This place is great. I came here for a friends birthday. I absolutely LOVE Brazilian steakhouses, and i dont even eat steak. haha
The food was actually not THAT great in comparison to some other Brazilian steakhouses i've been to, but it was still not disappointing and i definitely left satisfied.
I just love the whole atmosphere and style of Brazilian steakhouses with the waitors walking around with a different gigantic skewer of something and you just pick and choose what you want. My style :]
The bacon wrapped pork is to die for. As well as the shrimp.
Oh, and don't forget to get drunk and dance alot. That's the second best part.

If you love being as carnivorous as I do...this is the place for you!! Meat...meat and more meat!! Those Brazilians sure know what they are doing....not only are they beautful but they can make my stomach very happy!! Rio is a great place for groups who love to eat....also...if you go on Thurs...you are bound to have not only meat on your plate but a choice of the prime cuts of the valley's beautiful people during locals night!! DJ is great too!!

My friend came to L.A. from out of town and I wanted to try for a good impression. Unfortunately, the food just disappointed. The Sangria was watered down and not very good and there was only a standard selection of meats which didn't go over well with me.
There is some sort of floor show that goes on with flamenco dancing, somewhat like what goes on at Cafe Sevilla, that is extra for the seating but we opted out of it.
Instead what rescued the night, is that there is open patio seating facing Ventura Blvd. My friend ordered the best bottle of CA wine they had and we retreated outside to smoke cigars. For anyone who smokes cigars or for anybody who smokes for that matter, this is a rare and special feature so 1 extra star for that alone. Other than that there isn't much to glorify about this place.

A was introduced/inveted to this place in 2002/2003, and immedialetly I thought this place was grrreat!!!
WHAT A GREAT FLOOR SHOW! AM I IN VEGAS?!?!?!
Nah, Im in the "Valley".
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!
Great food, live "samba" dancers, WOW! They are not only beautiful and very talented to boot!
You will spend $28-$40 per person but it IS worth every penny!
Awesome! I went here for a company dinner...and I believe it was 25$ a person for an all you can eat MEAT feast and show! Maybe more...I don't quite remember. But it was yummy anyhow. There were beautiful girls performing the traditional brazilian carnaval dance and capoeira martial artists also performed. WOW...it was a night to remember! May I add that the capoeira guys were HOT. The food was fabulous too...all you can eat steaks, chicken and sausages...was very satisfied with the service and atmosphere. Can I give it a 4.5? =)
