Revolution allows people to create a landscape the looks beautiful and creates food while lowering water consumption. Their costs are VERY competitive and they're wonderful to work with.
Specialties
We design and build edible gardens and sustainable landscapes for the residents of San Diego. Our dynamic landscapes integrate fruits, veggies, and herbs, reduce water usage, and restore the native habitat.
Since our landscapes don't include water-hungry lawns, our maintenance service involves a weekly harvest of ripe produce from the yard. Vegetation in the garden changes with the season and our clients love their weekly baskets of the freshest, organic produce around!
We also strive to exercise the most sustainable practices in the way we operate. For example, we grow our vegetable plants organically from seeds in our own nursery, we collect and compost our client's organic wastes and use the rich compost back on the gardens, and we will be running our trucks on recycled vegetable oil by the end of 2010.
Overall, we are working to bring more water-wise, enviromentally-friendly, and productive landscapes into San Diego neighborhoods.
History
Established in 2008
Revolution Landscape was first conceived in 2008 as a sustainable landscape design company. With the hard work of Revolution's staff, in less than one year, the idea was transformed into an exciting design, construction, and maintenance company with a new way of looking at business, society, and the environment.
The company consists of several homegrown San Diegans hailing from universities including UCSD, UCSC, San Diego State, and the University of Michigan. Our staff's range of educational focuses and expertise have translated into a well rounded, well thought-out, and action-based organization.
Today, we not only look forward to building beautiful and bountiful landscapes but also to participating in community organizations and educating students at local schools.
