Tried this place out after finding out Coach's was closed early on Christmas Eve. Can you imagine?

Quiet evening, so I can't really give a completely accurate account of the place. Place was clean a mellow, with what seemed to be mostly regulars.

Definitely nice and divey, but quite clean for Christmas Eve.

Perhaps I will give an update if I ever return.

I really can't figure out how in the hell this place got 5 star rate,must have had all their friends write up reviews for the yelp site. Well I'm not a friend & I would at lease give them one star for effort but that's it because I won't become a regular customer. I've been looking around the tri-city for a good place to go it took a while but  found Menconi's lounge and man you talk about a good & fun place to go with music,dancing,Karaoke and about every other thing going on for fun.try it you'll like it.

Well, there's cheap beer and kickass karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights.

Some of the regulars can really sing and those who can't usually pick good songs.

Karaoke, that's where the extra star's for.

That being said, the place is little bit ghetto, but at least it ain't Kirby's.

I dont know how this place has got 5 stars.I have no personal contacts and no accquaintances at this place and i must say this has to be a honest review.I read the reviews and saw the 5 stars and chose to go there last night for a peaceful drink or two.
It was so hard to find this place and when i did find it...it was tucked away in an obscure corner with a small bar with hardly any people and completely downscale.
Totally avoidable!

Definitely a great place to hang out if you are looking to have drinks with friends, socialize with complete strangers, karaoke your heart out and share great laughs.

Everyone is in good spirits, for the most part, whereas those who were inappropriately acting beyond the expected got the boot. Hey, not everyone is made to sing like Frank Sinatra or Whitney Houston, and I can bet you a million dollars that the person attempting to sing knows that so there is no need for ill-mannered conduct and rejection.

Chuck is a wonderful bartendar, he attends to you efficiently and quickly all with a smile on his face too (helps boost the extra "cha-chings").

Yeah, definitely a great environment if you don't want all the hype and hoo-ha of dressing schnazzy and having to impress people. I'll be frequenting here.

you're review is right on. Sandy runs a tight bar. and her and her bartenders are evey bit as good as Chuck, who i think is great, along with Jenifer, Sandy, Sloppy, Nadine and Barbara. hope i didn't miss anybody.
