In a tourist trap town hosting dozens of brightly lit, fantastcal attractions, the Ripley's Museum was pretty par for the course. It was interesting enough, but didn't "wow" me in any way. Though my 9 year old son enjoyed it, I think the money could've been spent better elsewhere. But I'm not really the target audience either.

It was a bit pricey but worth the money. It has 4 floors that have pretty crazy and interesting things.
It's a great place for family and even a couple.
Definitely worth visiting! -

I rate this place five stars because, of all the museum-type attractions in Gatlinburg, this is probably the flagship. Your dollar value gets better if you buy combo tickets that include other Ripley attractions in the area. It's a very fun museum.
Keep in mind: I have visited this place several times and probably only 10% of the displays are updated from time to time. If you have visited before, then skip it. It's no longer a good value on a 2nd or 3rd trip. -

I grew up going to this place and still go back here when I get a chance. It never gets old and it's always been a lot of fun. It has plenty of oddities and mysterious things to wrap your mind around while you travel through the multilevel tower of spooky doom, there are still a few displays that creep me out to this day. It's cool and dark and almost damp feeling in the museum so the place really lights up your senses.
There is so much to do in Gatlinburg but this should be on your to do list while you're there. It's cheap and like others have said, you can buy ticket bundles to do all of the Ripley's attractions and save loads of money. Ripley's has the best mini golf places around too so take advantage of it while you're here and don't miss out on the savings. -

Wife and I got the three pass for ripleys. Ripleys it's just ok. Nothing special and not worth the money. Won't go back.

The museum is cheesy but a lot of fun. It has a lot of information about the oddities that Ripley bought over the years. This museum is great for both kids and adults. I would go again if I had some kids with me.

I've been to two other Ripley's (LA area and San Fran) this one is way better and bigger. A lot more to see here and takes longer to go through. Kids will love it.

I've been to Beleive It or Not! museums in other places before and this was about the same. A decent way to kill an hour or more browsing around and relaxing.

Typical Ripley's museum...It had some very cool and unusual things, but it was also saturated with less than interesting displays. Overall it's still a worth a look it you have some time to kill.
