Yikes! My wife and I were in town on the way to Colorado and we saw the yelp reviews and so we had to try it out. My only regret is that we couldn't have ordered more and eaten tonight. This is some great BBQ! (This is of course from my perspective as a Native Seattle-ite)
I might make it a point to swing through this part of the world from time to time to have this BBQ... It was great.
The meat was very well prepared. (My wife and I shared Brisket and Pork Ribs) I could probably have eaten myself very ill because it just tasted so good.
Aside from the meat however I would also like to say that the side dishes were pretty good as well. Generally I kind of assume that sides at a BBQ place are effectively a wash, but these were really good. Be adventurous and try something besides beans and cole-slaw. While they are good here some of the other stuff (Yams and Pecans or Cucumber and Onions) are surprisingly good as well.
Oh, we took Mark T.'s advice (previous reviewer) and got a cookie as well. The cookies are pretty good as well. (I couldn't find anything to complain about.)
The staff that helped us was very friendly and helpful as well. Well worth the 5 stars and the drive to get this BBQ!
Pity they aren't open for breakfast... -

This place is down a street in a business park. Great BBQ. The ribs are just awesome. I had a pork sandwich and it was yummy too except needed a lot of their sauce added. But if you are with someone who doesn't like a lot of flavoring, it comes that way too. the sides are country things like black eyed peas (done great), baked beans, cole slaw and such. They serve "sweet tea" and regular unsweetened plus an array of other drinks.
The decor is 'blues guitar performers" ...like Stevie Ray Vaughn and others, many signed by the perfomer. Nice, clean, good food and friendly. It deserves a five star! -

This is such a great place. Wish we could go there more often, but it is the next town over. Roadhouse is Louisiana-style BBQ. Hubs likes the ribs and pulled pork sandwich, I like the beef brisket, or I can just get a ton of sides and a salad (Russian dressing so tasty). ALL the sides are vegetarian, and made at the restaurant. Baked beans, green beans, potato salad, sweet potatoes with pecans, oh a website: http://www.roadhousebb.../ I got most of the sides, but there's the info right there. The BBQ sauce is sweet and tangy, and I love it. Usually I don't like BBQ sauces. Not being a Southerner, I don't do sweet tea full strength, so I cut mine with the regular iced tea.
Oh, and it's run personally by the owners, and I do believe their teenager busses. Good people! -

The best BBQ in Idaho! I am a certified Kansas City Barbeque Society judge, I have competed in a sanctioned competition BBQ event, and I have eaten in BBQ restaurants all around the country (and in several other countries). This BBQ is classic Texas style, with sauce on the side, so you can enjoy the excellent flavor of the meat and the smoke, without having it doused with sauce - unless you douse it yourself. The brisket, pulled pork, and baby back pork ribs are outstanding, but my favorite is the brisket. There are many sides to choose from, and I highly recommend the large oatmeal raisin cookies, especially when they are fresh from the oven. Don't miss this place.
