A bunch of really nice people who are serious students of Tibetan buddhism. The organization is led by Sogyal Rinpoche, author of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. They usually offer a meditation class a couple of times a year, and ongoing studies for people who are somewhat more advanced (ask them for details, I don't think it's as hard as I'm making it sound). They're really good at working with new students.
They have a two shrine rooms (one small and one somewhat larger) and a small bookstore. It's very conveniently located a block and a half from Montgomery St BART, making it very accessible for folks in the City and the East Bay.
