LOVE this place! I brought my still-dirty car from the MACHINE wash at Bert's around the corner to this little gem. Since the car had just been washed but Bert's hadn't gotten the bugs/stains off, the manager bargained a price for me, which was super! Plus, he threw in a free wax of some sort. (not a real wax, but some semi-wax that's worth $5).
They've got my business from now on! Bless their hearts!
If you want to get a quick, half assed car wash, this is the spot to go. Mediocre.
This is the best carwash hands down. Early bird special too (if you get in early enough). Hand car wash with a vigorous vacuuming (not just the 18 seconds while your car is being dragged into a machine car wash). Free coffee to boot! I make it a point to stop by every time I drive downtown.
They do a good job for a basic hand car wash at a reasonable price. When they clean the interior they don't do a thorough job sometimes miss spots. Sometimes it is hard to communicate directions to them or they forget.
But overall a good car wash, fun, good value. They use fresh towels and it's better for your car than a machine wash.
I have also used their detail service. Good quality work for a reasonable price. For the detail, their interior cleaning is more thorough.
They have a tip box but many ppl tip the workers directly it is a bit confusing who to tip or how much.
Go here EARLY (like 7am) and not only beat sitting in line to get in, but get a full on:
Wash
Vacuum
Window cleaning (inside and out!)
For around $10 plus tip (early bird special), and all in about 10 minutes.
The guys here are super efficient and friendly and you can even grab a cup of coffee while you wait.
but PLEASE!!!!!! make sure to stay out of the bike lane and be aware of bike commuters on Milwaukee if you end up waiting in line to get in.
Had my car detailed last week. YAY! It needed a major clean up.
They got the carpet so clean, it look new. The vehicle is black, and it's a 1999. So the paint has seen better days, lost it's shine. Flat, flat looked like a beater. I was considering getting it painted, buffed to perfection, soo shiny now.
The leather seats, also a wow factor, they looked new. I bought the car used and had it detailed when I got it, the job wasn't like this. Other than a little wear and tear, this is what it must of looked like new.
No joke, that nice. I wish I could drag my leather couch into this place to get cleaned!
They do a great car wash/vaccum and I just called to ask if they do any body work (they had a sign up about paintless dent removal) and they recommended someone to me. Very helpful.
