What a disappointment since our last visit to Red Lobster! We started with the lobster flatbread appetizer. It was not nearly as good as the prior lobster pizza appetizer and was way more expensive ($16.49).
Only two fish now available as grilled or baked, a stuffed flounder & salmon. I liked the flounder without stuffing, no longer available. My husband used to get the shrimp trio, now gone from menu.
Only one side with very expensive menu entrees. a side salad $2.49, cup (not a bowl) of soup, $6.99. If you want a Caesars salad, $4.99, ridiculous up charges.
Guess we won't be going to Red Lobster any more.

The food was typical Red Lobster food. However, the server we had was outstanding. It was strange because we were seated in the bar area, and our server had tables both in the bar and in the main dining room which kept her moving. It took a very long time for drinks to come out so our server ended up making them herself.

Ate at this Red Lobster location 2 weeks ago. To start off our silverware was dirty. Food was decent, very expensive. I then received food poisoning and Red Lobster did nothing ! Be careful if wanting to eat at this location in Rockford, Il.

Came here for dinner while we were in Rockford to attend a concert at a local venue. Upon arriving, we were graciously greeted by one of the staff. We only had to wait a few minutes to get a table, but while we waited, we had a drink in the bar. The bartender was very cheerful and courteous. She even took our photo (which we requested). When we were finally seated, our server made sure our drinks were fresh, and we ordered an appetizer. She was very outgoing, and made us feel at home. For an appetizer, we selected the lobster dip, which was scrumptious. And for our entrées...the new Lobster & Shrimp Feast. They were hot, fresh, and very delicious. Our server also was very attentive during our meal, making sure that our visit was pleasant and enjoyable. Looking over the previous reviews of other patrons, we figured this location must be under new management, because we found no similar deficiencies. If I'm in the area I definitely will be making a return trip.

Not many choices for seafood but not bad for a national chain. Menu has gotten expensive. But Rockford location is always busy.

The food was good but wait time and serve was horrible started out with them loosing our reservations so now we are seated and no one comes to the table for 15min ordered our food took 50min and had them take off the cost of my side dish that never came manger came by and comped our appetizer and offered to refill our drinks and then never came back with our drinks if you have 2hr for dinner this is the perfect place for you if not maybe try some where else

Holy Cow! Big Change! My wife and I used to go to this restaurant years back until last year it wet downhill. BUT what a change, we decided to go yesterday and it was soooo good. From the shrimp to the crab legs and let's not forget the lobster tail (lobster tail was a little small however very tasty) My wife had the fish, it was so tender. If you haven't eaten here in a while, it's worth another shot.

I have, up until now, developed a system to get around the Red Incompetence. Go to the bar. Order to go, have a drink, and run. Unfortunately, tonight, instead of my tattooed super bartendress, I got the to go specialist. No one in the bar area . This doesn't mean anything. She made sure that after a 45-minute wait while I was sitting looking at an empty beer, I did not get a 6.49 cup of chowder along with my order when I arrived home. I am to blame for trusting people to be competent at their job. Check your order. Food a solid 4. Serve 0.

The food was good. The Stella cold.
The table was greasy.
The server was nice but forgot a soup and all salads.
She tried to recover with seven one dollar bills after we paid.
The manager tried recovery with a $10 bill for the salads. Very strange.
