The guys who work here are really nice. They try their best to accommodate you and aren't like regular snobby streetwear heads working at some elitist boutique. However, the people who frequent this place are kind of snobby and jerks. They just chill outside making fun of people walking by.

I have been selling my deadstock Jordans here for a pretty good value. They give you 85/15, which means they charge you 15 percent for consignment. And they are really smart what to price it at so the buyer and sellers are happy.

One problem with this place is that they tend not to call you when your sneakers sell, so you have to keep track of it. But as long as you check every couple of days on the website, this shouldn't be too much of a difficulty.

They also sell used kicks, a lot of them are in decent condition. The prices here aren't as vicious as Flight Club. They are probably one of the best sneaker consignment spot in the area, the other one being Holy Grail.

Wow a quality sneaker shop just a block from my house, oh lucky day.

When I moved to downtown from Hollywood, I was afraid my days of finding quality footwear close by were over.  As I was out one night cruising through Little Hapone though, all my fears were relieved.

RIF has a good selection of Bapes, Jordans, AF1s, Dunks, and of course the almighty SB.  I was so excited when I saw the white SB Raygun sitting on the shelf.  When the I saw the affordable price of $275, I couldn't believe my luck.  Unfortunately my luck ran out because they didn't have it in my size.  Cry

The prices were more reasonable than Flight Club but their selection wasn't as deep.  You can pretty much find almost any SB at FC dating all the way back to 04 but RIFs selection was a little more limited.  No knock on them though.  The staff was well versed in quality footwear and friendly as hell.  I picked up a pretty boss RIF new era cap that turns many a heads as I pedal down the street.

I look forward to may more purchases from RIF.

Best consignment shop for kicks in LA hands down.

Best prices
Best workers ( big ups to jeff and ed)
Best New and Used shoes selections

These guys treat you with respect unlike other retail shops that sell rare items. IF you are in LA , you must check them out !

My favorite consignment store. Definitely better than Flight Club in terms of service, selection, and atmosphere. There's no pretentiousness nor elitism here. The prices here are also more reasonable than Flight's. Sometimes you'll find a GREAT steal (SUPREMES FOR $400? D'OH!).

Near the register, they have some pretty rare kicks. I'm not talking Tiffs, but the UNDFTD Hi's (not the colored one), Wu-tangs, and Lebron James SBs. Oh how the SB line has fallen.  Also in the corner, the used kicks that aren't in that great of condition compared to the ones on the shelves. I sort of regret buying a pair of UNKLES over those Supremes.

I feel more comfortable here than Flight since they don't give you the eyeball at what you're wearing. They also had this one super hot Japanese girl working here ahah. The area is also better than FCLA's, since Fairfax is hypebeast central. Anyways, if you're in Little Tokyo and love shoes, this is the place to be. While many sneakerheads fiend over FCLA, RIF is where it's at. And if you have the time, check out their blog.

I've come to realize that a) I hate shopping outside of my MacBook and b) sometimes I need to get out a little more. So when I must leave the house and do feel compelled to shop in-person, I am pretty particular about where I go.

RIF is a great place to gawk at some dope kicks that are surprisingly pretty appropriately priced. What I love about RIF is the variety of selection, which might even surpass that of Undefeated (yeah, I said it). The rare items are really quite rare (like the Wu-Tang Dunks), and there's a good amount of stuff that won't break your bank. However, being that it is a consignment shop, it's a matter of luck, so the size of the shoe you pick up better fit. Otherwise, consider yourself S.O.L.

Location is everything, and being that the store is in Little Tokyo makes its appeal that much greater. The LT is always a reliable location for some other good shopping and more importantly, good eats. Oh right, and the parking here doesn't make me want to throw a shit fit, so it's all gravy.

Very interesting. Very basic exposed brick interior with black wood furnishings. Chock full of sneakers. I thought Footland was the only sneaker place in Little Tokyo. This place seems to have materialized out of nowhere.

Right now they get a three for their crowded collection of AF1 variants, Vans, Air Max's, BAPE, adidas, Jordan's etc. Maybe these are just samples, but a lot of the display units were in huge sizes (12+), not the usual size 9.5. The collection also reflects the Japanese roots and location of this place which seems to have ties with LAvenelle and Napsize.

I just took a quick browse through their racks and didn't see anything that caught my eye, but this place is worth going back to. My friend commented on the dearth of female kicks, however.

Prices are nothing to write home about. BAPESta kicks are in the $400+ range, which is a good indicator that everything is authentic and selling at or near market value.

I checked out their website, they offer a similar service to comic book stores. You can bring in sellable kicks, have them valued, and set a selling price with the staff. If your kicks sell, you get the cash, minus their fee, or store credit. Not sure how much traction this service gets, but interesting nonetheless.

Staff was friendly and had cool hair and tats.

I definitely agree with what alot of the other peeps wrote about RIF. It actually DOES feel like a museum of rare kicks, more than it feels like a store. Why? Cause most of these consignment pieces of art are alot more than I'm willing to spend on fresh kicks; it's like an investment.

They do have a ton of kicks that I've either never seen before, or only seen in magazines... and if you're willing to shell out $375, 475, and more on buying some sneakers, then you're all good. Honestly though, as much as I love certain sneakers, I just don't feel as if I can justify spending that kind of loot "just for shoes" anymore. I guess I'm not the sneakerpimp I used to be. I know, I know, die hard peeps are probably thinking I'm soft, or I'm not down... but fuck that, I'd rather spend the money on a $1800 lens for my camera or something... at least I can make my money back on that purchase! I just don't know if I'm down to spend $500 on some kicks anymore. Shit is getting too crazy these days.

However, if you have the dough (or if you are a spoiled kid with rich parents), then by all means! Get your fixins on! Handle it and get your limited fresh Nikes, Adidas, AF1s, Dunks, Jordans, AirMax95s, 97s, and all that over at RIF! Yes, they even have Bapes there for those who insist those are still fashionable.

Just remember: The shoes on the racks in the front of the store are new consignment. The ones on the back shelves are USED. So make sure you know what you're buying.

Yes, it's affirmative. Undefeated and Sportie LA are undoubtedly qualified to carry the preeminent sneaker stores banner in the City of Angels.

But like the pigment of our skin, or a dense Russian novel, or a good tiramisu, there's layers that beg to be explored and experienced. These layers might not be easily discerned by the untrained eye, but they do exist  and once discovered they add meaning and substance to our understanding of the world around us while simultaneously teaching us about ourselves.

Well, maybe not.

But RIF kicks a pretty great amount of ass. You'll get your $475 pair of Nike Dunks for Mr. Sneakerhead, Nike Air Max's with leopard skin that run you $250 and retro Jordans that would make Bill Gates shudder upon learning their price.

Along with these limited-edition releases they put up shoes in the $75-100 range that make you nod your head and say to yourself, "These are sick. It's not an opinion. It's a fact."

80% of the store is comprised on Nike/Air Jordans, but their selection of Adidas, Creative Recreation, Vans, et al wipes the competition out.

It might be hard to get your size - get on the mailing list.

Better than both Flight Clubs for two reasons: 1) the service and 2) the prices...

The staff at Rif is a lot more helpful and a lot more courteous.  They'll ask if you need any help and to look for them when you do need help.  That's all it takes really.  I'm not asking to be babied or anything.  Just asking for some simple common courtesy, and the guys over at Rif do just that.  They do not give off a pretentious vibe at all.  Plus, they always got really good music playing throughout the store.  Very chill guys over at Rif.

Prices are a lot better too.  Probably because the consignment system benefits the seller more so at Rif than at the Flight Clubs (85% seller, 15% Rif as opposed to 80/20 over at FCLA and FCNY).

Shoe selection varies, since it is consignment.  But Rif manages to keep their selection diverse.  They always have the rarest shoes on their shelves.  They stock everything from Air Force 1's, Dunks, Air Maxes, SB's, Jordans, and other assorted Nikes.  You can also find Reeboks, Bapes, New Balances, Adidas, and many more  The high-end hard-to-find sneakers are kept up front by the cashiers.

After you're done here, cross the street and have some shabu shabu!

This place is a MUST GO to for anyone who is a 'sneakerhead' or just
looking for some hard to find Nike's. The first time I went into there I
initially thought it was UNDEFEATED because I knew it was in LA
somewhere and I saw pictures of it and it looked similar to the interior
of RIF, and so my dumbass goes to the person and I asked them,
"is this undefeated?" and the guy goes, "no, but we sell just as many
shoes" lol. They have some cool Nike's that I've seen online but the
thing is that most of their shoes are meant for MEN, and their sizes are
always too big for women =( I've been trying to get my hands on some
Dino jr edition Nike dunks forever! I thought they would have it and
sure enough THEY DO... but of course I can't rock it in a size 13 -_-

This store is like Flight Club, but it's located next to a Pinkberry in Japantown.  If you're in LA trying to find a rare pair of kicks, stop by RIF.  They might have what you're looking for.  If not, check out FCLA.

For someone is does so much business and has so many events in Downtown L.A. I really do not know why I have not been to this spot yet. The hype on this store almost has me to the point that I am going to wake up extra early to beat the holiday traffic and spend some of this Christmas money on some size 8.5 Jordan III's =)

The creme of the crop! This spot has it all! All those limited shoes or even the ones that you thought were sold out forever could all be found at this place. No fakes. No variants. This place is legit and heaven for any sneakerhead whose got the bread. Besides being a crowded (literally rubbing shoulder to shoulder to other sneakerheads crowded lol), the place has really good service. Alot more than I can say about Flight Club. The guy who runs this place is really cool and knows his stuff.

Hands down. The best sneaker joint in all of Cali that I have been to yet. You would be hard pressed not to find a pair of kicks you liked at this place. I gave this spot  5 stars despite the fact that I can't afford half the stuff they carry in this place. That is saying alot.

Amazing selection of limited shoes you decided not to sleep overnight in the freezing cold/rain for and now you have to pay a premium for. Damn the $2K denim dunks that have eluded me even though they have them in my size at RIF LA. I had to pass on the fact that I would never wear shoes worth that much. Great service and staff was friendly.

This place is the BEST if you have money to spend on awesome shoes. They have sooooo many dunks, Air force ones, SB's and Air Jordans its just.... UHH SO GREAT! I've been looking for some Frankenstien Air Force Ones all over and surely enough, THEY HAD IT!!! but in a size 9.5 :( too small for me as I'm a size eleven. one thing that I personally sorta don't like here and it just may be me is that there is nothing that is under $120.00. I mean its not bad at all for me as I have money, but this person was like "why are these shoes so expensive? have a famous foot been in them or something?" And the people that help you kindly answered that they were special editions. The even have the UENOS!!! I just got 2 pairs though. A blazer and a sold out everywhere pair of MID AIR FORCE ONES:)

i like the shoes that they have here. they are almost like museum pieces. no really. who wants to spend that much on a pair of kix?? i know that i would love to but at the same time, if i am going to pay that much for 'em...i will not wear them, in fear of people stepping on me or some other shit happening to them. the ones i like, a $1,500 pair of nikes that have a real pale pink color to 'em...with the traditional, japanese sakura (cherry blossom) print on them...the design i don't think is printed even. it seems like it mostly engraved or embossed. anyways, those were some sweet shoes.

they also carry some hard to find jordans. bapes, AF1's, cortez, dunks, etc.  it can be hard to find the size that you are looking for since this is a consignment shop. but ther are a lot of good finds here. to be in the center of downtown like that, it is an interesting store.

walter's moment of joy: a cute lil girl who worked there...she may have been korean. regardless, she was cute and a chill girl to talk to while on a lil stogie break . . .=D

THREE  STARS -- variety of hard to find shoes & ones you didn't know existed, cleanliness, knowledge of merchandise & what is in stock...

I started going to RIF when the first opened and they've certainly come a long way.  Their selection is crazy and now they have a section for used kicks as well as clothing (hats, shirts, hoodies, jeans, bags, ect.).  The inventory here is just as good, if not better than FC, not to mention the prices are much lower.  The best part is the service.  The guys here really know their stuff and always offer to help.  They treat everyone like a "customer" unlike FC.  It's a world of a difference.  You don't believe me.  Go to FC and see if anyone even says a single word to you.  Better yet, ask them for a pair of sneakers and see how they react.  Top it all off, try to bring some kicks in to sell at FC and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.  You try to do any of these at RIF, the guys at this store will take care of you and be genuinely nice about it without being stuck up.  If you like sneakers, you'll love this store.  Thank god there's more than one consignment store in LA.
