This place seems to be very wild and kinda crazy!!! there's a lot of stuff here and it so "WHOA!!!" the people here are a little slow and just "dead" and unprofessional. they aren't as helpful as some of the other people at other locations.

I must say though, the people that help you with the ice cream really pile on the ice cream for like 99 cents!!!!

HEY!!!    Albertsons Sav-on Pharmacy on El Camino Real in Encinitas!!!   DID YOU HEAR HOW EASY THAT WAS???
DID YOU???  GET A CLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I admit the staff at this Rite Aid seems a little drained or dead inside but they blow the doors off of Sav On Albertsons.

All drugstores are more or less the same for me - over the counter drugs, basic convenience stuff, and/or seasonal stuff.  

But what sets Rite Aid apart from the others? Black Cherry ice cream.
Or just ice cream for that matter.  Whatever your flava?

The pharmacy at this Rite Aid is ridiculously unprofessional and can only be tolerated by those with a great sense of humor to laugh off the total joke that is Rite Aid Pharmacy. As advertised on their huge lit sign (and on all of their printed publications), this pharmacy is supposed to be open 24 hours... however, on many occasions I have driven over, only to be greeted by a dark pharmacy with rude employees who respond to my query with a blank stare. I switched pharmacies a while back but I have a friend who still gets her prescriptions filled here for the location convenience and the sheer entertainment of this insane pharmacy. If we were lucky enough to stop in while the pharmacist felt like filling prescriptions, without a doubt we would encounter a disgruntled employee who chastised us for putting a new prescription in and quoted several hours to fill the prescription. Beware.

The pharmacy may be bad and the store is basically in dyer need of a make-over but the staff here are really nice and the prices are amazing. Wait a week for the seasonal sales to kick in after the stock is first put on the shelves and save up to %50. I hope when they finally do remodel they choose to keep the prices the same.
