This is a great gym, offering every class you could possibly imagine from Pilates to Zumba. Yoga too!

It is great for kids.  There is an in-house childcare you can use for up to three hours a day, at a low rate.  The childcare is very clean and the staff is really energetic and nice. There are also kids' classes like yoga, swimming, and just "bouncy house day" (once a month).  Once in a whle you can even use it for "Parents Escape" while you run errands downtown.  Very convenient!

The cafe is great, offering lots more than your typical gym cafe.  You could even meet a client there, I do all the time.

More: My husband really likes their noon basketball.  They also have 2 large cardio machine rooms, a good pool with kiddie pool and spa, family changing rooms separate from men's and women's locker rooms, spin studio, indoor track with windows, squash courts, weight rooms...this place is huge and has something for everyone.  Worth it!

The RAC has everything you really need in a fitness facility.  It has cardio, weights, nautilus, classes, trainers, pool, blah..blah..blah.  It also has a cafe that serves alcohol!  LOL....I find that amusing.  Maybe it's just because I have never belonged to a gym before that served anything beyond fruit smoothies and egg-white omelets.  This cafe has everything from healthy salads & fruit smoothies to not so healthy sandwiches & other tasty foods that will pair nicely with whatever wine or beer you choose.  For those of you who have little ones, they do offer child care.  I'm a little irritated that they wont allow me to bring Baxter there.  (My dog is more well behaved than more than half of the little monsters I've seen running around that place!)
The place is kept clean, & the staff is friendly.  Downside.... it is a typical gym.  It's typically busy at peak times, so that's nothing unusual.  Nothing really stands out & screams that it's the best place ever.  & also, it's a bit spendy.  A couple's monthly membership fee is nothing to sneeze at.  All in all, it's a solid 3 star A-OK.
