5 reviews for Ritz Carlton the
Best Resort experience ever and it is consistent again and again.
Love the ski in ski out option which is easy access over to Beaver Creek Mountain.
Rooms are amazing and comfortable.
Bathrooms are luxury!
By far the best spa I have ever visited with the grotto and easy access to the outdoor hot tubs which are plentiful in a high end setting.
Good crowd that stays there so it seems warm and inviting.
Love the great room to hang out in after a day on the mountain. Good hot chocolate drinks. And it feels like you are hanging out in your own living room.
Food great and staff is pleasant because the Ritz Carlton demands that.
Will go back every year.
December rates are lower and usually a great time to go because you avoid the tourists.
Oh. Yeah.
Before you go labeling me some kind of "fancy pants", Tricia and I stayed at the Bachelor Gulch Ritz Carlton last weekend for- get this- for $169.00 a night.
It was awesome.
I guess with the season not started yet at Beaver Creek or Vail, and with all the other mountains open, they have this CRAZY deal for a few weeks. (The last time I stayed there it was $1,255.00. A night. And that's not even the busiest part of the season.)
SO... fellow Yelpers... next season, keep an eye out for this deal. I'm not writing an actual review (but I am writing one for the restaurant- Wolgang Puck's 'Spago'- where we had an amazing dinner), because you just need to experience it yourself.
It's one of the best hotels in America- and for $169.00... it's other worldly. I will post some sort of reminder next year when the deal comes around. Maybe Tiffany will let us have a Yelp event there. :)

A true pinnacle of luxury lodging in Colorado, the Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch has peaked as what every other hotel is compared with. One stay at this fabulous resort and you'll know exactly why. The customer service is impeccable, its not uncommon to show up and have the staff know you by name...how, well they just really pay attention to detail.
Because of it's popularity it can be hard to book, this is also the result of many units being owned through Fractional Ownership (like a timeshare) however http://www.VailSkiVaca... has unprecedented access through a local network of employees. They provide great service and will help you find the perfect accommodations for your Vail or Beaver Creek vacation.
In addition, they have a blog at http://www.blog.vailsk... that can help you find the perfect lodging for your vacation.
This is the place to stay in Beaver Creek, it offers ski in/ski out access and a wide array of amenities from an in-house spa to great swimming pools.
I wish I could live at this place. Everything about this place rocks..accept the price. Great place to take a loved one. Food and service were amazing.

Bachelor Gulch is hands down the nicest Ritz I've been to --- out of 6, or 7... they have a beautiful pool and 3 Jacuzzi surrounded by aspens and a gorgeous underground swimming grotto in the spa. The service was amazing --- we upgraded to club level, and our concierge was incredible! The entire club level staff was friendly and bent over backwards to make sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The food was nice, all local products and very fresh, the caf Americanos were the best I've ever had and wine selection was good. The only negative about the club level was the small selection of vegetarian food in the displays --- but overall, it was still a great value just for the drinks and I would absolutely do it again!
NOTE: One thing to be aware of if traveling to this altitude is that it's not always easy to adjust. Even with the humidifier going and doses of liquid oxygen I still had migraines, sinus pain, difficulty breathing and a lot of other discomfort during my stay that made most of the activities we had planned --- like mountain biking - not an option... that said, most of the guests were fine, only a few of us had these issues.
