Came here for a wedding reception last Saturday. It's definitely got some gorgeous views of Alexandria Bay and the St. Lawrence River. I don't know if it's the best place in the world for a reception though, first off, the room we had ours in was definitely small and the place didn't seem that big so I don't know if they could have hosted anything much larger. Also, while the views are gorgeous the room definitely had some spots that needed work. Some of the windows were not cleaned properly and had what looked almost like giant spots of soap scum on them. I mean what's the point of having amazing views if the windows are dirty?
Also the food leaves MUCH to be desired. Maybe I'm spoiled living in SF but dude, the food was kind of gnarly. I had the beef with some kind of mushroom duxelle and it was heinous. Other people had the salmon which I heard was better. Overall though it was a lovely room and a very nice wedding.
