Lovely park on the river. Took the kids here for a picnic lunch while we were driving through Grants Pass. The park is quite large and has a nice play area. The river is gorgeous.
We had to drag our daughter away kicking and screaming.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 25412115209May 28, 2021
This is such a lovely park! It runs along the Rogue River and there are plenty of places to sit and watch the river go by.
There are walk paths and play zones for kids.
A very nice place to hang out on a beautiful day!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 20, 2020
Beautiful park on the river. My husband and I stopped to stretch our legs and walk our dogs after a long drive from the California coast.
They have an elaborate playground for kids, and there was even a water splash pad!
The park is rather large, with parking areas throughout. The bathrooms were clean and a wonderful convenient, especially with the current covid restrictions.
There are tons of Canadian geese, ducks and pigeons, so watch your step while walking around ;-)
Would highly recommend.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - William G.Willow Creek, CA3323841191May 1, 2021
What a beautiful park situated along the Rogue River in Grants Pass , Oregon. We decided to enjoy some relaxing time with our mini Schnauzer, " Hazel" at the park, we brought a picnic basket full of goodies to kick back.
We drove into the park to find our perfect spot and we did find it by splash zone for kids. We found that the park is very well maintained, the table we sat at was clean and there were many families having a great time around us.
We are dog people and there were many people with their dogs on a leash walking thru the park. I clean up after my dog , I was surprised that there was not more dog dodo bags available, we carry our own. There were plenty of trash cans available and no garbage at all around the park.
This park is big, lots of parking. This park has ADA accessible areas which is nice to see . There are bike trails, sports fields , trails, covered areas to sit under and disc golf. There is also a spot to launch a kayak and enjoy the river. We did use the bathrooms and they were the cleanest I have ever seen in a park setting.
We visit Grants Pass quite often and this is one of our go to spots, highly recommendHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Benjamin P.De Pere, WI11214831770Jul 2, 2019
Review is for the disc golf portion of the park only.
Abandoned old course that seems to have not been updated or tended to in years.
Beat up small rubber tee boxes. Only baskets were on holes 1, 8, & 9. Homemade baskets were pretty cool actually. Goose poop all over hole 1. Course is very short, o think 1 was about 150', 8 was 245' , and 9 was like 120'.
Not worth stopping, I'm heading over to Tom Pearce to check that one out.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Hylary L.Morgan Hill, CA23742950Jul 6, 2021
Awesome park for families! My two boys ages 8 and 5 loved the splash area and the playground is very cute. Lots of shady spots to sit and paths to walk on. Our dog loved it as well. Plenty of parking, too! Highly recommend if you're in the area or need a place to stop on a road trip.

Excellent playground with river views. I let the kids play while my husband paddled down the rogue river and landed right at the ramp by the playground. Looks like they are building a splash pad as well.

We're taking over the in-laws rental on E. Park St and get the privilege of having the park directly across the street from us. We have only walked through the park once and was shocked at how clean and anti-graffiti it was. Coming from the Bay area, we can't walk down the street without seeing gang graffiti and tagging.
Everyone in the park was police and said hi. The best part was having the Rogue River so close and the dogs having a good time in it. I predict a lot of walks here and relaxing along the Rogue.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brie C.Beaverton, OR122136Apr 14, 2018Updated review
Beautiful park! We stopped here on our way back home and it was great. The bathrooms were stocked and clean, everyone at the park was nice, the playground was fun! My son ran around for almost an hour without getting bored, there were plenty of other kids to play with, and the structures were engaging. Definitely going to stop by here again when we're passing through!

Gorgeous park. Great for kids with a fun water park area which helped because it was so hot today.
