Went last night for dinner and drinks. My daughter had a Birthday party in their children's club which was AWESOME! I don't see any recent reviews, so maybe nobody has been since renovations finished to Spa area. WOW - a must to check out.

Great service, beautiful surroundings - firepit at night with ocean breeze is perfect way to end the night (with a few drinks of course!)

If you have kids - this is probably one of the BEST RitzKids set-ups I have ever seen. They have something for little kids and teens - including DJ Booth, media centers w/ big screen Mac computers, kids spa. The party was held in "Coast" and then they have "AquaNuts" for smaller kids. What a great idea if you live locally.

I heard they offer summer camp too ..... sounds fun to me!

A 5 star review for a 5 star joint.

I spent 5 glorious days at this location, for the Gf's birthday, and it did not disappoint. Top notch service and treatment, beautiful grounds, great rooms, and spectacular views. This hotel has it all. The pool area wasn't full of screaming brats, and the pool personnel were always around to attend to your every whim.
The hotel restaurant, Angle, was also excellent.

My only complaint was the Ass Rape when I paid the bill, but I expected it so I lubed up beforehand.

After spending a day shopping in Palm Beach my mom and I decided to stop by the Ritz Carlton for some tea.  I had heard the Ritz had been destroyed in a hurricane so I was interested to see how this beautiful resort had been redone.

Wow- the lobby is just breathtaking, which I guess is to be expected.  I've been to the Ritz in Chicago several times over the past few years, but I have to say that the Palm Beach Ritz puts Chicago to shame...sorry Chicago!  Tea was wonderful as always and the pool/beach area is amazing. I was ready to change into a bathing suit, get a pina colada, and settle down for a week long vacation!

Before leaving we went down to the ballroom to check out how's it changed.  I had my bat-mitzvah in this ballroom many, many years ago. Ok, I'm making myself sound 70 yrs old, but it does seem like a lifetime ago.  I was surprised yet happy to see that the ballroom has not changed one bit. The gorgeous rose colored room and exquisite chandeliers brought back many happy memories from my bat-mitzvah.

If you're looking for a hotel to vacation at in this area I highly recommend the Ritz, even for Floridians who don't live far away.  There's no need to get on a plane when you have a resort this fabulous right in the area!

I had some friends in town this past weekend and I stayed there with them.. The renovations look very good and once the spa is finished in 2009 it will be amazing... Typical Ritz the Service is Great the Grounds are very well maintained...  They have the best bartenders at the outside pool bar....  The only thing I recommend is make sure you are not close to the elevators cause my friends room was and all night I heard it going up and down.. But besides that everything else was perfect except for the weather....

yawn...don't let the exterior appearance fool you, its cookie cutter Ritz Carlton inside...for the money, stay at the Breakers or the Four Seasons.
What I liked:
The rooms are nice and most have views of the ocean...located right on the beach...Angle, which is owned by an outside co., is great for dinner.  Views are beautiful.  High tea at the Ritz is special.
What bored me:
The food is awful...just not up to standard for the price you are paying.  There are two pools and both were over-run with families with small children...not that I have anything against children, but I want to take a dip in the pool when I am hot and the statistics of small children vs. clean water was not coming up in my favor.  Oh, and the second pool is called the tranquility pool for a reason, people...ugh!  The spa was under renovation during our stay as was a portion of the hotel.  But, regardless, if you are going to Palm Beach and planning to spend a ton of cash, you could do better than here.

I live right down the block so first off... great location! Right on the beach (doesn't get any better). Right across from an adorable plaza with an ice cream shop, market, Thai restaurant among others. Restaurant for dinner is excellent. Rooms are cute. Beach area and jet ski's are fun. Exquisite entrance inside. Pool and restaurants surrounding are breathtaking. Definitely more CONSERVATIVE  then the one in Sobe and some others. Can't go wrong here! Love it.

Wow! That's all I can say - I love this place. I only had a day to spend at the hotel - but it was lovely. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Unlike some other Ritz's I've been to, the decor is not tacky at all and is a kind of modern spin on classic. As always, Ritz service is the best! The food at one of their restaurants 'The Grill" was delicious and they bring you complimentary cheese fondue. Also, the pool and the outdoor grounds are pristine!

We went for a sales award trip, having never stayed at a Ritz before. Because we were comped for most meals and services, we experienced the whole "shabang" of this location!

Pros:
-friendly, prompt service and staff
-large room with a few fun amenities like robes, umbrella & ring/jewelry holder
-nice elegant/clean/mildly-traditional decore in room as well as throughout lobby, bar and louge area
-comfortable setting in the pool area... plenty of chaise lounges
-good room service accompanied by a rose, butter mold (see pictures) and pick-up service... we ordered 2 omelets, coffee and hot chocolate for a grand total of $75... the side potatoes were awesome!
-easy request button near door for guest or maid service
-were constantly greeted and escorted to places we asked for directions
-lovely flower arrangements that changed while we were there
-live music and some dancing on the weekend nights
-turn down service 2x a day with chocolates
-quiet room location (rm 606) overlooking the pool and beach!
-high tea daily for $25-- fun!

Cons:
-poor quality breakfast buffet (in the less formal cafe, which offered the same fare as room service) we paid $26 each for an "adequate" selection of over-heated sausage, bacon, cafeteria-style scrambled eggs, cereal, dry hashbrowns... the fruit was the highlight... strawberries, blueberries, rasberries... i woudn't recommend it unless you go to the SUNDAY champagne buffet ~$50
-SMALL shower with LOW water pressure
-extremely small and cramped spa area... not enough room to relax around or wait for your service if there's more than 3 people... only one changing room
-i recieved a nice 1 hr swedish massage in a "cabana" outside... relaxing, but i've recieved much better ones at spas closer to homeL: better service and amenities... also, limited services (i hear that they are going to rennovate and build @ the end of the year)
-i was very suprised by the large amounts of young children running around, especially out by the pool area... the fairly large hot tub was always occupied by kids, so i never had a chance to enjoy it... also, the pool looked a bit murky... hopefully it wasn't because of the "overuse"
-even our "casino night" buffet and the awards banquet dinner was just so-so... i wouldn have expected better food, but i guess it was b/c of the large party?
-toiletries provided were similar to those at a Comfort Inn or Ramada... don't expect aveda or lather brands here...

overall, despite the long list of cons, we still had a great time louging around the room, pool and beach. the poolside and beachside service was friendly and we enjoyed some tasty drinks (~$13 ea)... try the berry frosty drink with a vodka shooter... also, the flatbreads and salads:) the limited shopping complex across the street was definitely limited but there's a nice grocery store where you can buy cheaper and more gourmet food items, drinks and magazines. i'm not sure if i'd go back to this one, but i've heard that the Ritz in Orlando and Half Moon Bay (CA) are much more top notch! i'm going to make sure to visit another Ritz in the future.

A nice quiet place to stay in the OFF season only. Never been there in the summer, so I can't vouch for that. The room was very clean, and furnishings ok, but I'm sure the renovation took care of that. Plus, the staff was so nice to me and very cheerful, veering on the weird (as I am unaccustomed to service like that), but in a nice and uber-pleasant way.

rooms were comfortable as well as beds and very clean. even with a partial view of the ocean...the room was nice. pool area crowded in the summer with families.  pool service impeccable.  the beach is not very deep and ends up a bit crowded at times.  afternoon rains sent staff into a frenzy both days that we were there which could frighten tourists not used to the rain/lightning that happens each afternoon if Florida. the chairs on the upper deck are great and breakfast buffet was fantastic.  if able to tack on breakfast to your room rate you should do this.  its worth the little bit that you pay to include breakfast.  park in lot across street if possible as valet parking took over 40 minutes at one point and we went to dinner late because of it.  spa under construction but will be nice when finished.  eat at local restaurants across street (Thai) and 20 min away (Two Georges) on the intercoastal.
