Ynez, its one street mind you.
My waistline and checkbook are happy that it's a four hour drive... that reminds me.
Only three weeks until I get to have one! Boy oh boy - countdowns on!
Main hangout on weekends, really reallyyyy good chai and smoothies.

The Roasted Bean is like a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for rustic rednecks and LA refugees, complete with requisite fourteen-year-old behind the counter. I would definitely not take a chance on ordering anything to do with coffee, if you like coffee. I would drive back to a big city and not make that mistake again. But, if you want to sit in a big comfy couch, or you want a decent smoothie from a pretty decent selection of smoothie flavors, or you want to relive the life of a junior high kid in the SYV, then try it out.
