I went here with the kennel family for a Christmas dinner. The food was awesome. The Mexican martini's were even more so!
I had the Taco's del Mar with fish and those were some of the best tacos I've ever had. The fish is cooked in a garlic butter sauce that is to die for.
Next time I will try the mocjete. Someone at the table had it and I was so fascinated with it. It looked amazing.
This is a small town restaurant. Nothing fancy about it but the menu. Rick was our waiter and he was very attentive.
So if you ever find yourself in Taylor, be sure to stop for the mocjete....and the martini's!

This is a city type diner in a small town, which i made me happy to find.  The menu had some clever unexpected items.

After waiting for 45 minutes to get food that I was so disappointed by I wasnt so happy.   I paid my bill, but really did not want to, I did not eat my food.  I was even charged 1.29 for a glass of water.   We went to What-A-Burger to actually eat that night.

I went to Ricoco's a few weeks ago and I must say I was impressed with the service and the food.(To die for)  I had a dish that was served in a molcajete it was more food that I could handle. I am very picky but must say they where excellent with the service and food. The staff are great, the owners are very friendly. The portions were VERY generous and the presentation was excellent. I give them 5 stars in my book.   I will definitely return to try the rest of the menu since there is so many other things that I would like to try. PS the price is reasonable

Ricoco's. It's not tex-mex by any means. If you want some tasty food to eat stop in! Just don't order tacos and expect the tex-mex flavors on it, you will be pleasantly surprised by a whole new experience in your mouth!! Armando, the chef, has signature dishes that are great. One thing you must try is the mocjete! It comes with your choice of meat(s), onions, peppers, a tomotillo base sauce and topped with cheese and tomatoes! You can order it the regular way (spicy) or ask to tame it down some. The presentation of it is unique! I've had probably half the menu and it's all so delicious. The dishes are all grease free and good portions. Richard and Coco are very warm and welcoming. Their staff is excellent! When you sit down you will get chips, salsa and a cabbage type salsa. It's different but a good introduction to the latin flavors of their cooking. Richard also has a full bar! And for dessert, don't skip it, I recommend the sopapillas or the flan. The sopapillas are covered in sugar, cinnamon, and drizzled with caramel and whip cream (NO honey needed)! The flan is like no other flan you have had. It's homemade! No jiggling! It actually has flavor and texture to it. I highly recommend eat here! They are open tuesday-saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday from 11-3. Alittle off the beaten path but SO worth it!
